In my own case the child involved was my own niece but it had gotten to a stage where I was afraid of what I would do to her if she performed one of her stunts again. She was turning me into someone I didn't recognise. She still comes over for occasional holidays and seems a bit sober. When I suggested bringing her back even her dad's own sister ( the Father is late)warned me against that.

Charles Okah has been on trial for 6 years and has not been found guilty of anything. During this time he has been tortured up to the extent that his cell was gassed in the name of fumigation and one of his co accused died. The man has asked to be speedily tried and convicted if they have any solid proof against him. So as it stands now according to the laws of Nigeria he is an innocent man.

Charles Okah has been in prison custody since 2010, if they have so much evidence why has he not been convicted and jailed His brother has been speedily tried and convicted by a competent court in SA. Meanwhile compare his condition to that of Al Mustapha, Ibrahim Abacha or Bode George while in prison.

PDP controlled more states and seats at NASS before the election, if APC could raise their own fund from the few states they controlled, why would PDP had dry our reserve for an ambition claimed not to worth the blood of any Nigeria..........what other blood is more than the hunger, frustration and starvation the left us in now as a result of their selfish political ambition?

When this story of Deizani giving cash first came up EFCC said the money was paid to Deizanis account by some buisiness men and they were only probing it because it was meant to bribe INEC officials.

If there is any truth in this report we are in great trouble. Something is wrong when sensitive information about the president of a nation can be leaked to the media so cheaply. Medical records are usually private and should only be released by the patient and in rare cases where the courts decide. I have always said that those hailing sahara reporters investigative reporting when they were dishing out jist from a "reliable source" were encouraging impunity. It means someone or groups with real evil intent will not find it difficult to get information on the presidents and other sensitive institutions.

That exactly is the problem everybody government both the previous and the present, civil society, bloggers, the army and intranet warriors have acted like only the Chibok girls matter. 97 women and children were released or rescued , nobody cares who they are or where they are from once one of them was identified as a Chibok girl there is a frenzy of activity. Even when girls were blowing themselves up as suicide bombers the only concern seemed to be if they were Chibok girls or not. Believe it, we just had the first female urologist in Nigeria in 2014, Dr Abolarinwa also finished her Post graduate training from LASUTH were Dr Mgbajah finished from. Surgery as a whole has few females and some specialties like cardiology, urology, orthopaedics even general surgery are seen as male specialties. Now if you talk of opthalmologist that is one feild of surgery that women dominate.

The IJIC website has now made it possible for anybody with Internet access to search the Panama papers themselves. I have been waiting for updates from Premium Times since this was released yesterday but they have gone strangley silent. So I decided to go there myself and see things with my own two eyes. I have searched for Mike Adenuga, David Mark, Bukola Saraki but so far have drawn blanks. I searched for some of the companies said to be linked to David Mark but while they exist, I didn't see his name mentioned as a share holder. I saw Toyin Saraki and her brother mentioned , but Toyin Sarakis name was mentioned for a company whose registered address was Ikoyi Lagos, not one hidden company as I was made to believe. Maybe I am not searching well or am not internet savvy enough so I need someone to help me. Direct me on how to search properly. Most other Nigerians whose names are there are private sector people and many of the companies had Nigerian addresses so I am yet to see any crime committed here. Some former NNPC bosses were mentioned too.

Funds in the TSA belong to the three tiers of government, not the FG alone, you know.

Wrong TSA funds are Federal only. They are not recovered funds or stolen funds. For instance this year all ministries will have their allocation from the budget paid into TSA, from their they can make withdrawals to pay salaries and run their ministries. They cannot hold accounts in commercial banks. Agencies is like WAEC, JAMB, Customs etc will have accounts in the TSA so if you need to pay for JAMB you pay via REMITA into the TSA. Even Unity Federal school fees are paid into TSA and the schools withdraw from their accounts there.Even proffesional bodies like the Medical and Dental council now have accounts in the TSA and all practising licences are paid via Remita.There All government did with TSA was pool all Federal government funds into a single account nothing more. The Federal government cannot use it to fund the budget because most of it is money already accounted for in previous budgets. The only money the government can add to future budgets are receipts from agencies like customs, NNPC which are generating.
Simple analogy is a father saying all membrane of a family should use only one account. Then when they bring their money from their individual accounts announcing that the family has just made XYZ amount.

I have searched for Saraki, David Mark and even Allison Madueke and didn't find these names. Could you link me to the part where their names are found, The only two Nigerian names I found were James Ibori and Adewale Tinubu.

Both of them are criminals bribe giver and bribe taker. Because he would have inflated the contract sum done a shoddy job and collected his own with no questions asked.

Do a time table of how you would take care of the house adequately if you were the one doing the chores by yourself. Factor in time off and time for meals and even playtime with the kids. If you look at it and you would get tired and frustrated doing it , so would your house help. A frustrated house help would in turn take it out on the children. If your expectations are unrealistic you will continually be complaining of your help because she can never meet up with your standards. I have always had house help because I hate housework and I work hard enough topay so eone else. But usually I give them a break during my leave and some weekends and handle my home myself, that way I can see what needs to be done and do some other things to my own standards. By the time they come back they are refreshed and I am relieved to hand over.

The problem I commonly see as a doctor is ruptured ear drum from the husband slapping the wife. (Most men I have seen however had their ear drums ruptured from policemen , military men or armed robbers slapping them none ever admitted it was his wife). In so many cases the husband would accompany the wife to clinic and hold her hands while consultation is on and the women act so happy that they have such a caring husband. I have only ever seen one case where the woman was angry enough to ask if we could provide photographs in case she wanted to press charges.
As for the case above the man left things too late he should have run since and I agree with the poster who said he had better get out of the marriage ASAP because one day he will erupt and do something which he will regret for the rest of his life. ANYBODY, male or female in an abusive marriage should get out and get help. If for any reason they wish to continue with the marriage they should both see a psychologist and get proper councelling ,not Nigerian church counselling or famity meeting where they are more concerned with what others will say . I say both of them because they contribute to the situation in different ways either as the recipient of abuse or the giver of abuse.

Why do they keep saying Nigeria had 42 ministries under the last dispensation. The country had 29 ministries and 42 ministers. The Presidency keeps repeating this point and I wonder if there is other important information that they are making such silly mistakes and acting on.
