That is your personal psychology. You have chosen to configure your mind with superstitious software ,of course it is real FOR YOU . Of that I have no doubt .What is wrong is to believe that what is true for you is true for EVERYONE or that that which is mysterious and inexplicable to you is so to EVERYONE. With the right kind of programming churchgoers like you acquire a certain vocabulary and mindset that is characteristic among Nigerians. This is just an admixture of superstition and reduced brain power or mental laziness. Yes meditation is a very beneficial exercise as is freedom from feelings of guilt but this can be fond in many who have no belief in God or gods. One can find peace and internal harmony without DOGMA which is what your bible is at the end of the day in its application. It is usefu in TUNING the mind but so are all kinds of poetry and verse if you know where to look . Bottomline believing in God and going to church to clap and sing may lead some to internal peace but this can be achieved without going either if one has insight and GOOD HABITS. About 99% of churchgoers go out of habit nd do not even understand or practice the teachings of Jesus

Well, i commend you to God who is able to make the eyes of your understanding open.May it not be too late for you before you realise the truth.Amen.No book, teaching, learning can make you glad except the Bible.Help from God is on the way for you in Jesus name.

my brother, a word they say is enough for the wise.I am a living witness. It is not a frame up.It has affected me spiritually am not deceiving you.The wages of sin (not going to church to fellowship with the brethren according to Hebrews10vs25) is death my brother. That is not physical death but spiritual death.Moreso, David said in Psalm 27, one thing have i asked of the Lord, that will i seek after is the priviledge(yes it is a priviledge not a right ask people who are sick and need to be carried about) to dwell(to live) in the house of the Lord and meditate(deep thinking) in His Temple. My brother not all churchgoers are christians 'indeed' not all of them will go to heaven either; so i would advise you not to base your faith, believe or christianity on what others do.Jesus is our perfect example.Be a disciple by going to a bible believing church.Do your best and leave the rest.I rest my case. God bless you.

Privacy concerns
The eID card has, however, caused some controversy.

Civil liberties organisation Privacy International has raised concerns about the data integration, saying it would make it easy to link together pieces of information about a person.

It is also concerned about the combination of the identity scheme with a strongly commercial initiative such as the bank card.

Concerns were also expressed on popular Nigerian social networking site Nairaland.

"The future of 170 million Nigerians sold to MasterCard," said one user, while others said they were worried about their personal data and how it would be used

No matter how much one tries. I think having first-class in the following course may turn to be a mirage. Here are they
1)Fine Arts
2)Architecture
3)English language
4)Chemistry
5)Languages eg french, portuguese etc
6)Chemical Engineering
7)History
coolPsychology

REASONS- Regardless of how beautiful your drawing is, or how great your construction work may appear. Your lecturer would never give you full mark. And that may keep you wondering. Write all the Essays or any other article in English language as perfect as you think. 'Blow' all the grammar in the dictionary. I assure you you won't be given full mark. Same goes with History. And this would keep on affecting the CGPA. Don't tell me you know everything in psychology- so tell me, why is you shirt yellow? You need to explain to me in details, i mean details!
As for chemistry and chemical Engineering i don't know why first class is getting low nowadays. The students studying those courses often complain that the course is too tough and lucrative.

Physics should be on the list...i have never seen anyone being touted as a first class holder in this field.Although somebody in my department had first class in Physics Education when i graduated, but pure Physics, it's a bit difficult.

Religion / Re: Jesus' Two Natures: God And Man by alolatee(m): 10:19pm On Jan 19, 2015
dd12345:
Jesus is the most important person who has ever lived since he is the savior, God in human flesh. He is not half God and half man. He is fully divine and fully man. In other words, Jesus has two distinct natures: divine and human. Jesus is the Word who was God, and was with God, and was made flesh (John 1:1,14). This means that in the single person of Jesus he has both a human and divine nature, God and man. The divine nature was not changed when the Word became flesh (John 1:1,14). Instead, the Word was joined with humanity (Col. 2:9). Jesus' divine nature was not altered. Also, Jesus is not merely a man who "had God within Him," nor is he a man who "manifested the God principle." He is God in flesh, second person of the Trinity. "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word," (Heb. 1:3). Jesus' two natures are not "mixed together" (Eutychianism), nor are they combined into a new God-man nature (Monophysitism). They are separate yet act as a unit in the one person of Jesus. This is called the Hypostatic Union.
The following chart should help you see the two natures of Jesus "in action":
GOD MAN
He is worshiped (Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33)
He worshiped the Father (John 17)
He was called God (John 20:28; Heb. 1:cool
He was called man (Mark 15:39; John 19:5)

He was called Son of God (Mark 1:1)
He was called Son of Man (John 9:35-37)

He is prayed to (Acts 7:59)
He prayed to the Father (John 17)
He is sinless (1 Pet. 2:22; Heb. 4:15)
He was tempted (Matt. 4:1)

He knows all things (John 21:17)
He grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52)

He gives eternal life (John 10:28)
He died (Rom. 5:cool

All the fullness of deity dwells in Him (Col. 2:9)
He has a body of flesh and bones (Luke 24:39)

The Communicatio Idiomatum
A doctrine that is related to the Hypostatic Union is the communicatio idiomatum (Latin for "communication of properties"wink. This is the teaching that the attributes of both the divine and human natures are ascribed to the one person of Jesus. This means that the man Jesus could lay claim to the glory He had with the Father before the world was made (John 17:5), claim that He descended from heaven (John 3:13), and also claim omnipresence (Matt. 28:20). All of these are divine qualities that are laid claim to by Jesus; therefore, the attributes of the divine properties were claimed by the person of Jesus.
One of the most common errors that non-Christian cults make is not understanding the two natures of Christ. For example, the Jehovah's Witnesses focus on Jesus' humanity and ignore His divinity. They repeatedly quote verses dealing with Jesus as a man and try to set them against Scripture showing that Jesus is also divine. On the other hand, the Christian Scientists do the reverse. They focus on the Scriptures showing Jesus' divinity to the extent of denying His true humanity.
For a proper understanding of Jesus and, therefore, all other doctrines that relate to Him, His two natures must be properly understood and defined. Jesus is one person with two natures. This is why He would grow in wisdom and stature (Luke 2:52) yet know all things (John 21:17). He is the Divine Word that became flesh (John 1:1,14).
The Bible is about Jesus (John 5:39). The prophets prophesied about Him (Acts 10:43). The Father bore witness of Him (John 5:37; 8:18). The Holy Spirit bore witness of Him (John 15:26). The works Jesus did bore witness of Him (John 5:36; 10:25). The multitudes bore witness of Him (John 12:17). And, Jesus bore witness of Himself (John 14:6; 18:6).
Other verses to consider when examining His deity are John 10:30-33; 20:28; Col. 2:9; Phil. 2:5-8; Heb. 1:6-8; and 2 Pet. 1:1.
1 Tim. 2:5 says, "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Right now, there is a MAN in heaven on the throne of God. He is our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). He is our Savior (Titus 2:13). He is our Lord (Rom. 10:9-10). He is Jesus.

@OP though i did not read through but the Topic has finished it all what u had in mind. This is the nature of our saviour. This post should serve as a truth to an earlier post which depicts Jesus as a man and not God.That other post was countering the fact that Jesus is not God with no scriptural proof and full of error...This makes me glad i would say.well done sir/ma.

johnydon22:
Now i think its time we treat this once and for all. . . The bible was very clear when it said that the talking snake decieved the woman NOW THE serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, You shall not eat from every tree of the garden?
2And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit from the trees of the garden,

3Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

4But the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die,

Here you see it said the snake was more sublte and crafty than every other animal. ok after the fall of adam and eve God punished the talking snake by removing its leg and making it crawl on it belly. . . now its very clear that this was an animal, a talking snake created by God and not the devil. . So why do christians always yapping the devil decieved eve. . . ??

my brother, do not make a mountain out of a mole....crafty means he is wise and came in that form to depict satan transforms himself for all his activities....Remember he comes to us to whisper his voice today and tries to convince us to do bad..If u have not killed before and have a moral inclination will you yield to a Devil in form of a man who whispers to u to kill your wife or child for no just cause except that you will make heaven?...No i don't think you will.Because u could see him appearing like a man..at that point you call the person a Devil...so he transforms as angel of darkness into angel of light.Note that aftr the fall God recognised they knew evil and good.He also said they would live if they eat of the second tree;the Tree of Life and sent them away from the garden. Why didn't the devil move Eve to eat of the Tree of Life?No he wouldn't because he wants them dead so he gave the inferior for the superior. That is the aim of his wisdom or craftiness.

Religion / Re: The Son Of God And The Son Of Man by alolatee(m): 9:45pm On Jan 02, 2015
kingviny:
Son of God and Son of Man

For thousands of years already a great error has persisted: The assumption that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and at the same time the oft-mentioned Son of Man is wrong! In order to bridge the gulf between God and humanity, which humanity itself had torn open by cultivating the space- and time- bound intellect, a part of the Divinity had incarnated *(Entered into earthly existence) in Jesus of Nazareth. Thus Jesus was Son of God; as a part of Him He fulfilled His mission amongst humanity, which he could only accomplish in a physical body of flesh and blood. Even during the incarnation He remained the Son of God.

If he was the Son of God, however, he could not also be the Son of Man, for they are two and essentially different. And He was and still is the Son of God! Who then is the Son of Man? *(Lecture No. 60: The Son of Man)

The disciples did notice that Jesus spoke in the third person whenever He spoke of the Son of Man, and they questioned Him about this. The Gospels were written based upon the writers’ own assumption that Jesus, the Son of God, and the Son of Man were one and the same person. From the outset, all of their reports were based upon this error, and thereby, unknowingly and unintentionally, misconceptions were spread.

Whenever Jesus spoke of the Son of Man He spoke prophetically of His coming. He Himself announced it because the coming of the Son of Man is intimately related to the ministry of the Son of God. He said: “But when the Son of Man shall come...” etc.

Like everywhere in Creation, this is a cyclical process. The Godhead descended to humanity through Jesus, in order to bring the Truth and sow the seed. The seed sprouted, and the fruit ripens toward the harvest. At the present time within this cycle, humanity, matured through the Truth brought by the Son of God, shall foam upwards to the Godhead in the Son of Man, and through Him reestablish the close connection to God.

This is not to be thought of purely symbolically, as so many assume, but the Word will be fulfilled literally through a person, just as it was with Jesus. Between the two Persons, Jesus the Son of God and the Son of Man, lies the immense karma of humanity.

Jesus went to Jerusalem for the Easter Festival where people of many nations were represented. The people sent out messengers to Gethsemane in order to fetch Jesus. It was the time when through their messengers, humanity, filled with hate and brutality, sought the emissary of God. Now observe the moment when He stepped from the garden and they were standing before Him with weapons and torches with thoughts of destruction.

When the Son of God spoke the words: “I am He!” and thereby delivered Himself up to mankind, the immense karma with which mankind burdened itself set in. From that moment on it weighed upon humanity, and in accordance with the inexorable Laws of the Universe forced it lower and lower to the ground, until the final resolution draws near. We are now close to it!

It will close in an elliptical cycle. The resolution comes through the Son of Man!

When mankind will have become disheartened, desperate, demoralized and small, so very small through the severity of events, then the hour will have arrived when they will yearn for and seek the Envoy of God! And when they find Him, they will, as before, send out messengers. They however will not bear thoughts of hatred and destruction. But this time, through these messengers, humanity, broken down, humble and pleading but filled with trust approaches Him who has been chosen by the highest Ruler of all the worlds to free them from their bondage and to bring them help and deliverance from spiritual and earthly distress.

These messengers will also bring questions. And just as the Son of God once spoke: “I am He!” at Gethsemane, whereby the karma of humanity began, so this time God’s Envoy will again answer with the same words: “I am He!” whereby this terrible human karma will be resolved. The same words which once burdened a hate-filled humanity with great guilt will remove the guilt from a humanity which now approaches again with the same question, full of fear yet trusting and pleading.

This karmic cycle is of gigantic proportion, and yet it is led with such certainty and precision that the prophecies are fulfilled in it. From the hour on when this word is spoken to humanity for the second time by an Emissary of God, the ascent begins. Only then will the Kingdom of Peace commence according to the Will of the Most High, but not before!

On the one side you see the messengers of a hate-filled humanity approaching the Son of God, fettering and mistreating Him and seeming to triumph over Him. Then follows the self-induced and continual decline in the inevitable reciprocal action. At the same time, however, there is also the strengthening and maturing of the seed that was sown by Jesus. Now the Son of Man, the Envoy of God heralded by Jesus himself, approaches. He will carry on and complete the mission of the Son of God in His service, and will gather the harvest while separating the wheat from the chaff in accordance with Divine Justice.

Jesus, the Son of God, came among humanity out of love in order to restore the connection which humanity had destroyed. The Son of Man is the Man who is in God, and who closes the connection in the cycle so that pure harmony can flow through all of Creation once again.

God is not the curse of Evil- Isaiah45vs7 says 'I form the light and create darkness, i bring prosperity and create disaster, I the Lord, do all these things'. Also, Lamentations3vs38 says 'Is it not from the mouth of the mst high that both calamities and good things come? Romans1vs28 says 'Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to reain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to the depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.I make bold to say from these scriptures that God is the creator of evil but, he is not the cause f it, he allows it to punish the disobedient ones just as Hell is created for the devil and the disobedient children-Matthew25vs41.
Creating evil is not the same as being the cause of it.
For example, the man who invented(created) AK47 may not even have the intention of using it to kill humans.Even if it is for the Lawbreakers, as the law is made for the law breakers, the one who uses the Gun to kill is the cause of the evil. The one who invented drug is not the abuser or cause of the evil of drug abuse.Hell was not made for humans, but because disobedient children sised with satan, God created Hell for the disobedient who chooses to follow the devil and his angels.thanks

my Brother, Take time to read the bible with concordance if need be.Read also 1corinthians14vs34-Women should remain silent in the churche. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submissio, as the LAW says,...this reading should even guide u to believe that this instruction was passed to Timothy who Paul addressed the Corinthians too.In the dispensation of the Law, women usually are considered unclean because of their monthly discharges which makes them unholy in worship. I hope u know we are in the dispensation of grace, as such every man has the same right before God..and moreso read earlier what Paul had to say...1corinthians11vs2-16..especially verse 11, women are not independent of men, neither are men independent of women.I conlude by saying Paul being a pharisee had some beliefs which he still carried on after his conversion and Apostleship.
