As sad as it may sound, cases like this happen routinely in the banking industry and even other industries too.  It really does not have anything to do with Sanusi.

What romantic mistakes have you made so far in your lifetime?. Like rushing into a relationship, sleeping with someone that you shouldn't , falling in love with someone who would have been more useful as a friend, etc.

Did you learn anything from that mistake?

Bank Chief Charged With Fraud

State Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, has filed a four-count criminal charge of conspiracy and stealing against a manager of Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Tosin Lawal and her husband, Michael.
In the said charge number FHC/L/342C/11 filed before a Federal High Court in Lagos, the police prosecuting officer, Nosa Ununnogho, alleged that Tosin and Michael Lawal, between 22 April and 6 September, 2011 at Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Allen Avenue, Ikeja branch, did conspire to commit felony to wit stealing and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 516 of the Criminal Code, law of the Federation 2004.
The prosecutor alleged further that the accused, being a customer services manager of the bank, same time and place, with the intention to defraud, knowingly made fraudulent account concerning transactions in various customers’ accounts under her control, thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 438 of the Criminal Code laws of the Federation.
It was also alleged in the third count of the charge that the accused persons, same time and place, with intention to defraud, obtained N209,674,267, property of Ecobank Nigeria Plc under the pretext that the amount was being posted to their lawful owners’ accounts, a representation they knew to be false, thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 419 of the Criminal Code.
In the fourth count, the accused were alleged to have stolen N209,674,267, property of Ecobank of Nigeria Plc, thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 390 of the Criminal Code.
The accused persons were initially arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court but chose to be tried by a High Court, hence the new charge was filed at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
The arraignment was, however, stalled last week as the first accused, Tosin Lawal, currently in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since 30 September, was not produced.
The presiding judge, Justice Okechukwu Okeke, adjourned for a new date to be fixed for the arraignment of the accused persons.

Given that they already have an icy relationship, it's not improbable that she's told her husband about her not so great relationship with her half sister. A randy cheat like this man will just spin everything around the unmarried sister being jealous and bent on wrecking their marriage.

Who's the pregnant sister going to believe? Your guess is as good as mine.  She should let sleeping dogs lie
What if your pregnant sister end up with HIV someday because she didn't get the information she should have gotten from her own sister?. Will you be able to live with yourself?

@Beaf

I am sure the ones you are aware of are the Abuja - Kaduna road via Keffi and the Jos - Bauchi road, please go beyond Gombe and see bad federal roads, try going to Adamawa by road and you will know that the devil resides on that road, most of the federal roads were built by the PTF (not OBJ) that is true enough, same can be said for the federal roads down south, the only difference is the contractors down south chopped the money ( the Ibadan - Ilesha road is an example).
@Aloy
Roads may be important, but which one will you prefer in the North Good roads and Boko Haram, or not so good roads but an intelligent forward looking region.
Both are important. It's like asking me to choose between my kidney and liver.

IslamRe: Mut' Ah Marriage? by aloyemeka4(op): 3:43am On Nov 10, 2011
Islam’s attitude towards women can better be understood from a sixteenth century treatise, The perfumed garden by Shaykh Nefzawi. “Do you know women’s religion is in their vaginas?” Nefzawi asked, “they are insatiable as per as their vulvas are concerned, and so long as their lust is satisfied they do not care [s]whether it is a buffoon, a negro, a valet, or even a despised man[/s].
You are not also respected in Islam as a black man. Read the crossed text above and see where Islam places you as a negro.

Sweetnecta:
i need to get me that daughter of Toba, because i am sure i am somewhat 15 years older, intending to add a decade of two, through her to my age, if Allah Wills me to be live longer.

unless if toba already willed her to my brother in Islam as he promised, earlier.

we in islam do not compete again each other in matters of intending marriage, so i  may have to find that young woman still.

definitely, muslim woman/women has/ve right over me, than any non muslim woman.
Which right does the woman have? In Islam?. In Urdu, women are called ‘aurat’ (عورت), which came from the Arabic word ‘awrah’ (عورة). The Arabic word refers to the genitals of a woman’s body, in a simple and straightforward word, which is called the ‘vagina’. It means, the entire body of a Muslim woman is a huge vagina and nothing else (Warraq, 2005. p. 316). How many Urdu speaking Asian Muslims know this fact that for referring their mothers, sisters and daughters, they use a word which actually degrades their women folks?

‘Nikah’ (Muslim marriage, النكاح) is an Arabic word whose literal meaning is penetration (Kaleeby, 2002; Warraq, 2005). It can be pronounced as ‘Nokh’, which again means the ‘awrah’, the giant vagina, i.e, the entire body of a Muslim woman. When the word ‘Nikah’ is used to mean marriage, the actual meaning is not marriage but literally ‘sexual penetration’. Ignorant Muslims often use these words, without knowing their actual meaning and degrade their woman folks to the level of sex-slaves and cheap highway prostitutes.

Kasem (n. d) concluded that the method of securing such sexual / physical pleasure is very similar to a commercial / business transaction. In plain language, this is called prostitution. In all cases of marriage and sex, the women are treated merely as sex-objects, much like the provider of a service for which she must be paid some compensation.

Islam’s attitude towards women can better be understood from a sixteenth century treatise, The perfumed garden by Shaykh Nefzawi. “Do you know women’s religion is in their vaginas?” Nefzawi asked, “they are insatiable as per as their vulvas are concerned, and so long as their lust is satisfied they do not care whether it is a buffoon, a negro, a valet, or even a despised man. It is Satan, who makes the juices flow from their vaginas” (cited Warraq, 1995. p. 290).

Nigeria working to restore normalcy in Darfur

Written by
Wednesday, 09 November 2011

Nigeria is taking a more active role in diplomatic efforts to restore normalcy to Darfur, Sudan, where another attack on United Nations (UN) troops was recorded at the weekend, Empowered Newswire reports.

UN sources disclosed on Tuesday that during the meeting at the opening of the current General Assembly in September, both President Goodluck Jonathan and UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, reviewed the situation in Darfur, especially the seeming weariness of the Sudanese government to cooperate with the African Union(AU) and UN Mission in Darfur, UNAMID, headed by one of Nigeria's top former External Affairs Minister, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.

UNAMID is the first hybrid mission of the UN, where both the AU and the UN came together to deploy the troops and pick its head, who must enjoy the support of both the UN and the AU.

But there has been recent concerns that certain elements in the Sudanese government were beginning to undermine the activities of UNAMID, a development that sources said bothered the UN secretariat causing the Secretary-General to table the issue before President Jonathan at their New York bilateral meeting recently.

It was learnt that the issue, which was tabled at the instance of the UN Secretary-General led to the Federal Government sending a special envoy to Sudan to encourage the Sudanese government to step-up its cooperation with the UN and respect the calibre of diplomats who are committed to ensuring the complete restoration of peace and normalcy in that troubled region of the country.

The special envoy deployed to deliver the message of President Jonathan last month, was former Nigerian Military Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubakar, who expressed the need for the Sudanese government to tune-up its working relationship and cooperation with UNAMID in the interest of the full restoration of normalcy in Darfur.
