bawomolo:I can't find Jumobi's picture but I will when I find it. She was the most beautiful girl in Nigeria during her days na. |
bawomolo:No am not. That Halle chic is not half as pretty as Jumobi. Do you know Jumobi?. halle Berry is the prettiest only in America. |
Aigbofa:Apparently, Yorubas are innocent. I am also surprised that you did not notice that Yorubas usually start the fire first and when igbos shoot back, they duck and start complaining. If you want proof, visit most threads and check who throws the first stone in most cases. To further clarify this: Only Mrfire/mekusshit/akinEgba and Ezeuche are the 2 active Igbo tribalists here but Yorubas are : tpia, Akingbemaru/Aigbofa, Sefago, Sjeezy, bk/bunkum born-in-1997 and one other gay like that. Becomerich is not a tribalist and is not interested in insulting anyone. He is just a conscientious dissident and as such is not one of the bitter Yorubas here. On the outside, check ethnic carnages and tell me how many times you've heard that igbos waylaid other tribes and massacred them. Take out your tribal lens, cool down your temper and tell the truth and shame the devil. It is necessary for the improvement of your soul. |
ezeagu:Somehow I think Babapupa is one of these riffraffs who receive secret funding from politicians to help checkmate their critics online. Obama, Bush, Clinton ,etc have one and I will not be surprised if Fashola has one in Babapupa. After all it will not cost him more than N200K a month to employ him for the purposes of trolling Nigerian websites and cursing out any mortal who dare to speak against them. From the way he defends Fashola sheepishly, you will notice that he is a paid agent. Its all good because I've learned to ignore him hundred years ago. I am only sorry for the likes of KoboJunkie who wastes his saliva trying to talk sense into a mercenary. |
yomola:You better take cover before fashola worshipers descend on you. They don't care whether you are the person who posted the tread or whether na you be the author sef, na everybody must be massacred Northern mentality they will use against you. Read through this thread and see the array of insults I've received for posting something written by another person. Imagine what they will do to the real author if they see him in person. |
A village is being massacred in the North and these asswipes are here fighting as tribal combatants. If you relly want war, step off your keyboard and start something physical. Let us respect these families who lost dear ones today abeg. |

sjeezy8:Only that Halle Berry is not as fine as Jumobi Adegbesan during her hay days. |
Okay ![]() We have two option for Jonathan ebelechukwu Azikiwe Goodluck , either he remove the Edo , delta and Yorubas from Nigeria. Or we all go to the United nation and have the sudan option. Please break down this arithmetic further so I can understand it. All of us here did not study electricity engineering. |

Siblings In Marriage Date: Jul 13th, 2010. We have said so much about the relationship of women with in-laws. No doubt, a good number of in-laws are difficult to relate with. But like I always say, we are all in-laws in one way or the other. Whatever you sow, you reap. But what about the issue of siblings in our homes? Just like the in-laws, siblings have torn many homes apart. Women most of the time get too attached to the siblings that it begins to affect their relationship with the man. Yes, I know you have to be close to your family (parents and siblings), but if you don’t put certain things in check, you are bound to go beyond the healthy zone and then such relationship becomes harmful to that with your man. When two people are joined together in holy matrimony, the priest always read the Bible passage that says, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and the two shall become one”. Is the Holy Scripture just referring to the man alone? Definitely no. The woman has to also leave the parents and siblings and become one with the man. So many women pray for a disconnection of the man from his family when they are also very much attached to their own family. You know there are times we pray without understanding. You spend your time complaining about the man and his family members not allowing you to enjoy your home. Madam, are your own family members allowing you enjoy your home? We have this understanding in the African society that anyone from the woman’s immediate family wishes her well in marriage. I can tell you today that your very own blood sister and mother could be your worst enemy. Wondering why I said this? Read on. A girl I know very well got married and was childless for 8 years. The prayer contractors that surrounded her were quick to tell her what she wanted to hear: the mother-in-law was a witch. It was not until a genuine pastor revealed to her that her mother was behind her misery that her freedom came. The man told her that the mother must die if she would have a baby. They did a lot of things, and later the mother died. She conceived and today she is a mother of four. I once attended a wedding where a woman gave her innocent daughter out in marriage to her lover. This she did just to hold on to the man’s wealth and also for easy access to her lover. Girl, you may not believe this, but I can tell you that a lot of mothers are having secret affairs with their sons-in-law. This is why I tell people never to trust anyone. Now to the issue at hand —your siblings. I believe so many people have gone through so much in the hands of their siblings. Some have been able to identify the source of their problems and make amends while others are still living in ignorance. I once lived with a family friend while waiting for my JAMB result. Being very ignorant about the issues of life, this woman had so much going wrong in her home. Her husband will always come home during the day and take the sister to bed. Several times, I saw them cuddling. I really felt for her but there was nothing I could do. Read more: Siblings In Marriage | Nigerian News – P.M. On the matter of the poor state of Lagos roads By Abimbola Adelakun, Published: Thursday, 15 July 2010 God knows how much I hate to over flog the issue of the poor state of Lagos roads but I cannot help but revisit the matter now and then especially since nothing concrete has been done so far. The problem is, Lagos roads are bad. It is ironic that government focuses on vehicles that are road worthy while forgetting that most roads are not even car worthy. I live in an area where the road is so bad that driving through the place is a nightmare. A part of the road was hurriedly repaired but with two or three heavy rainfalls, the outer layer has been washed away and the façade underneath has been revealed for all to see. That is not the only sorry story. The road leading to my house is so bad that whenever it rains, I am ashamed when a visitor comes to see me. The road issue has brought us untold sufferings. One has to dodge Okadas, dodge vehicles, dodge wheel barrows and every kind of moving vehicles just to survive moving round the area. It is highly frustrating. The road has been under repairs for about two years now. God knows when the local government (I am told it is the LG that is constructing the road) will get its act together and complete the road once and for all. Well, from all indications, the problem is not limited to my place alone. From a reader who lives in another part of Lagos whose name I will decline to mention, I have a list of roads that are in a very bad shape. All over the city, people are complaining about potholes and other problems with the road. A trip round oshodi, Ikeja, Agege, Aswani road, isolo way etc shows that the problem is a general one. In fact, I am tempted to believe that every road in Lagos is bad. A friend of mine actually pointed out that there are only six good roads in Lagos: kudirat Abiola,Awolowo Road,Itire Road,Bourdillon Road and Lekki Road. I will like to add the new UniLag road to that list. The rest are either nor strong enough or have been seriously damaged. http://www.punchng.com/blog_read.aspx?read=210 |

Former Abia State governor, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, left a debt burden of N29.2 billion without a kobo in the account as credit balance, when he left the saddle in 2007, national chairman of the Progressive Peoples Alliance(PPA), Lisa Olu Akerele, has disclosed https://www.saharareporters.com/images/stories/eunice_uzor_kalu.jpg Eunice Uzor Kalu's $1.7 million Texas mansion Akerele said in a press statement in Abuja on Monday, that Chief Kalu owed the banks N19.2 billion; debts to local contractors were N7.9 billion, pension harmonisation arrears N600 million, while gratuities were in arrears was to the tune of N1.4 billion as of May 2007. He noted that monthly interests on the loans were so high that they depleted the state’s allocation from the Federation Account “which suffered deductions at source for these unwarranted debts.” He said that these debt weighed down heavily on the performance of the governor, Chief Theodore Orji, who in spite of these debts had continued to forge ahead in the development of Abia State. Akerele maintained that most of the bank loans were sourced by Chief Kalu for personal businesses and ingratiation of his hirelings, who now stood behind him in the PPA. He disclosed, that much of the presidential campaign expenses of Chief Kalu in 2007 were sourced from the state coffers, urging the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to gather more information from the state government in order to ensure a conviction of the former governor standing trial. Akerele also advised Governor Orji to open up to the EFCC on his former boss so that an iron cast case could be established against Chief Kalu to nail him once and for all, over his financial recklessness and the plundering of Abia State resources. http://www.saharareporters.com/real-news/frontpage-slideshow/6465--orji-inherited-n29-billion-debt-burden-from-orji-kalu-the-untold-story.html |
