NextGovernor: PDP is rivers. U can't rig PDP into power in Katsina, same way u can't rig APC into power in Rivers. Just less than 15% of APC in Rivers cannot dictate for more than 85% of the PDP populace. Only places you hear about Rivers APC is mostly on pages of Newspaper or TV stations to make Nigerians from other states feel they control majority of the people in Rivers. oga den why is the threats and assassinations all of the state we all believe PDP will win in a free and fair election but for some Unknown reasons Wicked Wike don't want free and fair. |
Politics › Re: BREAKING! Tension As IPOB, MASSOB Order Fulani Herdsmen To Vacate South South An by AlPeter: 8:45pm On Mar 07, 2016 |
hltman: Meantime, a palpable trepidation is rife in the South-East geopolitical zone following yesterday’s warning from the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, directing all Fulani herdsmen engaged in pastoral activities to retreat to the northern part of the country as their safety can longer be guaranteed.
The pro-Biafra groups said it has become imperative for the Fulani herdsmen to leave the region as it can no longer, ”tolerate the systematic killing of our people and invasion of our land in the name of cattle grazing.”
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Enugu yesterday, MASSOB Leader, Uchenna Madu, revealed that it has mobilized its allies to ensure that its directive was heeded.
According to Madu, ”we can no longer tolerate the systematic killing of our people and invasion of our land in the name of cattle grazing. Seventy per cent of Fulani herdsmen in the eastern region are Northern-trained secret army assigned for devastation and secret killing of Biafrans.
“MASSOB in collaboration with IPOB and other affiliates have vowed to protect Biafra land with enthusiastic spirit.
Source :updatengr..com most these guys showcase their stupidity everytime? What's with the 70% of fulani's are trained to kill Biafran's statement? That just took all the credibility out of their actions. |

LordAdam: If you don't understand. Read it again until you understand.
If you still don't understand, do not quote me, because I do not have the time nor the incentive to explain it better to you.
Those in the West have been mum to the issue of Fulani rampage in other regions. It is the turn of other regions to be mum about the rampage in their region. I think that is fair. Give them a dose of their own medicine.
Let them appreciate what it feels like for one's relations to die in the hand of an untouchable group and everything just continues, no one seems concerned as if your relations were rams that were killed on Sallah.
For the Yorubas that died and those that were displaced, sorry oh, but this is Nigeria, your lives are worth zilch. If those in other regions can experience this and you guys expect us to still be patriots, then it is okay for it to happen in your region, and we expect you guys to still be patriots.

In this situation the soldiers were right it was very wrong of them to treat a CAPTAIN in the NA in the manner described Kenai: And who are you going to thank for all the Nigerians the soldiers have massacred? From the women to the infants, peasants to the elderly, young and old? Who are you going to thank for all the defenseless people the soldiers have gone in to murder, in their towns and in the streets, in their homes and in their sleep? Who are you going to thank for all the unaddressed cases where soldiers who are meant to defend us are killing us like rats, and wiping out ENTIRE villages simply because one of their operatives was killed by unidentified people?
You thank these soldiers for this BARBARIC show they put up here? Believe me, I hate the police MORE than you possibly could, but are they wrong in this case? Was the soldier right to have parked at an unauthorised area? People with your attitude encourage dictators, despots and people with zero respect for diplomacy simply because of their posts. Don't let your emotions blind you. The soldiers were WRONG. |

plaetton: Actually, it's when I am engaging with little low self esteem never-do-Wells like you that I feel like a tribalist . This is always the problem with engaging with midget-minded people; they tend to drag me down to their level.
Anyway, for the record, I don't think that your type of tribal jihadism is a Yoruba thing.
It has to do with your own unresolved psychological issues. You and your type just use your Yorubaness to externalize your own emptiness, insecurities , lack of competitive spirit, cowardice and daddy issues buried inside your little psyches. lol......... Pathetic truly pathetic...... First off, I ENGAGED YOU, don't get it twisted, your first post already showed who you are I just pointed it out and you confirmed it in your second post. Secondly, Your bile and self delusion coupled with your tribal bigotry BLINDED you to the fact that I use 'THE YORUBAS' in my earlier post, a clear indication that I AM NOT YORUBA which is another confirmation of my assertion. |

The Bini throne is a Yoruba monarchial and fraternal throne.

OPCNAIRALAND: Bring it here. You dont tell us to research Ile Ife history, do you? You tell it to us as if you are an expert on it.
It's Benin's turn. Bring your history here, tell it, and stop hiding behind macof. No Yoruba person deflects the history of Ife to a non Yoruba to tell. Bini must tell their own history and not deflect to Yoruba's account.
The truth of the matter, if you review threads here in Nairaland is that never has the story of Bini been told without using the greatness of Yoruba civilization as its anchor to shore credits and regal power. Never!
That nonsense is stopping now!
Since you believe you gave Yoruba its civilization and State, tell us your own beginning as a civilized and state power. Go to your beginning.
Where did Igodomigodo come from, who were the indigenes of the land prior, how was the land conquered, how did Ogiso dynasty take root, whats the chain of rulership, whats the structure of state, who were the heroes, the legends, the conquerors, the priests, .....showcase your greatness now or shut up forever and accept what Ooni said, Bini (not Edo) is a Yoruba dynasty.
Yorubas own the title Oba, no other society use Oba but Yorubas. Anywhere you hear Oba, its a Yoruba kingdom and state. Bini never used or use Oba.....you have Omo n'Oba.
You can twist Omo n'Oba into any fanciful meaning you want....but everyone know what Omo means, what Oba means....and they are not stewpid not to know what the combination of Omo and Oba stand for. Oga go and read nobody will take the time and effort to educate an unwilling person like you |

Even among my enlightened friends, they don't feel OK until they find a reason to smear a southeastern public personality.
But southwesterners are fairly enlightened, progressive, proud, accommodating , and experience the same good and bad that every other tribe experiences.
The obsession and paranoi about southeasterners, and with putting down anything Igbo is a mystery that can only be attributed to some psychological issues.
Why can't we move away from the tribal prejudices and politics of our fathers and grandfathers? you know your blind, don't you? The story sounds incredible, but I am going to assume it's true. Firstly, things don't just happen. They never do their are always reasons actions beget reaction, so their most be a reason for her to ask the driver for sex. Secondly your friends mum is acting suspicious wat was a take on the marriage in the first place. If it can be proved that the lady never had anything to do with the driver before the fateful night then I would advise him to keep the lady. I believe in the spiritual and have witnessed a few things. Like I say the mother is my number 1 suspect no Lady is stupid enough to act on the spur like that, something caused it. |

As for Saraki and Atiku, I think Nigerians are too enlightened and informed to allow such characters lead them. They both represent the establishment the average northerners will not vote for any of these two |
