Taurus
Taurus people almost never cheat and are considered the most loyal sign of the horoscope. If a Taurus cheats on you, it means theyfell in love with someone else, it’s not just a random hookup. Like, they would marry the person they cheated on you with, it’s that serious. If they cheat on you, it’s over for you guys. That’s about it. |

Cancers don’t know how to cheat, you’ll find it out right away. You won’t even have to check their phones to find stuff out. They’ll accidentally tell you everything. It will sound something like “It’s crazy how in one day you can go from strangers to lovers with someone”. They’re not talking about you, by the way. Cancers don’t like to cheat though. The reason they cheat is because they’re looking for that one special person. Until they find that person, they won’t stop “looking”, if you know what I mean. |

InvestingExpert: The United States government has revealed how Hushpuppi aided North Korea hackers, a new report has said.
How Hushpuppi Aided North Korea Hackers - United States Govt
The Nigerian posed as a real estate investor and businessman.
A Nigerian social media celebrity extradited from Dubai last year helped North Korean hackers launder money stolen from a Maltese bank, US officials said.
Ramon Olorunwa Abbas played a supporting role in cyber scams perpetrated by three computer programmers accused of extorting more than $1.3 billion of cash and cryptocurrency, the Justice Department said on Wednesday.
Mr Abbas, who is widely known as “Hushpuppi” and is in US custody while awaiting trial, has 2.5 million followers on Instagram where he regularly posted photographs posing with luxury cars or boarding private jets.
How Hushpuppi Aided North Korea Hackers - United States Govt
Police said they targetted Hushpuppi – who apparently led a lavish lifestyle and boasted more than two million social media followers – after he was implicated in a massive cybercrime fraud.
North Korean state operatives “are the world’s leading bank robbers,” John Demers, head of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, said, after revealing the indictment of Jon Chang Hyok, Kim Il and Park Jin Hyok.
As reported by The Nationalnews, the trio and other unidentified North Koreans were involved in the hack of Sony Pictures in 2014 and the attempted theft of about $1bn from Bangladesh’s central bank in 2016, according to the US government.
More recently, the group has focused on stealing cryptocurrencies, according to prosecutors.
The hackers allegedly turned to a network including Mr Abbas “to launder funds from a North Korean-perpetrated cyber-enabled heist” from an unidentified Maltese bank in February 2019.
The Nigerian worked with a Canadian, Ghaleb Alaumary, who US officials accused of organising teams to launder millions of dollars stolen by hacking automated teller machines, including in Pakistan and in India, according to the Justice Department.
Mr Alaumary, 37, began co-operating with US authorities in October 2019 and secretly signed a plea agreement last November, according to court papers unsealed in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Hushpuppi a wanted man
Mr Abbas was extradited in July from Dubai to the US where he faces criminal charges of allegedly conspiring to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from “business email compromise” frauds and other scams.
Gal Pissetzky, Mr Abbas’s former lawyer, told Forbes magazine in July 2020 that he was “absolutely not guilty” of those charges and hadn’t taken part in any fraud. Mr Pissetzky and Mr Abbas’s other lawyer both quit the defence in January.
Hushpuppi was arrested along with 11 others, some of whom are pictured here. Courtesy: Dubai Police / Dubai Media Office The Nigerian was part of a group that allegedly tricked a paralegal at a US law firm into wiring them almost $923,000 in October 2019, according to US authorities.
He and a partner also are accused of plotting to steal £100 million pounds ($125 million) from an unnamed football club in the English Premier League.

VEXT: 20-year-old Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole has died after jumping into the River Thames in a bid to help a woman who fell off London Bridge, in United Kingdom.
The Sun UK reports that Adewole saw the woman fall into the river and jumped in the water along with another man just after midnight on Saturday, April 25. Emergency services, including the coastguard and police marine units, were called to the scene to help all three people who were in the water.
They rescued the woman and one of the men who jumped into the river to help her, but were unable to locate the other. His body was tragically found six hours later.
Jimi was on his way home from work at fine dining restaurant The Cinnamon Club in Westminster when he spotted the woman on the bridge. After seeing her fall into the water he dived in to try and save her, along with his colleague.
Describing what happened, his dad, Michael Adewole, 63, said, “Him and his friend were coming from work together, and they called the police, and saw what was happening. They wanted to help and tried to speak to her but wanted to leave it to the police.
He is a hero, and always will be, I can’t bring him back but I want him to be remembered forever for what he did, it was just like him to want to always try and help others. He would help anyone that needed it. I am proud of my son, he is amazing, but as a family we are devastated. We are just glad the woman is alive too.” : TheSunUK

ogbiwa: Prince Harry and William stood shoulder to shoulder as they appeared in public together for the first time since April to unveil a statue in honour of their mum Princess Diana.
The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex’s troubled relationship is well documented, but their mother was their main focus as they reunited on what would have been her 60th birthday.
The royal brothers made no speeches during the ceremony, but later said in a joint statement: "Today, on what would have been our Mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character - qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.
"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy."
The figure of the princess in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace is surrounded by three children and depicts Diana in the later years of her life.
Kensington Palace said it aims to reflect Diana's "warmth, elegance and energy", while the children represent the "universality and generational impact of the princess's work".
In front of the statue is a paving stone engraved with an extract inspired by the poem The Measure Of A Man: "These are the units to measure the worth of this woman as a woman regardless of birth. Not 'What was her station?' but 'Had she a heart? How did she play her God-given part?"'
It was commissioned by William and Harry in 2017 – the 20th anniversary year of Diana’s tragic death alongside her boyfriend Dodi Fayed during a trip to Paris.
Prince Harry and William last saw each other in April, at the funeral of their grandad Prince Philip.
Following the birth of their daughter Lilibet, Harry's wife Meghan Markle remained in California to look after the newborn and two-year-old Archie.

A Nigerian offshore worker returned to find a huge cucumber hidden in his girlfriend’s cupboard after spending two weeks at work.
The landlady of the apartment that the lovers live in made good her threat by sharing the video of the incident on social media.
According to the distraught boyfriend, he came back from work to discover the huge cucumber wrapped inside a cond*m.
He told the landlady that he had caught the lady with a vibrator before but she denied doing anything with it.
He wondered if that was how she wants to be satisfying herself while always complaining that he does not.
She kept insisting that she doesn’t use the cucumber for anything despite the glaring evidence of cond*m on it.

Education › Re: 8 Personality Traits Of Highly Intelligent People (backed By Science) by AlphaJazz: 8:33pm On Jun 25, 2021 |
nakaman: more than 100 people have answered the question "What are the common traits of highly intelligent people? " Some users claim to know from personal experience; others are just taking an educated guess. As it turns out, many users gave answers that researchers would agree with. We pulled eight of the most intriguing Quora responses and explained the science behind them -- and let's just say that we feel a lot smarter now.
Here's what we learned:
1. They're highly adaptable.
Several Quora users noted that intelligent people are flexible and able to thrive in different settings. As Donna F Hammett writes, intelligent people adapt by "showing what can be done regardless of the complications or restrictions placed upon them."
Recent psychological research supports this idea. Intelligence depends on being able to change your own behaviors in order to cope more effectively with your environment, or make changes to the environment you're in.
2. They understand how much they don't know.
The smartest folks are able to admit when they aren't familiar with a particular concept. As Jim Winer writes , intelligent people "are not afraid to say: 'I don't know.' If they don't know it, they can learn it." Winer's observation is backed up by a classic study by Justin Kruger and David Dunning, which found that the less intelligent you are, the more you overestimate your cognitive abilities.
In one experiment, for example, students who'd scored in the lowest quartile on a test adapted from the LSAT overestimated the number of questions they'd gotten right by nearly 50 percent. Meanwhile, those who'd scored in the top quartile slightly underestimated how many questions they'd gotten right.
3. They have insatiable curiosity.
Albert Einstein reportedly said, "I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious."
Or, as Keyzurbur Alas puts it, "Intelligent people let themselves become fascinated by things others take for granted."
Research published in 2016 suggests there's a link between childhood intelligence and openness to experience -- which encompasses intellectual curiosity -- in adulthood. Scientists followed thousands of people born in the U.K. for 50 years and learned that 11-year- olds who'd scored higher on an IQ test turned out to be more open to experience at 50.
4. They're open-minded.
Smart people don't close themselves off to new ideas or opportunities. Hammett writes that intelligent people are "willing to accept and consider other views with value and broad- mindedness," and that they are "open to alternative solutions."
Psychologists say that open-minded people -- those who seek out alternate viewpoints and weigh the evidence fairly -- tend to score higher on the SAT and on intelligence tests.
At the same time, smart people are careful about which ideas and perspectives they adopt. "An intelligent mind has a strong aversion to accepting things on face value and therefore withholds belief until presented with ample evidence," says Alas .
5. They like their own company.
Richard He points out that highly intelligent people tend to be "very individualistic." Interestingly, recent research suggests smarter people tend to derive less satisfaction than most people do from socializing with friends.
6. They have high self-control.
Zoher Ali writes smart people are able to overcome impulsiveness by "planning, clarifying goals, exploring alternative strategies, and considering consequences before [they] begin." Scientists have found a link between self-control and intelligence. In one 2009 study , participants had to choose between two financial rewards: a smaller payout immediately or a larger payout at a later date. Results showed that participants who chose the larger payout at a later date -- i.e., those who had more self-control -- generally scored higher on intelligence tests. The researchers behind that study say one area of the brain -- the anterior prefrontal cortex -- might play a role in helping people solve tough problems and demonstrate self-control while working toward goals.
7. They're really funny.
Advita Bihani points out highly intelligent people tend to have a great sense of humor. Scientists agree . One study found people who wrote funnier cartoon captions scored higher on measures of verbal intelligence. Another study found professional comedians scored higher than average on measures of verbal intelligence.
8. They're sensitive to other people's experiences.
Smart people can "almost feel what someone is thinking/feeling," says He . Some psychologists argue that empathy, being attuned to the needs and feelings of others and acting in a way that is sensitive to those needs, is a core component of emotional intelligence . Emotionally intelligent individuals are typically very interested in talking to new people and learning more about them. https://www.inc.com/business-insider/8-personality-traits-highly-intelligent-genius-people-share-according-to-science.html Awesome! |

Business › Re: Cryptocurrency Is A Fraud! Be Warned by AlphaJazz: 10:24am On Jun 25, 2021 |
Bitcoiin: JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon took a shot at bitcoin, saying the cryptocurrency "is a fraud."
"It's just not a real thing, eventually it will be closed," Dimon said Tuesday at the Delivering Alpha conference presented by CNBC and Institutional Investor.
Dimon joked that even his daughter bought some bitcoin, looking to cash in on a trend that has seen it soar more than 300 percent this year.
"I'm not saying 'go short bitcoin and sell $100,000 of bitcoin before it goes down," he said. "This is not advice of what to do. My daughter bought bitcoin, it went up and now she thinks she's a genius."
In an appearance at a separate conference earlier in the day, Dimon said bitcoin mania is reminiscent of the tulip bulb craze in the 17th century.
"It's worse than tulip bulbs. It won't end well. Someone is going to get killed," Dimon said at a banking industry conference organized by Barclays. "Currencies have legal support. It will blow up."
Dimon also said he'd "fire in a second" any JPMorgan trader who was trading bitcoin, noting two reasons: "It's against our rules and they are stupid."
Bitcoin fell to its session lows after Dimon's comments. As of 3:01 p.m. in New York, bitcoin traded at $4,106.23, down 2 percent.
Dimon's criticism comes at a time when some of the most well-known figures on Wall Street are starting to embrace the cryptocurrency. Fundstrat's Tom Lee said he sees bitcoin surging to $6,000 next year and value investor Bill Miller reportedly owns bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the 'most crowded trade' right now 11:23 AM ET Tue, 12 Sept 2017 | 00:53
Even Dimon's own bank, JPMorgan, has reportedly begun a trial project using blockchain as it tries to cut trading costs. Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin.
Bitcoin has already soared 315 percent this year.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dimon warned about further declines in trading revenue for the banking giant.
Dimon said third-quarter trading revenue will drop about 20 percent on a year-over-year basis. Dimon also said the bank may not give intra-quarter guidance in the future.
This comes just a day after Citigroup CEO John Gerspach issued a similar warning. On Monday, Gerspach said Citi's trading revenue could fall 15 percent, citing low market volatility.
2017 has been the calmest market in decades. The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX), widely considered the best gauge of fear in the market, hit its lowest level in more than 20 years earlier this year.
The second quarter was also a weak one for JPMorgan's trading unit as revenue fell 14 percent during the period on a year-over-year basis.
Dimon will also be speaking later Tuesday at the Delivering Alpha conference in New York.

Agriculture › Re: Ethiopia: World’s Third‐largest Arabica Coffee Producer by AlphaJazz: 8:07am On Jun 24, 2021 |
BrandSpurNG: Ethiopia is forecast to produce 7.6 million bags (60 kilograms) of Arabica coffee in 2021/22 and is the world’s third‐largest Arabica producer behind Brazil and Colombia. Coffee production is vital to the Ethiopian economy and approximately 15 million people are directly or indirectly involved in the industry. In 2020, coffee exports totalled $800 million and accounted for over 25 percent of total exports. These funds play an important role in the economy because the Ethiopian Birr is not a convertible currency and U.S. dollars are needed for transactions related to imports and other foreign debt obligations.
Coffee is primarily grown in the Oromia Regional State as well as the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region. Within these regions, there are four main cultivation methodologies: forest, semi‐ forest, garden, and plantation. Forest coffee grows wild under the shade of natural forest trees and doesn’t have a defined owner.
In a semi‐forest environment, farmers remove select forest trees to balance the need between shade and sunlight and can claim ownership of the area by pruning and weeding once a year. Garden coffee is typically intercropped in the vicinity of a farmer’s residence and fertilized with organic material. Commercial plantation coffee covers large, well‐defined areas planted by private investors that often use fertilizers and other inputs to increase quality and yield for export markets.
Annual output grew by about 2 percent over the last decade, but yields have been stubbornly stuck around 14 bags per hectare while other top Arabica producers average yields that are 40‐60 percent higher. Improved crop management practices have not been widely adopted because 95 percent of production occurs on non‐commercial plots typically one‐half hectare or less.
Few non‐commercial growers are interested in incurring investment costs due to the informal nature of their growing method, while commercial growers note that 5 to 10 years are needed to realize a return on their investment.
Disease and substitution limit output expansion. Few non‐commercial growers use fungicides despite the presence of coffee berry disease, coffee wilt disease, and root rot disease, causing suboptimal yields.
To mitigate these losses, many farmers are either inter‐cropping coffee with khat or switching entirely to khat due to economic reasons. Khat is a legal stimulant that is relatively resistant to drought, disease, and pests. Also, it can be harvested three or four times a year and commands high prices in neighbouring countries, including Djibouti, Somalia, and Yemen.
Domestic consumption accounts for almost half of output, which is high for a major producing country, with many households consuming coffee two or three times a day. Coffee plays an important role in traditional and cultural gatherings and is consumed during most social occasions.
While away-from-home consumption has increased through the expansion of regular coffee shops, small roadside coffee stalls have become increasingly popular in and around major cities. These informal stalls serve coffee at a discount compared to coffee shops because they do not have the same fixed costs related to taxes, rent, and labour.
Because the stalls are not regulated, they often sell export‐quality coffee even though it is illegal to do so. By law, domestic consumption is limited to lower quality coffee that fails to meet the Ethiopian Commodities Exchange (ECX) export quality standards.
With such strong domestic coffee demand, the Government of Ethiopia is also motivated to adopt policies to increase the volume of exports to generate access to foreign currency. These competing interests sometimes put the Government and consumers at odds.
For example, because Ethiopia has a trade deficit and limited access to foreign currency, coffee traders have exported at a loss to gain access to U.S. dollars. These are then used to import products such as construction materials and vehicles to sell at much higher rates of return. In 2019, the Government made it illegal to sell coffee below the international price to remove this distortion from the economy.
The following year, the Coffee and Tea Authority coordinated with the National Bank of Ethiopia to establish the Export Coffee Contract Administration directive, which fixes a minimum coffee export price based on a global weighted average.
The Government has implemented other reforms to address challenges within the coffee sector. For example, the ECX was established in 2008 to reduce price volatility and incentivize farmers to plant coffee. However, its structure did not allow coffee traceability because deliveries were comingled into anonymous lots of standard grades, losing the ability to sell identity-preserved coffee.
Open dialogue between the Government and private sector identified this issue that was keeping participants from certifying coffee as organically grown, resulting in a series of reforms in 2017 that reestablished traceability to the washing station.
As Ethiopia moves forward with these reforms, it remains to be seen whether these actions result in rising production and trade.

BrandSpurNG: Oil prices shot up on Monday as bullish sentiment around demand took hold, but in early trading on Tuesday, prices were slightly down on news that OPEC+ might start increasing production. “Reports that OPEC+ is already discussing, ahead of its scheduled meeting, to increase its output from August indicates that the demand-supply gap is already becoming an issue and that the alliance is working on a plan to tap that deficit,” Louise Dickson of Rystad Energy said in a statement. “The OPEC+ chatter to raise supply is the most bearish risk for the recent oil price rally, which has been propelled on strong summer demand and an overall conservative supply environment.”

Sixta: How would you feel when you enter a room where you are supposedly supposed to be safe and then you realise that your privacy is being infringed on? I am sure you won’t feel safe and secured.
One of the reasons why I made the personal search to identify if someone is playing smart on me by hiding cameras in a room is because I have been a victim before. Once beaten, twice shy!!
In this world where we have smart recording devices and pinhole sized drones, there is a need to be vigilant and to always check if your privacy is being trampled upon. Below are ways to avoid being recorded or photographed secretly:
1. The first thing to do when you enter a room and you are being suspicious, is to turn off the lights in the room.
2. If there are curtains in the room, close them.
3. Open your phone camera and do not turn the flash light on. Turn around the room with your cellphone. When a red dot is found on your screen, that means that a hidden web camera is installed.
4 . If no red dots, then the room is okay. Take note some people have the habit of sleeping stark naked As simple as this is, it can save you from a social media blackmail or a business contract betrayal.

Family › Re: Black British Girls Most Likely To Self Harm by AlphaJazz: 5:24am On Jun 23, 2021 |
Pg1. 2016 I acceed to the fact that black girls are more susceptible to self-harm than black men due to the emotional fragility of females. But I do not believe that black girls have numerical superiority over black men as regards who is more prone to having a mental illness(es)—I think we are on an equal playing ground in that department.
As this article says, the stigma that we unwittingly attach to mental illnesses and people living with depression is the main reason why people shirk from paying timely visits to a therapist—a move that could have proactively stymied the chances of ugly and very avoidable disaster(s) from making it to the surface—but would rather choose to live in self-denial, which by the way is the first stage of sadness according to the Kübbler-Ross Model. The second being Anger, followed by Bargaining, and then Depression, and then Acceptance.
If one is unable to segue successfully from depression into acceptance, then it leads to self-harm, self-hate, sadism, suicide and many other 'unputdownables'.
I remember Kevin Hart saying this in Central Intelligence when his wife asked that they see a marriage counsellor: "We ain't seeing no therapist, baby!. Black people don't see no therapist. When we are sad we take our problems to the Barber's shop or watch the movie 'Barber Shop
That up there is pretty much the sum and substance of this article. |

Celebrities › Re: Rihanna Officially Becomes The World’s Richest Female Musician by AlphaJazz: 10:55pm On Jun 22, 2021 |
brownnikky16: It’s no secret that Rihanna wears many hats. On top of being a singer, actress, beauty mogul, and most recently, a fashion designer, the 31-year-old multihypenate can now say that she is officially the world’s highest paid female in the music industry.
In Forbes‘ annual list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women for 2019, Rihanna topped the list as the highest paid woman in the music industry, estimating her worth to be $600 million.
The publication stated that good portion of Rihanna’s wealth was acquired through her lucrative partnership with luxury good company, LVMH, with whom she launched her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line with in 2017. Since Fenty Beauty’s inception, Forbes reported that the cosmetics line has earned Rihanna $570 million in just 15 months of business.
Along with Fenty Beauty, Rihanna has expanded her prowess to clothing, creating her Savage x Fenty lingerie brand with Tech Style Fashion Group and starting her recent foray into high-end clothing with Fenty, alongside LVMH.
“They extended the offer to me and it was a no-brainer because LVMH is a machine,” Rihanna said of her clothing line to The New York Times Style Magazine. “Bernard Arnault was so enthusiastic; he trusted me and my vision.” The clothing line, which launched on May 22, is anticipated to expand her wealth.
The esteemed honor places Rihanna ahead of many of her peers within the music industry. Madonna came second behind Rihanna, who was reported to be worth $570 million, while Celine Dion ($450 million), Beyoncé ($400 million), and Taylor Swift ($360 million) round out the top five richest women in music.

Business › Re: How Small Businesses Are Taking The Hit On Twitter Ban by AlphaJazz: 4:18pm On Jun 22, 2021 |
maximunimpact: Some small businesses that rely on Twitter for survival are finding it tough to cope as a result of the indefinite suspension imposed on the operation of the micro blogging site by the Federal Government.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JE Stores, Jadesola Praise, said her sales had dipped since the ban was imposed because she depends on the platform to reach her customers.
According to her, JE Stores is a virtual shop that deals in unisex wears, sneakers, bags, slides, writs watches and others with nationwide delivery.
“My sales have been affected. I am hopeful that the government and Twitter will reach an agreement soon so that the nightmare will come to and end,” she said.
Also, a Lagos-based entrepreneur, Ogechi Egemonu, said she was selling more than N500,000 worth of watches, shoes and handbags on Twitter weekly.
Now, with the site suspended by the government, Egemonu does not know how she will cope.
“Social media is where I eat. I depend on social media for my livelihood,” she told Reuters.
Praise and Egemonu are few of the several small, medium enterpriseses (SMEs) in the country that have been affected by the indefinite suspension of the micro-blogging platform.
The Federal Government had on June 4, announced the “indefinite” suspension of Twitter over “the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”. It came days after the platform President Muhammadu Buhari’s post threatening to punish secessionist agitators.
He said that a “sizeable number of citizens” use Twitter to make a living.
Parliament’s minority caucus warned the suspension was costing Nigerians “billions of naira on a daily basis.”
Dumebi Iyeke, a research analyst with the Financial Derivatives Company, said it would hit young Nigerians – among whom there is a 45 per cent unemployment rate – the hardest.
“We are looking at a potential loss in their revenue,” Iyeke said, adding that it could further lower living standards amid high inflation.
Information Minister Lai Mohammed last week said that all social media sites must register a local entity and get a license to operate. He cited complaints over lost money as proof that the ban was effective, but said other sites are still available.
“Section 2(1) r of the NBC Act entrusts the Commission with responsibility to ensure strict adherence to the national laws, rules and regulations,” the DG said.
“Section 3.11.2 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code provides that ‘the broadcaster shall ensure that law enforcement is upheld at all times in a matter depicting that law and order are socially superior to or more desirable than Crime and Anarchy.”
“Attention is also drawn to section 5.6.3 of The Code which requires Broadcasters to be mindful of materials that may cause disaffection, incite to panic or rift in the society in the use of a user generated Content (UGC).
“Note that it will be unpatriotic for any broadcaster in Nigeria to continue to patronise the suspended Twitter as a source of its information therefore strict compliance is enjoined.”
