AmazingGenius: How a Nigerian entrepreneur built a $200k Warehouse in the U.S, then made it free for African Exporters
It started with a dream and a problem. Mr. Nduka Udeh, a seasoned Nigerian entrepreneur and export consultant, had spent over a decade helping African businesses export their products to the USA and beyond.
He saw the incredible talent and quality that Nigerian entrepreneurs had to offer the world, from packaged foods and handmade crafts to beauty products and ready-to-wear fashion but with their brilliant products that never made it past their local markets. After interaction with over 5,000 business, he saw a huge issues that most exporters faced.
Every week, Nduka received calls and messages from frustrated exporters:
“Customs seized my goods again.” “The shipping cost and delays is taking all my profit.” “I can’t get buyers abroad.” “I’m stuck with getting the documents to export”
He heard it so often, he could predict the pain in their voices before they said a word, and he knew something had to change, so he came up with a solution that:
1. Set up a warehouse that will allow for cheaper and faster distribution of African products to end users.
2. Give them access to local delivery options that will get their products to their buyers abroad in 1-3 business days without issues and at a fraction of international shipping costs.
3. Provide them with lower international shipping via Ocean and then store the products for distribution in the warehouse, there by saving them over 60% on shipping cost to the final customer.
4. Leverage the warehouse to help them get more buyers for their products all over the USA and beyond.
In 2025, Nduka did something most people wouldn’t dare, he invested over $200,000 of his own money to set up a world-class warehouse in Delaware, USA. Not for himself, but for every Nigerian exporter, shopper, and diaspora entrepreneur who wanted a better path to the global market.
A Warehouse with a Mission
The new Delaware warehouse wasn’t just a building; it is a game changer for businesses.
This strategic facility, built under the African Import Export Solutions brand (www.africanies.com) , is now positioned to serve as the gateway for thousands of Nigerian products entering the U.S. market from processed food, cosmetics, fashion, art & craft, and more. For years, Nigerian exporters have struggled with high shipping costs, product seizures, long delivery timelines, and a lack of affordable storage space in the United States. This new warehouse is changing that narrative.
It offers something exporters had only dreamed about:
1. 90 days of warehousing for just $1.
2. Save over 60% on regular shipping cost.
3. Fast delivery to your buyers in 1–3 days.
4. Full insurance & guaranteed custom clearance.
5. Easy to use inventory management software Shipping from USA to Nigeria in 3-5 days.
6. Also, perhaps most importantly: peace of mind, No more seizures, No more “funny stories”.
Just a reliable, transparent solution built by someone who understood their pain.
Why Delaware? Why Now?
Delaware is one of the few states in the U.S. with zero sales tax and with easy access to the highly populated east coast of the USA.
Why the East Coast – Delaware unlike other locations such as Houston or Atlanta allows 30 minutes to 3 hours dispatch of any product to locations with a high population of Nigerians and Africans. It is just a stone throw from highly populated locations such as New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Pensylvania, Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia and many other . This means that Nigerian and African businesses can now spend less when dispatching products from this warehouse to hundreds of African stores and buyers in the east coast.
Why A Zero Sales Tax Location – That means if you shop from Amazon, Walmart, Shein, or any U.S. store using the Delaware address, you pay no tax, saving up to 10% instantly.
For Nigerian shoppers and importers, that’s a huge win.
1. You get original but cheaper products from various stores in the USA.
2. Shop TAX free and increase your profit.
3. Enjoy fast delivery with very low shipping cost.
4. We also help you buy from various USA stores.
5. Guaranteed delivery without custom issues.
6. Flexible payment options that allows you shop with your naira card.
Whether you’re sending goods to resell in Nigeria or managing an Amazon business from home, this warehouse changes everything.
“This warehouse was built for us, for the businesses, the manufacturers, the exporters trying to put African products on global shelves,” Mr. Nduka said.
And he means business. Here’s how this warehouse is helping exporters thrive:
1. 90 Days Warehousing in the USA for just $1
Exporters can now send their goods in bulk and store them in the U.S. for up to 90 days —almost free. This allows sellers to ship ahead of demand, manage inventory locally, and fulfill U.S. orders faster than ever.
Whether you’re selling on Amazon, to African stores, or directly to consumers across the States, this gives you a powerful logistics edge without burning a hole in your pocket.
2. Save Over 60% on Shipping
As an exporter, this warehouse saves you over 60% of your regular shipping cost to your buyers. You ship in bulk, store your items at our warehouse, and we deliver to your buyers at faster and at the lowest rate.
With AfricanIES, exporters can ship in bulk for as low as $350/CBM via ocean freight and N11,500/kg via air to the USA
3. No U.S. Sales Tax — Big Savings for Online Shoppers
The Delaware location was chosen deliberately because it is one of the few U.S. states with zero sales tax. That means Nigerians shopping from U.S. websites like Amazon, Walmart, and Shein can now ship their orders to the Delaware warehouse, avoid sales tax (up to 10% in other states), and consolidate their packages before shipping home.
This is a massive win for Nigerian shoppers, resellers, and group shoppers.
4. Fast, Reliable Delivery With Full Insurance
Exporters using the Delaware warehouse enjoy fast, insured, and hassle-free delivery anywhere in the U.S. or back to Nigeria. We track and handle all shipments with customs-compliant documentation, ensuring no seizures, delays, or surprise charges.
5. Access New Buyers and Boost Revenue
The real power of this warehouse isn’t just logistics, it’s access. Exporters can now break into the U.S. market confidently, with a local presence and fulfillment center to support them. Buyers trust faster deliveries, lower shipping costs, and domestic handling, and now, Nigerian sellers can compete on the same level.
AfricanIES also helps exporters get the necessary FDA, NAFDAC, and customs certifications so their goods never get rejected.
Meet the Man Behind the Movement
Mr. Nduka Udeh is not your average exporter. He’s a certified export coach, a U.S.-trained compliance expert, and the founder of African Import Export Solutions a company that has helped over 10,000 businesses register with the trainings, documentations, logistics and all the support they need to build a successful export business.
“My passion is to help businesses in Africa access the US market by easily pushing their products on Amazon, all over USA stores, and thousands of distributors all over the USA. This is my mission, and together we will increase the wealth of Africa” He said
Now, through his Delaware facility, he’s offering African exporters a platform they can trust. One that’s built by someone who understands the real struggles and offers real solutions.
Who Is This For?
This warehouse is for you if: 1. You are an exporter who wants to reduce there shipping cost and increase profits
2. You’re an online shopper tired of paying U.S. sales tax and high cost
3. You’re an exporter who wants faster delivery to your buyers
4. You’re a reseller, importer, or diaspora entrepreneur
5. Or you just want a simple, affordable way to move goods across borders
A New Era for Nigerian Exporters
Mr. Nduka Udeh’s[b] $200,000 investment is more than a building, it’s a bold signal that Africa is ready for the global market. He’s proving that you don’t need to be a giant to enter global markets. You just need the right systems, the right support, and the right team behind you.
In every business, you have to start small. So pick the commodities that are not capital intensive. A few kgs of Bitterkola, vegetables, onions, etc.
Raw Cashew Nut (RCN) is capital intensive. Even the big boys can't do 100tons. 100tons is about 180,000usd or more if the order is CNF and a little more with insurance (CIF).
Forget about letter of credit (confirmed or not), you still can't achieve anything with it without a collateral. Even with a transferrable LC, you still need money to transfer an LC.
From the tone of your chat, you are still a greenhorn.
You need experience to approach BOI as well.
Have you done any export before, obviously no. But you want to start with RCN, lol.
The big boys don't even have a website, they prosper on referrals.
Boy, raise 100k and start with few kgs. Visit the source of the commodity you want to export. Most of you just sit opposite the PC thinking everything will come to you. Visit NAHCO to get quotes because those few kgs will go via air.
Samantha125: 5. Shaun Oosthuizen, Sheila Mandylin Vorster, and John Du Plooy, the granny killers
It all started in an area called Munsieville in the Gauteng province, the area is believed to be a predominantly white squatter camp area... I don't know what you guys call squatter camps in Nigeria, but I think they're called shanty towns, if I'm not mistaken... There were news of elderly Afrikaners getting evicted from a place called Coronation park, the owner of they land had agreed that they could stay there under the conditions that they pay a certain fee, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a monthly or yearly fee.
But over they years, the elderly Afrikaners who had been living there for years decided to breach their side of the agreement by stop paying for the fee while they only kept increasing in their numbers... They had inhabited the area in their caravans... The owner of the land then decided to have them evicted from the land and they were moved to Munsieville, for those who thought we didn't have white South Africans who lived in informal settlements like black South Africans, weelll!!! Sorry to burst your bubble, but we do... Makes me wonder why our so called "masters" are not helping their own because according to some people, there's no such a thing as a poor White South African, that poverty is only reserved for us "lazy" black South Africans... Hmmm, but that's the story for another day..😏😏😏
It happened that Shaun moved to the area around the same as time those elderly Afrikaners evicted from Coronation park to the Munsieville area and he heard of how some good Samaritans were making some donations for those elderly people, so he decided that he was going to use that opportunity to his advantage... He and his accomplices would then start going to retirement homes under the guise of coming to collect donations for the elderly people in Munsieville, once the guard lets them in, they'd then start randomly knocking on the elderly residents' doors asking for either water or to use the toilet.
Once the elderly women let them in, they'd gag, tie them, and beat them up... They'd then rob them of their valuables... I don't know why the guards never verified their stories before letting them in... They'd later be arrested after their third murder, but they were unfortunately granted bail and despite the lieutenant who was working on the case opposing their bail application, the magistrate still went ahead and granted them bail... And within few weeks of their release, they decided to resume with their killing spree... They went on to kill three more elderly women before they were once again caught and this time they were refused bail until they were convicted and sentenced.
fxbot: Introverts are regarded as the least deserving in a world where everyone, at least most, give more preference to an extrovert. It wouldn’t be out of place to find out that people tend to view introverts as less worthy and not smart.
Introverts have the loudest mind but quiet on the outside. Today, I will give you top 10 reasons why you should date an introvert. 1.Focused: Introverts are very focused and less likely to be distracted by noises of the world. They only go after what they want and get it done. An introvert daily routine is like this: home>>>work>>>home. Or Home>>>Work>>>Church>>>Home. It is that simple. But if you want someone whose routine is like this: Home>>>friends>>>club>>> bar>>>home at the wee hours, that is your prerogative.
2. Communicative: Introverts are good listeners, compassionate and understanding. They would rarely speak until you have finished speaking. This is because they want to understand you so that they can know how best to tackle the issue. When given a chance, they know exactly how to proffer solutions to the matter.
3. Intelligent and Smart: You know, I laugh most times when people term an introverts as though they were subhuman or a misfit of the society. If you are looking for one of the smartest and intelligent set of people on earth, introverts will make sizable portion of the group. They don’t just believe in being too lousy. The average introvert is like a spy camera hiding at the corner of a room and recording every event without much fanfare—very observant! Because they spend most their thinking over events around them, they are most likely to study your body language, such that it enable them discern their relationship; when they speak, they make sure they have something very important to say.
4. True Lovers: It amazes me when I hear words like: “does true love exist?” or “true love does not exist”. Normally, introverts are very conscious of whom they give their trust to. If you are looking for someone who can truly love you wholly, your best bet lies with an introvert, especially if they trust you. If an introvert is in love with you or at best trust you, they could give you the world without thinking twice.
They can make you imagine if you were acting a romance movie because their creative romantic gestures is often out of this world; they like to give surprise. Introverts are good with romantic words that are magical and powerful.
But you MUST not betray their love for you or make a fool of them. Otherwise, you will never regain 0.0000000001% of the love they once had for you previously.
5. Reliable and Dependable: Introverts are one of the most trustworthy set of people on earth. You can always be sure that they won’t let you down. If you ever doubt any one, do not doubt the reliability of an introvert. You can often pin point what they are doing at a place or what they could be doing, even without your presence.
6. Better Father: No doubt about this one, because of their aforementioned attributes as a loving, caring and compassionate personality, they, more often than not, tend to make a great and awesome father for their kids. An introverted father would often love his kids with all his heart.
7. No Party: It’s the general nature of an introvert to avoid being in a crowded place because such tend to absorb their energy while being in isolation tend to invigorate them. Because of this, introverts do not like being in company of crowded people and by extension, they do not like going to parties. They would rather spend time reading or learning something new.
8. Sacrifice: Introverts, being the compassionate kind of people on earth, make sacrifices for the beloved ones. Most times this sacrifices can be to their own detriments wherein they become the one that lose while the other party gain from their own lose. What’s more surprising is that they do not really care as long as it makes the other person happy (They are happy). But never make them feel like an idiot for making such sacrifices because the resultant of that would be better imagined than experienced.
9. Hardly Get Angry: It is quite typical for an introvert not to get angry over most offence committed against them. It’s not unusual for an introvert to smile over your offence. That’s just whom they are or how they have been wired. The most they would do is pat you on the back and tell you that it’s okay.
10. Don’t cheat: Introverts hardly ever cheat on their partner because they are often contented with whatever they have. Besides, because they rarely speak to people, in case of a man, you can be very sure that the lady sitting beside him wont get his attention. He would rather spend that time reading a book or surfing the internet to learn one or two things.
stagger: Yes, they are very hardy. Mine used to lay 10 eggs average at a go with more than 80% hatching rates. No vaccines, no meds. They are always on the move.
ogbongenet: Crossbreed chicken 🐔 ( Noiler and Fulani progeny🐓) are available for sale...

Their ridiculous charges is a sign that they know nothing about farming. If they do, them suppose pity farmers small. If he's leasing an acre for 200k, can a farmer realize a gross sale of 200k from selling a fresh corn from one acre in the South?
If the land has a thick vegetation, land prep (clearing, packing/burning,ploughing,) alone can gulp up to 100k per acre. Cost of treatments/maintenance: herbicides, insecticides, seed, etc all of them dey there. If not for the current inflation in the price of farm products/ food, few years ago, a ton of cassava sold less than 20k and u can only get an average of 7 tons of the tuber from an acre.

skydeep: “Girls have an unfair advantage over men: if they can’t get what they want by being smart, they can get it by being dumb.”- Yul Brynner
Are you too smart for your own good? It has never been scientifically proven that men prefer beauty over brains. What we do know is that even the smartest women do some dumb things when it comes to love. Being intelligent is definitely a quality to be proud of but it’s only useful in dating when applied correctly.
In dating it’s more important that you’re friendly, kind, funny, attentive and genuine than a Rhodes scholar.
Being intelligent when it comes to men isn’t the about your comprehensive knowledge of nuclear physics or finance; it’s about a complete understanding of one subject, him. If you’re smart about men, you’ll realize that there are better ways to display your intelligence than what I see some doing in the dating world today.
If you’re an intelligent woman and you have the documents to prove it, good for you but being smart about men isn’t the same as being book smart.
1.Thinking you shouldn’t be beautiful. The stigma in the world today is that beauty and brains don’t go together. Just because a lot of so-called beautiful women act dumb in pop culture doesn’t mean being smart means being ugly. Caring about what you look like isn’t the ultimate betrayal of feminism or an insult to female intelligence. Feeling beautiful is an essential part of being a woman. Don’t make the mistake of making your looks trivial or secondary. Be the complete package.
Thinking you have to prove your point A big mistake so-called “intelligent” women make is constantly feeling the need to prove their point. Successful flirting is largely based on how you make a man feel. If you’re hammering your point home and drilling it into your date that you’re right and he’s wrong instead of seeming smart you’ll seem mean. If your date makes a statement that you disagree with or you know for a fact isn’t true don’t make it a big deal. You’re smart enough to know that you don’t need to see him again if he isn’t a fit. When you are asked to share your opinion the abridged version, not the dissertation you wrote on the subject, keep in mind being right doesn’t make you smarter. You may come across as smart but you won’t come across as fun. Don’t make the mistake of getting into heated debates or having to be right with a man you don’t know that well. He probably isn’t worth the energy and you’ll come across like the bully.
Thinking that smarter means better. If you want to make a woman who is a six look like an eleven talk about her in front of a man. Putting another women down who seems less intelligent than you really only makes you look like the dumb one. It’s negative, it’s un-ladylike, it’s pretentious and it’s judgmental. It doesn’t matter if you come across a woman who doesn’t have two brain cells to rub together, talking about it makes you seem intimidated by her. Praise other women. Find something good to say even when the man is bating you to say something catty. Don’t play, that game. Don’t make the mistake of judging other women based on what you think you know. – You’re too smart for that.

EvergreenDiarie: Are We Witnessing the Fall of the U.S. Dollar? | Global Currency Shift Explained 💵
In this video, we dive deep into the growing concerns surrounding the global shift away from the U.S. dollar as the world’s dominant reserve currency. As major economies explore alternative trading systems and the BRICS nations push for de-dollarization, what does this mean for global markets, geopolitics, and your wallet?
No doubt, the USD is gonna run into headwinds as the world's reserve currency with the shifts in global alliance and the overbearing influence of the United States especially under the current POTUS.
EvergreenDiarie: A passionate Yoruba man raises alarm and calls on Yoruba lawmakers to take immediate action! In this emotional plea, he demands that indigenous leaders protect Lagos land from being sold to non-indigenous buyers. As concerns grow over the future of Yoruba heritage and ownership in Lagos State, this video sheds light on a deepening crisis affecting culture, identity, and community rights.
But it MUST be emphasized that All the lands these people claim to buy are actually on lease (rented land) and at the end of the lease period, the lands will be returned to the families that ORIGINALLY own the lands if they do NOT renew the lease.
Therefore, any mansion or whatever building is still standing on the lands will he demolished and the Yoruba families that own the rented or leased lands can do whatever they want to do with it.
Ugandatales: There is power in what we say, and what we think. They both affect our lives in ways we can't even imagine. With this write up, I will like to focus more on the power of words. You always have to watch what you say, because, eventually, they might become your reality. Even if you don't believe the words you saying, if you repeat the words long enough, you are subconsciously going to start believing it...and like the American philosopher, Williams James said, "believe, and your belief will actually create the fact."
This is the power of the mind that the mass media, and propagandists know. That's why they are always ready to pay big money for advertisement. If they tell you a certain brand of noodles is the best, at first, you might overlook the ad, but when you keep seeing that advertisement over and over, subconsciously, you start to believe it is the best, and then when next you go out, and you find yourself in a supermarket, or provisions shop, you ask for that particular noodles. I just used noodles as example, but it is the same with everything.
When I first discovered this, I decided to use it to my advantage. It was about 14 years ago, smartphones had just become a thing, and I wanted to get a particular Samsung phone which cost 12k at the time. So, I got a jotter, and I started writing this words "I easily, and effortlessly attract, 12,000 Naira." I would write it 30 times in the morning, stop, put the jotter away, then in the afternoon, and night, I would write it 30 times again. I had read somewhere that it took 21 days to build a new habit, so I believed it would take about that time for this lie to become a truth in my life.
The third day, I was cleaning my room when I saw a brown leather female purse...it belonged to my cousin, who had come to spend the holidays with us from America. Before traveling back, she was seriously looking for that purse, but couldn't find it. I opened it and saw mint 200 naira notes...totaling 1,000 Naira. I was like, WOW! This stuff actually works. Yes, it was just 1k, but this was a great start.
I was more excited to keep writing the affirmations. Day, afternoon, night. Around the 7th day, I got 5k sent to me through my sister, from my other sister that doesn't live with us. I was super excited...Now, I had 6k, and needed 6k left. But for the next 10 days, nothing happened again. I was disappointed, but kept writing. By the beginning of the 21st day, my brother called me and asked me to come to his office. When leaving, he gave me 8k. I was super excited...he didn't even understand why I was so excited. I went straight to Computer village, and got that Samsung Colby for 12k, and was left with some change to buy yoghurt on my way home.
That was the first time I used this technique to attract money, but it wasn't the last. The thing though was, when I tried it the next time after the first time, i got no positive results. And the next time after that, nothing again...But because it had worked for me the first time, I kept trying. Over the years, I would get positive results, some times, but some times, nothing would happen. I wanted to understand why this was so, I started reading articles, books, and watching countless Youtube videos on the power of the subconscious mind, human potential, human psychology. I was so buried in this research that my mom would some times come into my room to beg me to go out.
It took me about ten years to finally understand what I missing in the whole equation. You see, you will eventually always get positive results, but it might take a while, depending on how long it takes for you to believe you can actually get that money. But, there is something in man that can quicken that time if you have it in abudance, and if you're low on that fuel, it will take forever for you to get that thing you want, or you won't even get it at all. What is that fuel? SEXUAL ENERGY.
All men naturally have sexual energy...some have it higher than others, but we all have it. The more you let it build up and not waste it, the faster you will get what you want. And the more you deplete it through too much sex or too much faping/self serving, the more frustrated you will be, because you might never get that thing you are looking for. This is not about morals, or religion, this is just how man was made.
I have used this method to attract hundreds of thousands of Naira over the years, and I know it is very possible, as long as you know exactly what you want, if it is money, write the particular amount on a jotter over and over, and over, and over (the way I described it earlier), and the more you write, and keep away from sexual activities for that period, I guarantee, you will start seeing positive results within days, and you will eventually get to your goal.
One thing I have to say, don't let people see the jotter you write the affirmations in, because naturally, people would make fun of you, and it would affect your belief of this.
Baselm: False. The Yorubas of Kwara and Kogi DO NOT wear red caps traditionally.
I stated that parts of Yorubaland in Kogi and Kwara wear red chieftaincy cap. The veteran investigative journalist, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju of TVC and the co-anchor of the internationally popular Journalists Hangout comes from a Yoruba community in Kogi State where red chieftaincy caps are worn. He received a chieftaincy title from his traditional ruler and it was shown CLEARLY on TVC a few years back. A few Yoruba communities too wear that red chieftaincy cap. Chief Sunday Awoniyi from Kogi State who was the FIRST EVER Yoruba man to become the Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum back in the 2000s also wore that red chieftaincy cap. Chief Awoniyi's son was the architect 'Yomi Awoniyi who once served as a Deputy Governor of Kogi State. So, head on over to read more and get your facts right. The over 80 million people of Yorubaland stretching from the Yoruba-speaking parts of Nigeria, to Benin Republic and parts of Togo (Atakpame region) do NOT have a monolithic culture BUT there are slight regional differences in dialects, cultural practices and foods eaten just like every other major cultural group on Earth. Parts of Yorubaland ALSO have different Yoruba names for the same thing. An example is the Yoruba beans delicacy called "Moyin-Moyin" (sometimes shortened in recent years to "Moin-Moin" with the letter "Y" being silent) which is ALSO called "Olele" in Yoruba with both words referring to the same thing. The walnut is called "Awusa" or "Asala" in Yoruba language. Aso-Oke itself is ALSO called Aso-Ofi which is worn by the highly placed in the society.
Other parts of Yorubaland may NOT have the traditional of wearing the red chieftaincy cap BUT Yoruba-speaking parts of Kwara and Kogi States do.
bigpicture001: Go check it history, in 1903, yorubas are not known to wear their regalia... They dnt even wear clothes..
So do hausa, tiv , Noni etc.. no one in Africa created the clothes they now call culture clothes.. everyone got it from Somewhere, so if Reno keeps fooling himself with senseless tweet because he knows that slaves will always click, they I dnt blame Reno, instead I blame his slave followers...
Hey! STOP that disinformation right there. There are several pictures taken before 1900 showing that Yorubas wore cloths and weaved their cloths. Most of the Yoruba women largely tied wrappers around their bodies BUT did NOT were the upper buba in those archival photo materials I saw. The economically and militarily strong Oyo Empire going back to several centuries had cloth weavers with vast numbers of looms which they exported to nearby Kingdoms through long-distance trading which Oyo Empire engaged in.
Indeed, one of the European explorers who visited or passed through the Oyo Empire in the 17th century stated in one of the advanced history books that the woven fabric made by the Yoruba weavers was STRONGER and more durable that Manchester cloth. If I get the exact title of the history book, I will update my post. The Whites meticulously kept records of their travels in archives so we know what they saw from first-hand knowledge.
However, some ethnic groups did NOT wear clothes like the Koma people of Old Gongola and even the Ibo interior tribes where half-clotged with many photograph even right after 1900 in Udi hills now in Enugu State showing males wearing just loin cloth and women NOT covering their breasts and using ONLY a loin cloth to just cover their lower private parts. It was the same with Ibo men as described ALSO by Chinua Achebe in his books.
So, based on cultural exposures going back to centuries, advanced African societies and ethnic groups wore cloths while some others who the Governor General of Nigeria and Ghana, Sir Allan Burns in his popular book entitled: "The History of Nigeria" CLEARLY called "primitive African societies" who wore little to NO cloths, engaged in cannibalism or eating human beings, and did not form advanced civilizations like the Benin Empire, the Oyo Empire, the Kanem-Borno Kingdom, the Ashanti Empire, etc.
Goodvibes007: Even the red cap originated from Europe. The British gave it to them to distinguish their chiefs from their commoners.
Please NOTE these historical facts!
The red chieftaincy cap is ORIGINALLY of Middle Belt of Nigeria origin and was brought from Igalaland where it was ORIGINALLY introduced into the Nsukka area from where it spread to other parts of the South East of Nigeria that didn't even come under the influence of the Igala Kingdom and culture like Anambra, Enugu, and parts of Delta North such as Asaba, Okpanam, etc.
The other parts of the Middle Belt of Nigeria ALSO CLEARLY wear the red chieftaincy cap from the Yorubas of Kwara and Kogi States, Ebiras and Igalas of Kogi State and outside Kogi State, the Jukuns, etc.
So, the red chieftaincy cap is NOT originally indigenous to the sub-tribes now collectively known as Ibos east of river Niger.
