@all,
Thank God for all He has done. It is our season truly. @Pinky, I dey happy for you o, confirm say no be three sef o. cheesy

Reading the book of 1st Samuel, chapter 9, we see the story of the animals that Saul went to search for because they were lost and they searched around but there was no result, till Saul's servant advised him to inquire from the Lord through His servant Samuel and not only were the asses found very easily, but God had commanded Samuel to annoint Saul as king. Today, let us consider that God may be trying to get some people's attention for some special work. Inquire from Him first and He will supply all you may have been looking for.

Judges 14:14
And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.

This was the riddle posed by Samson to some young men in the bible and though the young men deceitfully got the answer, I still thought about it.
A lion carcass became a hive for bees to the extent that Samson could even get honey to eat from it. Does this not sound so strange? That 'lion' that may scare you today can become your honeypot tomorrow. That place that people have said nothing good will come out of it may turn out to be a source of sweetness.
Isaiah 45:3 says I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places...

this is the pride that puts me off. Just say you can't find a passage to defend your point. I've searched everywhere love came up in the new testament. There is no love your neighbour as yourself after Christ instituted the new one.

Just say Ayo i disagree with you. No need to sound esoteric like there's one ghen ghen holy spirit that shows only you how the new covenant still operates the law of the old
The only pride as see is not willing to search the scriptures yourself. I have personally seen 2 exactly saying so and as I said before, do your search yourself for I will not for you. I am not sure I have said anything wrong in that.
If you call my asking you 'to search the scriptures yourself' to find it as pride, then there is nothing more to say. When you see it then we will know who is proud, I do not go about making claims for the fun of it.

Bidam:

Lol, there is no need arguing over these issues, i understand clearly what Alwaystrue is saying. She is not promoting the mosaic laws here but making you see that the WORD(LAW) and the Spirit go together. You can't operate only in the spirit alone and say you don't need the word of God.

The corinthian Churches fell into all kinds of problems when they operated only by the Spirit.

The Spirit always have to agree with the Word.Paul had to write to them some set of instructions on marriage,Morals, givings worship, celibacy, etc. Quoting the same mosaic laws you are kicking against here. But in this case Paul was able to inteprete accurately by the help of the Holy Spirit the mind of God on the Law, unlike the pharisees who only see the letters and not the Spirit behind it.
@Bidam, Lol. I tell you. I have maintained what I have been saying since, so surprising people still do not understand it. I am glad you understand me clearly...That is why I thought understanding the three that bear witness on earth being the Spirit, Water (Word) and the Blood had been understood. These 3 AGREE!
We discern every spirit by the word of God.
This same Paul quoted Moses copiously but He had to explain it with the eyes of the Spirit not just of the letter. Jesus did this first by giving us Spirit of the Word.

ayoku777: You believe Jesus came to add grace to the law, not replace it. You sugarcoat with semantics, but its clear from scripture. The law said love the Lord with all your heart and soul. Paul needed to have done this to be blameless. Yet he counted it as dung.

And show me where love your neighbour as yourself came up after Jesus instituted love one another as i have loved you.
Lool. I knew you did not understand me, no wonder people still did not understand Jesus so it is not surprising. All Jesus spoke about 'doing' was of the Spirit.
Paul was speaking for himself about being blameless and yes what he counted dung was according to the law. He was on a mission to kill and persecute when He was caught by God yet he felt he was doing according to the law of GOD. Hope you understand that it was about works without the heart and when he was arrested by God, all that changed and He started with the heart and showed us a lot of 'heart doings' of the law of Moses, guess you will say he mixed grace with law or when he said the Israelites did not mix with faith the Word they heard. Someday you will personally understand this yourself and will know I have been saying about the law of the Spirit.

For the scriptures, do your own check and realise that before you start saying things are replaced you should first search scriptures. No, I won't do that for you.

ayoku777:

If Jesus called it a new commandment, then new it is, meaning it never was before then. And its a replacement not just for both but the ten and the entire law. We are to love both God and man with the love of Christ, as Christ did and as Christ would. So if you would, we should love God with the heart and mind of Christ. And this is only possible with the Holy Spirit.

I think this is clear enough.
There is no argument that it is new. Jesus said we should love each other as He has loved and there was nowhere it said it replaced the first two great commandments. God is not 'one another' that was being emphasized here, Jesus gave all three comands and never said one replaced the other as you keep saying. Even I have seen two cases in the epistles where loving our neighbour as ourself is quoted.
God is to be loved with all our might, souls, spirit and being and that has been properly qualified.
The scripture was clear on what Jesus was saying and I have shown that in my posts so your claim that Jesus replaced Love God with all your might and love your neighbour as yourself with Love one another as I have loved you is strictly your own making.

On the other issue you raised, Paul said he was blameless ACCORDING to the law..hope you know it was seen as of the letter not of the Spirit. Meaning a man may physically not commit adultery and be blameless according the law but has committed adultery in the heart thus still be blamed in the Spirit or in enmity to God due to carnality. That is what I have been trying to say if only you will understand it. So even if the physical law is met but the heart is wrong, full of hatred, envy, anger, lust, it cannot be right with God, it is just carnal working.

Jesus was speaking beyond physical acts for carnal mind is enmity with God...that was the real challenge!

'The weapons we fight with...demolish strongholds.' 2 Corithians 10:4

In Bible times when an attack was launched against a city, a first strategy was to bring in a battering ram, demolish the gates and defeat the inhabitants. Today you are at war with satan! Only when you recognise that, is victory possible. And the good news is 'The weapons we fight with...have...power to demolish strongholds.' But you must 'Put on the whole armour of God...' (Ephesians 6:11). It's not something you pick up and wear when you feel like it. And you've got to keep it on, because the enemy never lets up. He wants you to think he's equal with God. He's not! God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent; He can do anything, anywhere, anytime. No question, satan is a formidable foe, but there are limits on what he's permitted to do (Job 1:12). Your mind is command central; it's where victory or defeat is decided. Paul told the Corinthians, 'I fear, lest...your minds...be corrupted...' (2 Corinthians 11:3). Satan knows Christ's return is imminent and he's ratcheting up the opposition (Revelation 12:12). The way you win the battle is through:
1) Praise, the garment that protects you (Isaiah 61:3).
2) Abiding in Christ, your source of spiritual growth and fruitfulness (John 15:8-10).
3) God's Word, it's '...living...active...sharper than any two-edged sword...' (Hebrews 4:12), and it's designed to defeat the enemy. When satan comes against you, combat his lies with what God says.
4) Walking in love toward others. It's impossible to be victorious when you're wrapped up in yourself.

ayoku777:

I answered the two questions in one, the love of Christ is light years ahead of the one demanded under the law. The love of Christ isnt an addition, its an outright replacement.

If you were using a landline before, and i gave you a new smartphone. It can do all that the former can do and other things the former cant do. When i love others like Jesus loves me, i no longer need to love them like i love myself.

And yes we couldnt even love others as ourselves much less as Christ. Thats why the love of Christ can only be shed abroad in our hearts by the holy ghost. We can't work up enough emotion to have it or express it.

The new love doesnt negate the old but it moves beyond it into what it couldnt do. The old love has as much substance and reality when compared to the new, as your shadow does to your body. It is not an addition. We dont love others as Christ loved us in addition to loving them as we love ourselves
Thanks for your post. You did not answer the entire question here. There are two greatest commandments: Love God with all your heart, soul and love your neighbour as yourself which the law and prophets are hinged making 2 commandments, I asked if the new commandment of Jesus was said to replace the two or not? You claim its a replacement....of which of them?
The two or one? That's all I need to know and if it replaced just one, what about the other? I hope you understand my question now. I am not even comparing any of them.

ayoku777:

The old one was love your neighbour as yourself, the new is love one another as i have loved you. The love commandment from Christ was new, it wasn't the same one that was given at sinai as you're trying to make it look.
Ofcourse it is new.I simply asked if it meant the two great commandments are negated because of it or it is an addition?
I have expanded the question. You did not answer the last one I asked.

And I tried to explain the carnal man can not even love in truth. Jesus had to show us how to love for us to even be able to love others as ourself.

ayoku777:

Then why did Jesus call it a NEW COMMANDMENT?
Because it is new....this was the first time we will see Jesus 'in flesh' demonstrate love. @Ayoku, I have answered it in my prior post.
'Love as I have loved you', 'Love as you have seen me love' as now they had seen the God kind of love with their 'naked eyes' in the flesh for God dwelt with them. The OT folk were not priviledged to see it this way.
Religion / Re: What Is The New Covenant, And What Is The Old Covenant? by Alwaystrue(f): 9:02pm On Nov 12, 2013
ayoku777:

Ofcourse, when we say the law is a shadow, it means it carries the similitude of love. Just like your shadow has a limited measure of your form. But love is the new commandment, not the law. Its like saying walking in love by the Spirit was where the law and prophets was leading us.

And then the gospel that was preached to them was the gospel of the kingdom.
Love has been the commandment since the beginning for I can show you in the OT where the bible says Love your neighbour as yourself and Love God. The difference is Jesus (God in flesh) came to demonstrate His love to us for uncircumcised hearts cannot love, people in the OT tried to find loopholes in the law to do what they wanted as is done in contemporary law today.
The difference is Faith and Belief. That was what Jesus was always talking about. That was what the Israelites did not have. And Jesus gave us enough examples in His testament explaining the law versus the Spirit. So no matter how we try to walk around God's Word there is a Spirit behind it and even if the physical law is not broken the spiritual is. Jesus came to also cleanse us with His word and give God's laws full perfect expression. It is not just of the letter but of the Spirit.
Religion / Re: What Is The New Covenant, And What Is The Old Covenant? by Alwaystrue(f): 8:32pm On Nov 12, 2013
@Ayoku,
When Jesus was asked the greatest commandment, He said Loving God with all our being in short and also loving our neighbour. And He added that the whole Law and prophets are hinged on this.
Now He said He gives us A New Commandment, does this negate any of the two above then?

One thing to realise is that the whole law is based on love but the way a carnal person sees the law/love is different from the way a man of the spirit does.
Hebrews says the same gospel was preached to the Israelites but they did not MIX it with Faith in them that heard it.

Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

i believe that what is gone majorly is the condition, not necessarily the commandment. The condition of the covenant, the agreement was that IF God's words were obeyed THEN they would be.
@Image, I will draw you back on this. Has the condition really 'gone'?
If people fail to heed the voice of Jesus today as God testified in Deuteronomy 18 or obey the Holy Spirit or keep the new convenant (I will help you will and do God's pleasure), will the conditions still be binding? Hmmmmn.
Religion / Re: What Is The New Covenant, And What Is The Old Covenant? by Alwaystrue(f): 6:59pm On Nov 12, 2013
@Image,
Thanks for that expose. Yes people are confused with words convenant/agreement and the terms/rules of the convenant. @Ihedinobi helped me understand this better in one of his exposes.

That is why Jesus said the law and prophets were our guides until John and Jesus took over as He is the manifestation of God in the flesh for us to HEAR His voice/word again which the Israelites refused to hear on Horeb as confirmed in Deuteronomy 18:15-19.

Jesus started guiding us as soon as His ministry started after the baptism. I hope one day those who truly claim to believe Jesus is Lord will thus understand that the whole Old testament and Jesus words on earth are the Life, Light, Grace and Truth which the Apostles built their doctrine on when viewed with the eyes of the Spirit, our other guide after Jesus went to sit with His Father after resurrection.

Has anyone tried to drink milk with honey? cheesy grin Yummilicious.
Even the word of God could not but emphasize this combination in the verses below amongst others.

Jeremiah 32:22
And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

Proverbs 24:13-14
13 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be. unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

I Peter 2:2-3
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Milk is nourishment used for the growth and development of children and adults alike and honey is a sweet reminding us that life still has treats.
Even if you need to make a change of eating meat and bones in God's word which may be rough for you to swallow, the milk of the word (encouragement) is still there to be taken when you feel down and depressed for God is our Elshaddai, the many breasted one.
The honey treat (blessings) of the word is also to tell us we are so loved and God gives us abundantly above what we expect or imagine. Just as we will soon be giving our babies treats, the same way our Father in heaven has many treats for us in His word.
See the promises of God to us His people are so wonderful.

Why not take up a glass of milk mixed with honey and start enjoying the promises of our God while looking on in faith . kiss

KINDNESS

Tuesday, 12 November 2013

'...What does the Lord require of you...to love kindness...' Micah 6:8

Every day we miss opportunities to be kind in order to save a few seconds. Chuck Swindoll wrote, 'When I treat people as obstacles in my path, or use them merely as a means to getting things done, I become a smaller man. With each brusque comment...dismissive glance...curt reply I lose a little more of myself...my relationship with God suffers.' Paul says, 'The fruit of the Spirit is...kindness...' (Galatians 5:22), and you can't love God without being kind to those He loves. Consider Ruth and Naomi. When circumstances left them widowed, Ruth told her ageing mother-in-law, '...Don't ask me to leave you...May the Lord punish me...if I allow anything but death to separate us!' (Ruth 1:16-17) Consider Jonathan and David. When Saul tried to kill David, Jonathan stuck by him and '...loved him as himself' (1 Samuel 18:3) although it meant sacrificing his chance to become king. Consider David and Mephibosheth. In an era when newly-appointed monarchs routinely banished those associated with former dynasties, David sought out Jonathan's son and said, '...I will...show kindness to you for the sake of your father...and...restore to you...the land of your grandfather...you shall eat at my table regularly.' (2 Samuel 9:7). Consider the Shunammite woman who noticed Elisha was always passing her house, so she built a little room so he could '...turn in...' when he was tired (2 Kings 4:9-10). You never regret kindness. Og Mandino says, 'Treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend all the care, kindness and understanding you can, with no thought of reward, and your life will never be the same.'

What You Learn in Tough Times

Monday, 11 November 2013

'...Problems and trials...are good for us...' Romans 5:3

We all want '...the crown of life...' the Lord promised (James 1:12) - but we don't want the 'problems and trials' that develop 'strength of character in us.' (Romans 5:4) But it can't be done. Here's what you learn in tough times:
(1) Enjoyment. 'Count it all joy when you fall into...trials.' (James 1:2) It's when you pass God's test that He fills you with His joy. So pull some of the groans out of your prayers and throw in a few hallelujahs. Remember, pain is inevitable - misery is optional!
(2) Enlargement. The Psalmist wrote, '...You gave me room when I was in distress...' (Psalm 4:1) Most of the things we know best, we learned the hard way. Our greatest progress comes from our greatest pain; hence God doesn't save us from it, but strengthens us in it.
(3) Enlightenment. The Bible says, 'Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness...' (Psalm 112:4) We don't realise how little we know until we walk through life's dark places and God turns on the light.
(4) Endurance. James writes, '...See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm...' (James 5:7-8.) You can't shorten the seasons or hurry the harvest, so be patient. And pay attention. While you're waiting, God is working. Bruce Wilkinson says, 'Tests of faith are trials and hardships that invite you to surrender something of great value to God... [and look forward to] the refining experience... and the priceless result.'

Mark 9:49
For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

In this brief course as we see in the scripture, Jesus said everyone will be purified, preserved, tested, seasoned by fire. Job 23:10.
When we salt our food, we let it simmer a little on the fore so it can be fully incorporated and thee burst of activated flavour or taste is realised.
Chemical reactions occur when salt and fire mix. Flavours are released, savours are brought out of meals.
God is so interested in salt so much so that we see how He commanded His sacrifices presented in Leviticus 2:13.
Our offering should have an atitude and the right taste of love, happiness, joy, endurance and other good things.

Today, whatever you may be experiencing in life, remeber the words of Christ that we shall all be preserved, tested with fire (trials, persecutions) to bring out the full savour of the combinations of the fruits and flavours of the Spirit He has given us. James 1:4

Handling Temptation

Sunday, 10 November 2013

'Keep your heart with all diligence...' Proverbs 4:23

We all have our battlegrounds; in some cases they're things we surrendered to years ago that now lurk in our innermost thoughts. That's why the Scriptures warn, 'Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.' Max Lucado writes: 'I'm at a desk in a hotel room far from home. The voices that encourage are distant; the voices that entice are near. A placard on my nightstand invites me to the lounge to make new friends in a relaxing atmosphere. Another on top of the TV promises late-night movies that will make all my fantasies come true. In the phone book several columns of escort services offer Love away from home. Voices! Some for pleasure, some for power. The world hammers at your door; Jesus taps. The world promises fleshly pleasure; Jesus promises us a quiet dinner...with Him: '...I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.' (Revelation 3:20) Which voice will you obey?' You ask, 'How should I handle tempting situations?' In two ways:
First, by filling your mind with Scripture so that your first response is always, 'It is written.'
Second, by keeping your eyes on Jesus. Lesley Durkin writes, 'My father used to put a bit of meat on the floor near his dog and say, No! The dog never touched it. But he never looked at it either, because if he did the temptation to disobey would have been too great. He just kept looking at my father's face.' Keep your eyes on Jesus. 'Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.' (Psalm 34:5)

How did your cucumber, cabbage and apple taste without honey? I am yet to try it though.

@dreams those recipes look Dreamsilicious. You have a way of making normal everyday meals so unique and attractive to cook and eat.

For the brown rice puding, a touch of softened carrots and fish flakes will give added yumminess. I have made rice and mixed with honey when it was done so I can imagine the flavour. I think there was even some coconut milk in the mix if I remember well. kiss

I think we can take a look at seafood as well. Lobsters, crabs and other fish for another level of meals.

Someone asked about what can be done with carrot chaff, have we thought about how to use all these residue for something more filling, possibly add coconut or carrot chaff (blended to flour) into our bakes or to coat fish or chicken for frying or roasting, add to our jollof or fried rice, or as topping for smoothies or bread and butter?

Today's spiritual diet is a two course meal, have the appetiser:

Matthew 5:13
You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

Never has Jesus saying here made more sense to me as it has in my study today:

We are mostly women here so we understand the impact of salt in cooking even if we cannot eat it as it is individually, salt brings taste and activation to meals. We cannot do without it and we add it last to confirm readiness.

Jesus calls those who believe in Him the salt of the earth and what does that mean?
The earth is God's COOKING POT! It is His creation just like we create our meals.
No wonder man (salt) was created on the last day of God's work signifying completion and we add salt often last to season our meals.
That is why when the Pot of food became tasteless because of sin, God wiped the world with water in Noah's time. God was washing His cooking utensils for a new cooking process which we are part of now.

God has made believers to be that which gives taste to His entire creation, so how do you see yourself today? What taste or preservation do you bring to life, circumstances, situations, places and the world around you?
Do you make everything tasty? Or have you lost your strength and quality because you are hoarding God's talents in you because of fear, depression, hopelessness?
What kind of salt are you? Does a little of you light up a cooking or does your tastelessness even affect relationships?
Mark 9:50b
Have salt within yourselves, and be at peace and live in harmony with one another.

The other course will come soon, enjoy this meanwhile. Happy weekend all.

The Bible says: '...Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn in there to eat some food. And she said to her husband...Let us make him a small upper room...and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lamp stand...' (2 Kings 4:8-10) Observe:

(1) Whatever you need more of; make room for it.You don't get what you 'want' in life; you get what you 'prepare for'. This woman's generosity toward Elisha resulted in her having a child when she wasn't able to, and her child later being raised from the dead when sickness claimed him. When you make room for God in your life; you make room for the blessings that come with Him.

(2) Notice the four things she put in the prophet's room:
(a) A bed. There are times when you must run, and there are times when you must rest. Indeed, if you don't learn to slow down, you'll break down.

(b) A table. You need spiritual food to nourish your soul. If you plan to keep giving out, you must keep taking in.

(c) A chair. This speaks of study. 'Study to...present yourself to God... a workman who has no cause to be ashamed...accurately dividing...the Word of Truth.' (2 Timothy 2:15)

(d) A lamp. A place of illumination. Even after you've studied long and hard, you need the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to your heart. And that's how to become a notable woman (or man).

smiley This is The Word for Today

@Bidam, the word of God is alive and sharper than any two edged sword...justifies and judges.
Whatever name anyone decides to call shouldn't bother you especially when you hold the views of the Word. If Jesus was called names and Apostle Paul endured such, how much more you? The words of mockers and scorners should be the least of what should bother you and you should not join in doing so either.

Alwaystrue:
I did not know I will not be so chanced today to post as I usually do early but I think it is all part of the message....right timing:

I Corinthians 12:14-18
14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

Ephesians 4:16
from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

We have all baked @Dreams Banana bread muffin or seen the recipe.
The individual ingredients like oat flour, eggs, ACV, baking soda, pinch of salt do not taste nice if eaten individually but taste better as a whole cooked meal and with this we learn the power of unity and purpose of each ingredient.

When @Dreams said add ACV for it activates the baking soda to make muffins rise, I no hear word, come remove both ACV and soda and the result was obvious....thick muffins that did not rise to the ocassion.

What we go through in life should make us rise up with wings as eagles. Use mockery to rise, use scorn as ladder for success.
Many ingredients are mixed to make us who we are today and we are passed through heat to make us ready like the food we cook and even some ingredients have to be put in at the right time for a certain amount of time to bring out the right smell, taste and look. And that is why the word says:

2 Corinthians 2:15
For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives should be a constant sacrifice and pleasantly cooked meal to God with the individual ingredients of sweet, sour, pain and gain all tasting better together in unity.
There is a beauty in seeing all the things of life working together for our good and to the glory of God.

@Twinsgirls, that was so deep. Thanks so much. Amen o. I know God is wonderful and does exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or imagine. My wait was for a reason, I know. We will all testify this season.

@muma, lolz. The word of God is alive...Heb. 4:12. My prayer is we all see God's undeniable glory in our life.

A Judgmental Spirit (6)

Friday, 08 November 2013

'...You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.' Luke 9:55

One day Jesus went into a Samaritan village and was not well received. So the disciples said, 'Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?' But He turned and rebuked them, and said, You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them...' (Luke 9:54-56)

What's at work in this story? A judgmental spirit. A poll taken by the Barna Research Group reveals that today most non-believers view Christians as too judgmental. So you can be sincere, but too severe. When you mix and mingle only with those who share your views and values, you can communicate with others in ways that attack, rather than attract. Let's be clear: never has it been more important to know the truth of God's Word and stand for it. But if you have the right doctrine and the wrong spirit, you'll drive more people away from Christ than you'll draw to Him. If Satan has his way, he will drive holiness out of our hearts and into our fists. Imagine - Christ's disciples wanting to incinerate those who didn't agree with them! They weren't even aware of the spirit that was at work within their own hearts. 'Jesus said... You shall love your neighbour as yourself.' (Matthew 19:18-19) That includes your non-Christian neighbour. You don't have to defend Jesus, or 'sell' Him. All you have to do is introduce Him. The Psalmist says, 'Taste and see that the Lord is good...' (Psalm 34:8.)

grin,
Loooool. @Twinsgirls, none of the above o. I just dey the care unit in my church and I be daughter of God. I work in my secular '9-5' job.
I just studied that passage today though I had been thinking of bitter sweet since yesterday and how to apply it. I think it is more of meditation and making scriptures come alive to you. And all this is a fruit of my waiting on God.

James 1:3-4
3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
4  But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

There is still more to learn and we keep learning.

And no dey Je-loss, Je-gain abeg. grin
