Politics / Re: Jonathan, PDP Can’t Claim Credit For Defeating Ebola — Governor Fashola by Amacaco: 8:33am On Oct 02, 2014
If Ebola was not contained and it had ravaged the entire country, would the President and PDP have been left alone without any blame? If the credit for combating Boko Haram goes to the Soldiers at the war front who are bearing the brunt alone, why do we constantly blame the President and his party when things go awry? My take is that the entire Medical Team and health workers, the commissioner for health in Lagos State, the Governor of Lagos State, the Health Minister and his team, the President of Nigeria, the mass media, the immigration officers at the borders, and other state governors all contributed to the containment of Ebola to the best of their ability. The Man at the head of every organisation takes credit for the successes and failure of his organisation even though there are other foot soldiers. The earlier we stop all these politics on important issues of life, the better for us as Nigerians. The war against Ebola is not yet over until it is totally eradicated from Africa.

Politics / Re: $9.3m Scandal: Oritsejafor violated Company Law, Says Falana by Amacaco: 8:13am On Sep 30, 2014
Femi Falana should just shut up his mouth instead of interpreting the law upside down just to discredit CAN and oritsejafor in order to gain cheap popularity. He should be prepared to make his arguments in court where his legal views can be challenged and contested instead of using the pages of Newspapers to try and condemn others. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty by a court of Law. This is a universally accepted principle of fair hearing and justice.
Politics / Re: Fayose Didn't Slap Me-- Justice Adeyeye by Amacaco: 1:07pm On Sep 27, 2014
When the supporters of General Buhari maimed and killed Youth Corpers and thousands of other Southerners in the North after the 2011 General Election, was Buhari held responsible for the actions of his supporters even though he supported what they did before, during and after the Elections. Why should Fayose be held accountable for what his supporters do without his instructions. If that is the case, all APC Leaders should be held responsible for the death of the former NURTW chairman who was shot dead by their supporters and assassins.

Politics / Re: Pictures Dont Lie, Abia Before And Now by Amacaco: 6:08pm On Sep 17, 2014
I lived.schooled and worked in Abia state for 34 years. In all those years, I never saw any government that was as useless, inept, visionless and wasteful as the present Government in the State. Abia State and Aba in particular has never had it so bad

To God be the glory! The Nigerian Army will continue to win the war against Boko Haram despite the work of detractors.
Agriculture / Re: Nigeria Government Approves N13bn For Rice, Cassava Mills by Amacaco: 9:16am On Sep 11, 2014
What I do not understand is how the Federal Government will be setting up rice Mills without siting any one in Ebonyi State. It is a well Known fact that Ebonyi state and Abakaliki people in particular are major producers of rice in this country. I hope the Federal Government can justify this omission.

Sports / Re: Nigeria Withdraws Team From Youth Olympics Over Ebola Discrimination by Amacaco: 9:30am On Aug 14, 2014
What of the thousands of Chinese nationals working in different companies in this country. Have they contracted Ebola? their Government should start by recalling them from Nigeria if they are really interested in safe guarding their citizens. Things should be done properly if the world must move forward.

it is very funny that someone will mention Ebonyi as a crime state. The researchers should please close shop as they are yet to learn the basic rudiments of conducting an acceptable survey.
Politics / Re: ASUU And FG Who Is To Be Blamed For This Strike ? by Amacaco: 5:07pm On Oct 17, 2013
Blame ASUU for the strike. ASUU has never had any real agreement with the govt. They have always been holding govt by the balls since 1991 as they are doing now and anything accepted by govt is no agreement as it is acceeded to under duress. ASUU should see themselves as partners and see the govt point of view. Only then can they be a genuine agreement.

Religion / Re: Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Of COZA In Sex Scandal by Amacaco: 10:47am On Aug 23, 2013
Sister, its unfortunate you went through this in the hands of your pastor who is supposed to be your spiritual adviser and helper. It is important to state that you were in no where innocent in this affair but the fact that you continued to feel guilty and ashamed over the entire affair is an indication that the Holy Spirit was acting in you to convict you of sin to offer forgiveness if you are willing and ready to accept same. You are better placed to receive forgiveness from Jesus Christ if you genuinely and willingly want it than the Pastor who continues to live in denial. But if what you seek is vengeance on the pastor for what you people did, then forgiveness will not come. Leave vengeance to God for each and every one of us will stand before Him to give account of our lives whether we accept it or not. The Blood of Jesus His son Continuously cleanses us from all sin.
It is important to stress that there is no pastor that is infallible. We are human and this christian race is a personal thing. So remove your focus on any man and place it on Christ who I assure you can never fail or disappoint you. The grace that brings salvation has appeared to all men and given us the power to say No to sin and unrighteousness. All you have to do is to get down on your knees at home and in sincerity confess your sins and shortcomings to God and ask for forgiveness and help without finding any excuse to justify your actions before him. you will come out clean and with peace in your heart. Finally, do not allow anything or anybody make you run form attending Church services. Find a better pentecostal Church. You need it to survive spiritually.

Politics / Re: Joe Igbokwe: Please Stop Patience Jonathan by Amacaco: 9:59am On Jul 17, 2013
Prof. Wole Soyinka we know, Tinubu we know, Patience Jonathan we know but who is this Joe Igbokwe talking trash? I believe that is how he talks to or treats his wife and mother if he ever had any. All these attention and relevance seeking persons will want to pick up up their pen to spew out nonsense once the name of President Jonathan and his wife is mentioned anywhere. Time will tell.

Why not go to a place with a better Mtn network. I think it is purely a network problem. Secondly, if you are not in a 3G area, make sure you set your network to 2G only in the Modem. This might help.
Politics / Re: Fashola Denies Obtaining $15m From Export-import Bank by Amacaco: 3:42pm On Jan 16, 2013
What I understand His Excellency to be saying is that Lagos state Government ordered for these fire trucks from the manufacturers and payment was guaranteed by a Nigerian Bank. To my understanding, that is a credit facility granted to Lagos state Government. Strictly speaking, credit facilities by financial institutions are Loans. there are to be paid back at a future date with interests and charges.

Politics / Re: Pictures Of Wives Of Oyo Legislators Trip To London by Amacaco: 9:40am On Jul 19, 2012
This is a complete waste of public funds and most people here will not see anything wrong with it. If it were to be Dame Patience Jonathan who took this trip with her Aids, this forum will have been awash with self righteous critics mouthing their criticism. But now many of us will not see anything wrong with this. After all we have a country full of leaders and citizens who are nothing but hypocrites.

Politics / Re: Are We Any Better Than The Leaders We Condemn ? by Amacaco: 8:22am On Jun 04, 2012
Many of us who prefer criticizing the leadership are no better. The problem with this country is nothing but hypocrisy. People who as leaders of student unions, clubs, associations, cooperative societies, town and market unions, and even companies have squandered or are still squandering their association resources are the people who make the most noise about corruption in this country. What will you say of Elders in our villages who pervert justice and deny the poor justice at local meetings simply because they have collected money from people. Today, even politicians who through corruption have wasted God given opportunities to faithfully serve the people at the local government, state and national levels still come out to talk about corruption as if they are saints. Members of the State and national Assemblies who conduct useless investigations into Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies are even worse when it comes to corruption and who investigates them. The State Auditors who look into the accounts of the State and local Governments just go there, collect their own share and write nonsense. The Directors and Permanent Secretaries at the various Ministries and Agencies at Federal and State Levels ensure that Budgets are not duly implemented so that the money allocated to their Ministries can be shared at the end of the year. The police, Efcc,Prosecution, Defence lawyers, and Judges and all those who serve in the temple of justice and whose responsibility it is to ensure that culprits are brought to justice are no better as diligent investigations and prosecution is thrown overboard simply because money has exchanged hands. Yet it is this class of People who talk, write and criticize others when issues of corruption are raised and we applaud them as saints.Who is fooling who.One thing is certain- the day for accounting is coming.
