@op, is the phone a 4g phone and does it have the GLO 4g band. |
This World Cup is not an age grade football competition. Even if you are 40 or 19years, you can still play if your country selects you. I do not see the reason for all these noise making about Uzoho except some people are jealous or trying to justify or calm their consciences over their individual failures at that age. What really amazes me is how Uzoho matured to be at the World Cup in 2018 instead of the 2013 under 17 goal keeper who was the best at that tournament. I would really have loved to see himself at this World Cup instead of Akpeyi. |
It is painful to see a set of Leaders at the National Assembly who do not know or understand their place and position as members of the legislature and 2nd arm of government. For the National Assembly to see itself as 'children' to the President or Executive arm of government means they are just there to do the bidding of their 'father ' the President. No wonder the President and his aides have no iota of respect for the National Assembly. The three arms of government have constitutional responsibilities and these can only be achieved where they have mutual respect for each other. |
I have a personal account and a corporate account in First Bank. How do I bring in my corporate account into the app on my device? Do I need two different devices and two apps? |
A transcript of what the leader of the gang said shows that they heard the Senate President was going to visit the emir and they on their own decided to go there too to hear what he had to say. There were neither invited by him nor did they accompany him to the palace. The leader also said the Senate President does not know them personally. The police should stop twisting words. It is not fair. |
He resigned because he followed the principle of bowing out when the ovation is loudest. He doesn't want to dent his record at the club. It was a wise decision. |
I totally disagree with NNPC. It is a public institution coming under the purview of the Act. That is why it can be supervised by the National Assembly. |
You wrote all this beautiful piece without mentioning the great coach that qualified Nigeria for the World Cup and took the team to USA 94, the hardworking Clemence Westerhoff and his assistant Bonfre Jo. The story of USA 94 is incomplete without the entire team. May God bless them. |
This was something that happened in 2013 being presented as today's news. |
I think it is very wrong for any married person to seek solutions to marital issues on nairaland. Majority of the people who will make comments here are mainly persons who know next to nothing about marriage. This always reflects in their contributions and in the way they make fun of the issue at stake and the poster. Marriage is not like girlfriend/boyfriend relationship as you have no binding commitment in the latter. Anyone who does not have experience in marriage should steer clear of Marriage topics but read and learn. This life is not a bed of Roses. As to the poster, your experience sometimes happen in some marriages. If not properly handled, it can break the relationship. All you need is for two of you to talk to each other sincerely and honestly without being hypocritical. |
What you have written is complete trash. You know absolutely nothing about any of the characters you wrote about or their political antecedents. Your name does not show you are from Ebonyi State but a political jobber. You have successfully earned your money . So go and sit down. |
@op :The bible is against idol worship and not culture. Culture is our way of life including dress es, food, songs, marriage rites, presentation and eating of kola nuts, etc. These are things we do daily. It is not wrong for Christians to worship and honor God according to their way of life. |
What did South Africa do when Igbos were killed in Nigeria by this present governments between 2015 and 2017. The number so far killed far exceeded the ones for which they are reacting. Charity begins at home. If they are serious, they should speak out and condemn Nigerian government actions against IPOB and Igbos. |
Someone should tell Falana that he is lying and turning the constitution upside down. He should apply for the position of a Judge and give his interpretations of the law the way he likes but as a lawyer he is deceiving the unlearned and playing politics. He is so so so so wrong on this. |
Sagay never talks like a lawyer, how much more a professor. His thoughts and talks are always so immature and childish. This is what becoming an Apc Government appointee and supporter has reduced him to. The prof of Law I knew and read his book more than thirty years ago cannot not be the same Sagay of today. That Prof can never under any circumstances support anyone disrespecting the National Assembly or Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria because the head of those institutions were not the ones they wanted to be elected as President or Speaker. The National Assembly is an Institution that must be respected as the 2nd arm of Government. In this way, we have checks and balances of all arms of Government. If the Executive begins to deride the Legislature and judiciary as we are seeing under this government, this country will be heading to an uncontrollable anarchy even when a new government comes to power because precedents have been established. It doesn't matter who are the members and officers of the national assembly and how corrupt they may be, as long as they have been duly elected by the people and constitutionally sworn in we owe it as a national duty to respect the institution no matter what office we occupy in government. |
The relevant Authorities should investigate these allegations and take necessary steps to redress it if found to be true. Anything short of this will impact negatively on the institution and our education system generally. |
They know you like jokes. |
I really do not understand this drama. We are told that Dino voluntarily surrendered to the police. Next we are told he jumped out of a moving vehicle in order to escape. This does not make sense to me. My take is that the Police intentionally pushed him out of the moving vehicle or did something to him like spraying tear gas on his face while in the vehicle to warrant his trying to get away. I do not trust the Nigeria Police. The true story will come out soon. |
May God's will be done. Amen |
What the Op is trying to explain is that before subsidy was paid by the previous government to several individuals. But today it is paid to few individuals within NNPC who write it off as loss in the Corporation's account books. So as long as it is members of the 'family 'who are receiving the subsidy money, it is under recovery. |
@Proudlyngwa: Please read the twitter handle of the Presidency again and note what was written there. For avoidance of doubt, I reproduce it here for you "President@MBuhari today received Martin Luther King Jnr's Family. He was also conferred with the 1st Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018." From the above, you will see that the family of Martin Luther King Jnr was no where near Aso Rock. But Dr Naomi Barbara King representing the family of A .D King or by extension family of Martin Luther King Snr that came to see Buhari and give him an Award. |
The presidency in its twitter handle said that the award was given by Martin Luther King's Jnr's(MLK) family. But the truth is that the award came from the wife of Alfred Daniel Williams "A. D." King, a Baptist minister. A.D King is the younger brother of Martin Luther King Jnr. Their Father was Martin Luther King Snr. The presidency passed off the award to be from Martin Luther King Jnr's Family which it was not. If it was made clear that it was A.D King's Family that gave the award, the controversy would not have arisen. |

@Vyktall: Go and do her Letter of Administration first. You have no right to a dead person's money without a Will or Letter of Administration in your favour. |
@op, in Enugu Disco particularly Abakaliki in Ebonyi State we pay N30.93 per unit for a residential flat since February 2016. My bill came in today and it is the same. |
Pls I need a link to download First Knight (1995) |
Maybe she was already pregnant before tricking you into having sex with her. Confirm the baby is really yours and then take full responsibility. You cannot be forced into marriage with anyone but it is your duty to take care of the baby and the mother. Discuss with your family. |
@Op:What was the basis of calculating those percentages? Were they based on the number of registered voters or the total votes cast in each zone or population of each zone or just on the total number of votes cast for Buhari? Some of you political statisticians on Nairaland are either so ignorant, uneducated, unintelligent or damn so stupid. If you do your calculations properly, you will see your statistics is wrong and deductions faulty. People are talking of good governance based on rule of law and fear of God but you are here writing about political appointments of individuals who are there to share the national cake which they did not bake. |
If not paying Tithes makes one rich, Reno Omokri and all those who are against payment of Tithe should have been richer than Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gate put together. If paying Tithe makes one poor, then all tithers should have been the poorest people on Earth. What you do not know or like keep away and stop disturbing others with nonsense posts. |
Is Buhari the best Northern Nigeria can offer to us?. If that is the case, I am seriously disappointed and Nigeria is in trouble. |
Buhari (like Everyone) likes money but he does not know how to make money(manage and control men, resources and other factors needed) in order to create wealth. Knowing how to make money does not mean you must be a billionaire or millionaire. Making money also does not mean you must steal or be a successful fraudster, thief or criminal. You need to have the savvy to create wealth and money by the way you think, talk, and act, the way you recruit, manage men and resources around you to bring happiness and prosperity to people who look up to you. These are the qualities Buhari is lacking and he has actually confessed to that. Even if he has never stolen public funds(I am yet to be convinced since he said he likes money too), it does not detract from the point he made that he has lived all his life on borrowing, charity and public funds (salaries, allowances and pension). Nigeria deserves a better leader than that. |
I have this strong feelings in my gut that he is not dead. They have found a very neat way of making him evade justice knowing which part of Nigeria he comes from. My feelings anyway. |
