As an imolite, I will not say because I am from Imo and accept wrong narrative.

1. Anambra has the largest oil and gas in SE region

2. The purported 43 oil wells are still in Rivers state and shall remain there because it belongs to Rivers state.

I am an engineer in Agip, Shell and Texaco, so I know how these things works. Imo state produces very little oil and that explains the peanut they receive in oil derivation.

With utmost love from me

This your prayer won't work, infact it will speak against you and your generations, what nonsense? why is it that people like you are so devilish against your sister state. it's just an open argument he has is opinion you have yours. Imo state will collect all there oil wells just like Abia state have collected theirs. BTW this recent news of Anambra joining the league of oil producing state is cool but your lots arguing it the highest in South east it's not true. Abia state alone has over 100 oil wells and 3 oil intalations. Imo state am not sure of the figure. Anambra with just 11 can not be the highest, sometimes the way you guys from brag and downgrade other states in south east is disheartening. If you argue about gas reserve then I may listen to you. but oil wells. NO way. There are state with over 300 oil wells them never make noise just 11 oil wells you guys are insulting everyone. na wa oo

Dear Nairalanders,
I have an issue that has been on my mind for weeks now. My fiancé and I have been dating for over three years. I love him and he loves me too. We are physically attracted to each other. We’re both catholic but since I graduated, during my service year I gave my life to Christ, got saved and left the Catholic Church. So I’ve been a Pentecostal Christian since then. He on the other hand is still catholic. I subtly try to nudge him to consider getting saved, i.e acknowledging Christ as lord and savior and becoming born again but he is content with his laidback Christian life.

Earlier this year, he asked to meet my parents and I let him. My parents like him especially because my younger sis is married and they have been waiting for me too. They’re glad I’ve someone. However, after the introduction,I regret it. I’m now certain that he’s not the one. I think about my spiritual life and how lukewarm he is about the things of God, I think about kids and how we’ll raise the, with such differing views about God and I’m discouraged. I feel like I’m settling because he checks all the boxes on the checklist of physical attributes. Another mistake I made is, I didn’t pray about this decision and that worries me because anything that involves him,I just act with pausing to ask God, but I always ask God about other aspects of my life. So it’s like my associating with him is a minus for my spiritual life and that’s a huge cause for concern.

At this point, I want to tell my parents I am not convinced it’s him but I’m afraid of the disappointment this will cause. *sigh* I’ll appreciate your thoughts, comments, criticisms...

your bothered because you tried to lured him into your church and he rejected. Nne heavenly race is an individual course run ur own mkae I run mine.

OP why didn't you tell us you told your pastor about your marriage, maybe he disappoved of it. or maybe you want the wedding in your pentecostal church and your man wants it in a Catholic church. I wonder why women are easily conned into rubbish doctrines yet we call on same God and Jesus. Nne you are the problem. your man is not a fanatic, your man is a believer. The more visionless and uneducated sychophants that praise there elected officials the more money is siphoned and substandard work delivered. 2021 is here. Choose wisely in November. A man can not give you what he doesnt have. Let me know when the will build the seats so my people dont have to stand in the sun on the sand next to a world class pitch.

I guess the school you attended was located under the banana tree, it's the construction of a Mini Stadium not the assumed Stadium you think. Calm down my brother your hate will lead you no where..

Crime / Re: Isu Arochukwu Communal Clash: Two Killed, 10 Missing (Graphic Photos) by amadice(m): 4:22pm On Feb 04, 2020
Metrixnews:
No fewer than two persons were killed, while 10 others declared missing on Monday at Isu community in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State over a boundary clash with their Utuma neighbours in Biase Local Government Area and Ukwa Odukpani LGA of Cross River State.

For some years now, the Isu clan have been locked in a bloody land dispute with their Utuma neighbours in Cross River State.

Sources said gunmen invaded the Isu community about 8a.m. and shot dead two people and fled.

President General of Isu community, Elder Felix Okoro, said gunmen had laid siege to Isu land where they killed two natives while about 10 persons were missing.

Okoro disclosed that the hoodlum came from the disputed area at Iheosu-Isu to attack the natives who had been taking refuge at a location in the community.
He said: “The hoodlums invaded Isu clan this morning (yesterday) and shot dead two persons. We have been suffering attacks from our Utuma neighbours.

“This conflict started when limestone was discovered in Isu community and the Utuma have been laying claim to it, killing Isu people. Over 100 houses have been burnt and 60 persons killed with three villages sacked.

“For about two years now, the people of Iheosu-Isu and other villages have fled from the land because they were being killed and their houses burnt. They have become internally displaced persons (IDPs) in their land.

“The IDPs are now quartered at Ohabuike Primary School, Obieze-Isu. We are calling on the Federal and state government to protect Isu people before they kill all of us.

“We have a state of emergency at hand with the over 3,500 IDPs at the primary school. Isu people are grateful to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Abia State government for sending relief materials.

“It costs the community N2 million monthly to buy food, clothing and drugs for them. The IDPs cannot farm because their lands have been taken over and their houses burnt. Any Isu man who goes to the Iheosu-Isu is killed.

“Isu people are worried about the situation. We are being slaughtered like chicken. The Deputy Governors of Abia and Cross Rivers States have visited Isu and Utuma and appealed for peace, yet our Utuma and Ukwa neighbours won’t allow us to live in peace.

“We no longer go to the disputed area which is our land, but they have continued to attack us.”

Okoro urged the National Boundary Commission (NBC) as well as the Abia and Cross River State governments to urgently make further efforts to protect lives and property.

The Abia State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ene Okon, said the area was now calm.

Sorry Sir, what is the natural resource found recently in Arochukwu?
... In that particular Community in ISU there is large quantity of LIME STONE and other stones and they were plans to establish a cement factory there but it has never seen the light of the day even the feasibility study have be done. There rumour that large deposit of Gas in that area between Arochukwu boundary to oduakpni cross river/blaise cross river. Moreover the conflict between Isu and utuma which is said to be in cross river state started after the civil war not today. And it a land issue. According to the map of both states There is a big river demarcating the boundaries but these goats from cross river claims the boundary is at OHAFIA... ISU as a coummunity is not the only community that have fought these people from cross river. They have attacked UTUTU who fought ITU also in cross river state (land issue) IHECHIOWA fought ukwua from cross river (land issue) but the reason why its affecting ISU as a community is that its a small coummunity and its was easy for them... but UTUTU and IHECHIOWA were to hot for them. Less i forget, they also fought OHAFIA also. Does guys from Cross river as real goats
