l doubt the veracity of this story. lf at all it is real life story, l still do not believe that local, village pastor has the wherewithal to go for DNA tests as he claimed. My ward just reported to me that she got a malpractice notice of 100 points deduction for the 2019 UTME examinations. The text read that CCTV caught her in malpractice during the last exam and a 100 points deducted from her score. I tried calming her and urging her to ignore the message as fraud. When l asked if she was involved in any malpractice during the exam, her reply was no. Johesu want the same salary scale with Medical Doctors. It's easy to claim entry point distinguishes them but let's look at exit point. A lab Scientist at 55yrs probably now at the highest grade does nothing but order Juniors around, yet a General Surgeon who has put his life on the line still does rigorous calls and theatre sessions at 58yrs. The stupid, insane and unbelievable new demand means that a lab scientist, Nurse and neurosurgeon at the same grade level should earn the same, despite not having the same responsibility, this is a shame, and the Country will pay for considering these Buffon's and clowns called Johesu. Nowhere in the world is this stupidity condoned. The average hourly work rate of each professional the world over can be browsed, in all cases the doctors' comes top.

My advice for Junior doctors is to run as far as ur legs can take u, this is the best time. Don't look back, doctors are hot cake and don't limit yourself to a shithole country.

I am deeply surprised that of all the op said and the scenerio he described all your mind could conjure up is that JOHESU is demanding a par pay with doctors. lnstead of looking at how and demanding that your employers make working conditions better for the few health care workers braving the harsh conditions in situ, you are busy claiming superiority and hating. Fact you doctors fail to grasp is that everybody cannot be doctors. Other professions must be before the system can run efficiently. Even the cleaners and sweepers you so loathe, are still useful. I live in Enugu and really love rhe xity. The road network is pleasant. Hardly do you encounter potholes on the roads. The one downside for me is rhe numerous police checkpoints in rhe xity. They just pop up anywhere they deem fit. I travelled from Enugu to Maiduguri 2 weeks ago. The moment we crossed Enugu state no moee police stops until we entered the North East with military checkpoints. I wish the Governor addresses that.
