In public service I agree, but in private practice pharmacists earn way higher. I'm just 3yrs nd I have 2 branches nd eyeing a 3rd. Do u know how much each branch make a day? Stop being in denial pls. I ve never seen any reason to see a dentist in my life neither any member of my family. Even if a dentist earns 2m a month, he can't earn more than many pharmacists in private practice

Your arguments are still baseless. How many pharmacists in Nigeria that are 3 years post graduation that own their pharmacy stores? That you own your own pharamacy store doesn't mean pharmacy is better than Dentistry in Nigeria. Are there no pharmacists that are working for peanuts?

Let me give you an example! I did a Google search and I found out there are about 25,000 pharmacists in Nigeria while there are about 1400 dentists in Nigeria. If out of the 25,000 pharmacists in Nigeria, let's say 10,000 are really doing well (getting money from pharamacy and no where else) and out of the 1400 dentists in Nigeria, 1000 of them are really doing well (getting money from Dentistry alone), which profession do you think is fairing better.

My point is that because you are doing well as a Pharmacist doesn't mean other pharmacists are doing well. I know of pharmacists that earn 120k monthly working for drug companies. I do not know of any dentist that earns below 250k in private practice. (All of us finished school at the same time). Is it all pharmacists in Nigeria that own their pharmacy stores?

First, I am not a dentist. I am not even in the health sector. I only have friends who are Dentists and pharmacists. We all went to the same university.

You are blabbing about yourself. Do you know how many pharmacists we have in this country? You talked about how you are doing well. Should I count the number of pharmacists I know that are not doing well? That you are doing well doesn't mean pharmacy is better than Dentistry. So, you don't know that are so many doctors in this country that did internship at the same time you did yours that you can't see their back today?

That is why you are an ode sha. Because I remember informing you that the clamour for an Esan governorship candidate is not from a standpoint of the Constitution or legality, it is from the standpoint of FAIRNESS.

I also made it known to your empty skull that the clamour can't stop candidates from other regions of the state to contest for governor because everyone who meets the requirements is constitutionally free to contest for the governor of Edo state.

In 2024, no one has the right to stop any one from Edo South or Edo north to be on the ballot for the governorship election in Edo state. No one! However, for fairness, it is only right that the majority of Edo people vote for a governor of Esan extraction.

While I am hampering on fairness, you are hampering on legality and Constitution. And I have repeatedly told you that everyone can LEGALLY vie for office of the governor of Edo state, without any tribal restrictions. So, why are you crying more than the bereaved?

I said considering that Edo south and Edo north has produced governors, it is only fair that Esan central should produce the next governor. And there is no problem if someone from Edo south or Edo north are on the ballot in the next governorship election. The Edo electorate will decide!

Which godfatherism favoured Obaseki?
The Edo people were solidly behind Obaseki in the second term election.

Most Edo people voted Obaseki because they didn't like the over bearing influence Oshiomole wanted to start having in the state; wanting to make himself a king maker. Tinubu coming out to support Ize-Iyamu was the straw that broke the carmel's back.

But I can tell you for free that in addition to the above reasons, Esan people voted massively for Obaseki because they rightly calculated that if Ize-Iyamu had won, he would have done 8 years (after Obaseki has done 4 years). So, it was better for them to support a benin man to do another 4 years to complete his tenure so the governorship can go to esan land than to vote another Benin man to come do 8 years again.

Imagine Obaseki did 4 years, lost his re-election and Ize-Iyamu won. Ize-Iyamu will likely do 8 years. In total, the Benin would have governed Edo state for 20 years. When will the Esan people then produce governor?

Please rest. Edo is not lagos. Both are different states. Tinubu can continue to influence who becomes governor in Lagos, but he shouldn't extend that influence to Edo state.

Edo North has done 8 years (Oshiomole did 8 years).

Edo Central (Esan) only produced governor for 18 months I think (Osariemen Osunbor) before he was removed by the court and Oshiomole made governor.

So, it is only fair that Edo central produce the next governor of Edo state.

Yes you are very correct, it makes me to remember the Defunct Bendel state when Professor Ambrose Alli was governor for only 4years he did alot, free healthcare in all government hospitals including medicines, He built schools, 1000 primary and secondary, Bendel state University now Ambrose Alli University, Ogwashikwu Polytechnic and also went to my place in Isoko land and built Ozoro Polytechnic now University of Technology Ozoro, and other great achievements. but Buhari sent this man to early grave despite all these projects, though he later pardoned Alli but it was after his death 36years ago in 2020. If you really want to know the difference between pharmacy and Dentistry in Nigeria, compare a dentist and a pharmacist both of who finished nysc at the same time. Different job offers will be waiting for the dentist as he finishes nysc with a pay not less than 200k (a fresh dentist from nysc). The pharmacist will take time to get a job and if he does, the pay is usually between 80k to 120k.

See I have dentists and pharmacists as friends. in government jobs, dentists earn higher than pharmacists. In private jobs, dentists earn higher than pharmacists!

You are getting it wrong bro...no one is arguing with you on the salary scaleat all....Dentists are paid more than Pharmacists. What we are actually talking about here is the Lucrativeness of the profession in Nigeria. No where in Nigeria wld a Pharmacist be used as a Sales boy and be paid 50k...If you know the number of Pharmacies in the country looking for the service of Pharmacists...you wont be saying this at all..Do you know that you cant even Open a Pharmacy in Nigeria without you getting a Pharmacist? Do you now know the number of Pharmacies you have in your locality? Any Pharmacies not having atleast a Pharmacist is illegal in the country and which can be closed at any time....
Pharmacists are paid about 800k per year for just to release their licence and certificate for a premise registration and this does not cover their service in the
Pharmacy at all..
Dentists are paid more when employed but Pharmacy has more Job Opportunities in Nigeria

Let's conclude on this matter.

In government hospitals, Dentists are paid higher than pharmacists.

In private, Dentists working in private dental clinics and private establishments (like toothpaste companies) earn higher than pharmacists working in private companies.

Your argument however, is that pharmacists make more money when their licences are used to open pharmacy store. Bro, come back to reality. How many pharmacists do you know that was paid for his/her license so it can be used to open a pharmacy store? Only few pharmacists get that opportunity. Many pharamacy stores in this country operate without the license of a pharmacist. And have you ever thought about Dentists that own their own private practice? The 800k some few pharmacists make when they are paid for their licences is what many Dental clinic owners make in 3 weeks or less (especially clinics that do braces work). Some Dentists who own their Dental clinics make millions per month.
