Golan007:Then let's wail together |
Oops! Ok I graduated far back served and almost a year after my discharge from NYSC ...my cousin whom was then working with a multinational company one of those Schlumberger affiliates then pleaded with me to come help him write a promotion examination .I went with him and after the exams the results were announced and he came up amongst the tops..so happened that some of the guys that turned up for the examination knew me very well and raised alarm when their names weren't listed amongst the successful candidates and the test was eventually cancelled and rescheduled for another day as the slots were for host community . I was relatively very young then, the company liaison officer appealed to me to enter for the examination on my own standing but I turned the offer down because back then my views on people that go to drilling operations on rig platform are non university graduates or dropouts, a view I still regret up until now. Most of those guys are now big boys , some international staff earning hard currency and with properties in choice areas around town. Well fast forward, I wrote interviews in two companies I was successful in both, one is an EPC company that is into power and energy solutions and the other is a drilling/,oil servicing company, the former offered to pay me N30k as a fresher while the latter offered N55k. In my small and naive sense then I took up the N30k offer because I needed to gain experience on core engineering which they offered as against travelling to the high sea to drill or prospect for oil Well my experience with the company was very rewarding in terms of technical capacity building and know how but the salary was abysmal although they later increased it to N168k monthly after about 3 years but I still have my regrets. Now I have left the company and joined another where I do N400k but the job is anything but fulfilling because I detest lazing away without proper technical challenges In all I'm grateful for my life..I'm comfortable financially but I should be in a better place by now. Ok bye that's my story. |
Golan007:Then get off my mention let me continue wailing in peace |

![]() “The Nigerian army is deeply saddened by the unfortunate incident in which suspected retreating Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists with a few sleeper cells within communities ambushed and killed innocent women and children in Faduma Koloram village, Gubio LGA of Borno state,” the statement read." What kinda clowns do we have adorning the uniforms of the NA...sleeper cells with armoured tanks and several gun mounted trucks, it appears every attempt made by the Army spokes persons aimed at rationalising BH attacks end up ridiculing the military in more ways. |

[[s]quote author=Olominira post=90536736]The Nigeria govt needs an holistic national orientation for all her citizens especially the young people like myself. Buhari is one of the most intelligent leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large even though his weaknesses are very obvious. When people compare Buhari to a Dumb racist spearheading things over here, this shows people lack basic understanding of things. He called Buhari lifeless, just because he refused to sign a free trade agreement with the US. He thought Buhari lacks basic understanding of economics. While shouting China...China...China,..... and all the tweeting and noise. Tesla moved a whooping of $250bn to Shanghai to build Tesla Gigantic Auto plant. A big step towards America becoming importer of Tesla cars just Apple phones, GM, etc. Buhari, the so called dullard, secured deals with same China to set up a train assembly plant and a University in Nigeria. A step towards industrialized Nigeria. If not for weak institutions in Nigeria, Buhari's performance would be making global headline news. Edited: Tesla investment in China is about $5bn, kindly correct that not 250.
[/s] Balderdash |
vedaxcool:This guy up here exemplifies the very term delusion of grandeur.....and how has your life been since your master stroke Buhari took over the helm of affairs. Mr. Man Tell that economist you are attributing those projections to, that I said he is Madt for.messing up your head. |
[[s]quote author=naijaboy756 post=90532473]Can we cause this to trend and see if our leaders will have sense? Can we go on a commission spree of all bad roads within our neighborhood and post on social media. Maybe they will have shame and fix them. This shouldn't be about tribe o. All Nigerians. This cause can unite us against our demonic leaders.
[/s] Mr man gaan get yourself a job ...this your statement is as a result of idleness. |
![]() This is very ingenious and a far better way to protest against government neglect...politicians need to be shamed this way to wake up from their slumber. .
