Who are your fathers? Biko nu?

Ask your voodoo gods who kicked their asses all across the globe: from Eurasia across the Himalayas and Mediterranean to Persia to Mesopotamia to Africa across the Atlantic to the Americas. Ask them who made them bleed and beg as they crawled wounded back to the hell they came from, while your sorcerers watched in frightful despair and utter disbelief as they were burnt on stakes. Then they will tell you who our fathers were.

Culture is okay but sorcery is evil. Don't be fooled, there's a huge difference between culture and sorcery, but mixing up the two is how the advocates of sorcery have perpetuated this evil thing for thousands of years. Sorcery and Science: this world isn't big enough for the two of us! For this reason are we here, and whether anyone likes it or not, we will finally do what Mother Nature has always been yearning to do - MAKE YOU EXTINCT!!! Our fathers made your voodoo gods bleed, and made their regal kingdoms slave dungeons; but we'll do what they didn't do - make your voodoo gods die angry.

Well, I'm not aware of Amaechi's book launch, and what I do know is what this article has documented. Regardless, it's not an unavoidable obligation for APC party leaders to have attended the book launch. Whether to attend or not to attend is at their discretion, and I think they have a right to their decision without people casting aspersions on them for their choice.
Politics / Re: 150 Drowned, Others Shot Dead While Running ‪from ‎boko Haram‬ In Yobe by Amazo: 8:18pm On Aug 18, 2015
auntysimbiat:
Residents of Kukuwa-Gari village in Yobe state were thrown into pandemonium as gangs of militants arrived on motorcycles and a car and opened fire of them, local residents said on Tuesday.

Up to 150 people drowned in a river or were shot dead fleeing the insurgents who attacked them on Thursday last week. “They opened fire instantly, which forced residents to flee. They shot a number of people. Unfortunately many residents who tried to flee plunged into the river which is full from the rain. Many drowned,” Modu Balumi, a resident of the village, told newsmen.

“By our latest toll we have 150 people either (shot dead) or drowned in the attack. The gunmen deliberately killed a fisherman who tried to save drowning residents of the village.”  Balumi said the bodies of many of the drowned were picked out by locals several kilometres away.

News of the attack was slow to emerge because the militants have destroyed telecom masts around the village, around 50 kilometres (30 miles) from Yobe State capital Damaturu, since the insurgency began in 2009. “Most residents, particularly women and children, ran towards the river in confusion,”said Bukar Tijjani, another villager, who confirmed the death toll.

“They were pursued by the gunmen who kept firing at them. In the frantic effort to escape they jumped into the river, which was full to the brim.” A local government official confirmed the attack but put the death toll much lower, at around 50.

Massacre

The ambush came during the region’s peak rainy season, when most waterways in northeastern Nigeria are swollen and can flow with dangerous speed. The village was still reeling from a raid by suspected Boko Haram militants on July 31 when at least 10 people were killed by gunmen who burned homes, food silos and livestock.

‎The Gujba area of Yobe state, where Kukuwa-Gari village is located, has been hit hard by Boko Haram violence in the past but had seen relative calm since troops reclaimed it in March. In September 2013 scores of students of an agricultural college in the area were massacred as they slept in their dormitories.

In February last year dozens of students of a boarding secondary school in the main town of Buni Yadi were also killed in a gun attack on their hostels. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for both attacks. The jihadist militia, which has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, has waged a violent campaign for a separate Islamic homeland in the northeast which has seen more than 15,000 deaths since 2009.

The military under President Muhammadu Buhari’s predecessor Goodluck Jonathan was heavily criticised for poor handling of the insurgency and its failure to free more than 200 schoolgirls abducted from the northeastern town of Chibok in April last year.

Nigeria’s new leader, who came to power on May 29 vowing to destroy Boko Haram, replaced his military chiefs last week, ordering them to end the insurgency within three months.

Anti-terror force

Since May, the militants have stepped up their campaign with a wave of raids, bombings and suicide attacks which have left more than 1,000 people dead in Nigeria alone, according to an AFP count.  The Islamists have also carried out deadly ambushes across Nigeria’s borders and in recent weeks suicide bombers, many of them women, have staged several attacks in Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad.

A five-nation regional force of 8,700 troops from Nigeria and its neighbours has been set up to fight Boko Haram and is expected to deploy imminently. Buhari told a national security gathering in Abuja on Monday his government would employ “at least an extra 10,000 police officers” and set up a federal anti-terrorism task force to crush the rebellion.

Chadian leader Idriss Deby declared on August 12 that efforts to combat Boko Haram had succeeded in “decapitating” the group and would be wrapped up “by the end of the year”.

Deby told reporters in the capital N’Djamena that Boko Haram was no longer led by the fearsome jihadist commander Abubakar Shekau and that his successor, whom he named as Mahamat Daoud, was open to talks. But Shekau dramatically rebuffed the claim in an audio recording released on Sunday and authenticated by security analysts, dismissing the Chadian head-of-state as a “hypocrite” and a “tyrant”.

Any government that can't secure the lives and property of its citizens within its borders (at the least) from enemy forces is a failed government. Any army that can't defend the territorial integrity of its country is a failed army. That Boko haram has survived this long is more than sufficient proof that the Nigerian Armed Forces is in dire straits, and in need of total reform. Or how else can you explain why a multi-billion dollar (supposedly) trained forces can't evolve efficient combat strategies to quickly obliterate a ragtag militia group with a predominantly attrition battle strategy? Boko Haram is perhaps like a boys scout in comparison to the Nigeria armed forces for peet's sake! So how a "boy scout" band of rebels have been able to successfully hold their own against the Nigerian Armed forces beats my imagination. Under no circumstances whatsoever is this acceptable, tolerable or pardonable - there's just no excuse whatsoever that can justify it. President Buhari needs to step up his game with lightning speed. No doubt PDP handed over a Nigeria marinated in corruption and insecurity principally to him. How best he solves the "Corruption and Insecurity" plaguing the country at this time will surely define his legacy as the President and CIC of the Federal Republic. How many more citizens are going to die for nothing angry?

http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-leaders-shun-fasholas-book-presentation-in-lagos/

According to this news article, the books were written to honor Fashola, and the books were not authored by Fashola. So why should it be mandatory for APC leaders to attend a book launch by people trying to cash in on Fashola’s legacy as a Lagos State Governor? Just because they had close acquaintances with the former governor and wrote books in his name isn't a free meal ticket for an automatic political stardom.

And it's amazing to see the kind of utterly stupïd comments on this thread. Honestly, I would like to convince myself that some people have a reading problem, because I believe no one should be stupïd to such an extent that you just wish it were some terrible illusion. But I've always said that just when I think I've seen stupidïty at its peak, one (or more) certifiable idiöts show up to prove me wrong. Way to go guys.

Moreover, it's very disheartening to see how some people have so much unmeritable and unjustified political vindictiveness shoved way up in their a$$. Keep on cheerleading your dead PDP party all the way to hell - and have a nice trip! undecided

Dear Boys:
-------------

These type of "nice guys" will never learn undecided

FACT #1: Women subconsciously "hate" nice guys. There's an innate mental coding hidden within the psyche of women that makes them detest and gravitate away from nice guys to the guys "who don't play nice" - if you catch my point. Women subconsciously find "nice guys" irritable and a woman will start pulling away once she can rationalize a man as being a "nice guy" because he was consistently acting nice to her. Even they can't really explain it, and most are not even aware of this subconscious behavior because it's a trait that has to do with genetic evolution (spanning thousands of years) of the woman's mind to selecting male partners. Amongst other things, the innate genetic coding of a woman's mind dictates to her subconsciously that "nice guys" are genetically weak and "un-nice" guys are genetically strong; and also in contrast, nice guys aren't smart, but "un-nice" guys are smart...and so on. Hence, their choice to not select nice guys because the innate genetic coding instructs them that "nice guys" aren't suitable for breeding to create a stronger offspring etc!

Women might tell you otherwise with words that they like "nice guys", but don't fall for that fancy hypocrisy and double-standards nature women in general have. Emotionally, what women preach is one thing; but what they practice is a completely different thing due to their innate mental coding, which controls their choices and actions on a subconscious level. If a girl sticks around with a "nice guy", it's because of the financial and/or other benefits she's getting for that period; and once she no longer needs him for that, she'll dump him cold.

The scientifically modern man has been in existence for thousands of years, but I still can't fathom why some people keep falling for the same old tricks in the game called "love". Wake up "nice guys", how long will these women continue breaking your hearts? Stop being so exceptionally stupïd - it's so irritating angry

NB: Per the case in question, she's not refusing marriage because the guy has OND or inadequate educationally. She's dumping him because he's a nice guy; and yes, she just finds that irritating!

FACT #1: women cheat more than men ever do
FACT #2: women are more adept at covering their "cheating sprees" because of the moral burden of society and the accompanying stigma to label them as sluts, which is deemed ignoble. But these things barely apply to men and so are under less pressure to cope with such; and men are also prone to reveal their "cheating spree" because it's seen as a thing of ego, a flagrant showoff to prove their manliness amongst their peers. Not when she already knows and is fully confident she has püssy whipped her man. When a woman is in total control in a relationship, and can even bet on it that a guy isn't going to leave her if she messes up, then it's only a natural occurrence for her to throw her weight around - this is an expected outcome. Same thing applies to us alphas. I don't usually password my phone and it's mostly accessible. Whatever any woman sees in there is her problem, not mine. My friend’s wedding is coming up by next month. I am to be one of his men in suit.

I noticed they are quarreling recently. He opened up to me yesterday.

They are looking for a DJ to play at their reception, so his wifeToBe got a number of one DJ, added him on whatsap and they started chatting. My guy trusted the lady that she is just doing business chat with the DJ.

One day, my friend was going through her whatsapp chat with the DJ. The WifeTB told the DJ that she needs the service of the DJ for her friend’s wedding. She didn’t tell the DJ she is actually the one wedding.

The DJ started asking her out for date. She agreed to meet the DJ for a date somewhere.

My guy saw all that, yet he kept quiet and didn’t want to raise the issue with the lady as their wedding is close, before people start saying he is jealous, he is spying on his girl blahblah.

But my friend could not endure the whole thing again when the DJ started calling her repeatedly. They engage in confidential phone calls. She will be laughing…all Yes No Yes No Ok.. Ok hmmmm conversation, so that someone nearby will not understand what they are saying. At times she excuses my guy to go and pick the DJ’s call.
My guy finally confronted her, why all conversations with the DJ are not business and formal. Why is she hiding things from him?

The wifetobe went mad she alleged my guy is jealous, wrongly suspecting her.

My friend told her, he actually read their chats where they agreed to go out on a date.
That’s when she admitted that he actually asked her to meet him somewhere for a hangout.
She said she had nothing in mind for him. She is only going to meet him as friend at a restaurant. Nothing is going to happen. It’s just a harmless date.

My friend opened up to me that he regretted making decision to marry her. He told me a lot of things that he can’t cancel the wedding again. He will be part of the wedding, but after the wedding, he will start f***cking girls. He will make life difficult for her.

I told him, it’s better to remain single than to go into a hateful marriage.
Deep down in me, I can’t advise him to cancel the wedding.
I have summoned them for a meeting to discuss it and settle it. But that lady can be arrogant at times. My peace meeting may or may not be successful.

Is it normal for a lady to go out on a date with another guy just a month to her wedding?

Once a slut, always a slut undecided. This is what happens when you're the "needy" half in a relationship, you'll get pussywhipped - a lesson for the naive / stupïd men out there.

GLeesMODEL:
If you recall in 2014, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Anita, who now goes by her maiden name Ebhodaghe caused quite a stare when news of divorce between the two hit the net.

The divorce was filed in April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, United Kingdom on the grounds of "unreasonable behaviour" and for the first time since that divorce, Anita is now speaking.

Anita took to her blog to discuss how her life has been changing as of late making some serious references to her marriage as she wrote. She wrote:

It is my desire to reach out and inspire you especially if you feel vulnerable and in need of a change. I hope to inspire you to believe in yourself no matter the circumstances. I want to help you recreate your life going forward, so you can live beautifully. I have been through this journey of rediscovery and nothing is as beautiful as realising one’s uniqueness as I have done. Life is a precious however, your life can go through different seasons: winter, spring, summer or autumn. Life can hit you with financial loss, disappointments, death of a loved one, a broken relationship, loss of a job, a divorce, being falsely accused or being a victim of crime. These can shatter you to pieces but you can do something about it.

Life is a gift from God and you deserve to be happy irrespective of your age, race, gender, background or financial situation. I urge you to appreciate the gift you are, you are precious and valuable. Never lose sight of who you are; begin to create new visions and dreams for your life. Let nothing stop you from growing every day. My story is not one of a bed of roses, far from it but I had a choice to either beat myself over the regret of tolerating abuse for so long or put a stop to the abuse and recreate my life for the best. My journey was not in vain. I can now help others realise that their situation does not define them.

In order to move on with life, I have come to realise that nothing is permanent. Your problem is not permanent; you can do something to change it by ensuring you do not allow the situation or the person make your life miserable. Pain is a fact of life, it is inevitable but suffering is optional. You can do something to change the pain by over looking every obstacle, take control as a force of nature to grow and expand. Do what is necessary now to use the gift God has given you to unleash your purpose.

My message to all is simple: you have value therefore discover your potential. Do not allow anybody destroy you or rob you of living a joyful life. Your life is not wasted; you have just started a different phase of life. God will show you how to use your testimony to help others and restore their lives to exuberance. Please join me to encourage and inspire others. You have a story to tell, you can contribute and participate in the dialogues here. Let us all learn from one another’s experience and reach others with the gift of love and kindness. Share your experience by emailing me or making a comment. Celebrate your uniqueness because there is only one of you.

Politics / Re: Buhari Seeks Fearless Judges to try looters by Amazo: 12:31pm On Aug 17, 2015
presentley:
President Muhammadu Buhari has commenced the process of identifying a few fearless and courageous judges who will be saddled with the responsibility of prosecuting persons who have been found to have stolen national resources, THE PUNCH has learnt.

Buhari had while granting audience to members of the National Peace Committee led by Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar in the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday disclosed that the prosecution of the indicted persons would commence in a matter of weeks.

“Those who have stolen the national wealth will be in court in a matter of weeks and Nigerians will know those who have short-changed them,” the President had told his guests.

Our correspondent however learnt on Sunday that the prosecution would not be open to “just any judge.”

It was learnt that the President was committed to ensuring that only judges who would expedite action on the cases and would be fearless in discharging their duties would be enlisted for the prosecution.

A source confided in our correspondent that that was one of the assignments Buhari gave to the Prof. Itse Sagay-led Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption which he set up on Monday.

The source said it would not be necessary to set up special courts to try corruption cases since efforts were already underway to identify judges that would key into the President’s dream of ensuring that no looter was left unpunished.

He said, “We do not need to entertain any fear that the prosecution of corruption-related cases will not be fast enough because many of our courts are already weighed down by many cases.

“The truth of the matter is that not all judges will be considered to take up the cases of those who have stolen our commonwealth.

“As a matter of fact, one of the assignments the President gave the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption led by Prof. Sagay is to identify fearless and courageous judges that will handle the cases.

“The idea is to ensure that the judges who will handle the cases will not be just any judges. They must be those who will expedite actions on the cases and discharge their duties with courage.

“You can see that with this development, the issue of special courts for corruption cases may not come. It is about special judges.”

Our correspondent also gathered that Buhari was already considering withdrawing national honours from any individual found to have looted the nation’s treasury.

It was learnt that the President’s position was that the nation should not be seen to be honouring any fruadulent person.

“The President will not hesitate to strip any corrupt person of national honour. Can you honour a person for milking the nation dry? It is irrelevant how long such persons have been bestowed with the national honours, they will be stripped of them,” the source said.

When contacted, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said it was reasonable that anybody found to be corrupt should be stripped of national honours.

Adesina however said such withdrawal of national honours would not be done until affected persons had been convicted by competent courts.

“Although it has not been considered, it is reasonable that those found guilty of corruption should be stripped of national honours bestowed on them. However, this will not be done before conviction,” the presidential spokesman said.

While announcing the establishment of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption on Monday, Adesina had said its brief was to advise the present administration on the prosecution of the war against corruption and the implementation of required reforms in Nigeria’s criminal justice system.

He said the committee was also saddled with the responsibility of developing comprehensive interventions for achieving the recommended reforms.

EXCLUSIVE:Nigeria's President, Buhari Dump $182M Halliburton Bribe Scandal Report...Conspiracy of Retired Army Generals prompt Aso Rock back down*IBB, OBJ, Abdusalami Angle* “We're probing Jonathan's Govt”-Presidency*“Probing my govt witch hunt"-GEJ

Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari surely meant well for the Nigerian people. His integrity, discipline and avowed commitment to fight, name and shame corruption had never been in doubt since Nigerians have high hopes in his administration to ‘fight corruption among the elites’, in a bid to free Nigeria’s economy from Kleptomaniac. As it is a fad that “when you fight corruption, surely corruption will fight back,” aptly captures the trending conspiracy of few Nigerian Army Generals (retired) and former Heads of State who allegedly prompted Buhari to ‘let-off’ his earlier, intentional investigation of $182million Halliburton bribe scandal, so he may continually ‘govern Nigeria in peace’.

CNN iReport gathered that few weeks before Buhari made his maiden visit to United States, words reached him that few retired Army Generals who were erstwhile Heads of State were allegedly not happy with the planned moves by the no-nonsense disciplinarian to re-open the Halliburton scandal, with the sole intention to expose, disgrace and prosecute some of culpable generals and other highly-placed Nigerians whose hands may have been ‘soiled’ by the cookie-jar of corruption in Bonny Island Liquefied Natural Gas Project.

As such, after General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), a former Nigeria’s Head of State received a phone call from from General Olusegun Obasanjo, also a former Nigeria’s president where he brought the attention of IBB to the fact that they way Buhari was going about corruption-fight, he would eventually probe the majority of past administration, including IBB era. This position was echoed by another Nigerian Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubakar; which prompted a conspiracy theory to ‘place Buhari in order’. Abdusalami had visited IBB in his Minna Castle in Niger State, there it was concluded that IBB should stylishly pass on their position to Buhari to halt his earlier intended probe of his predecessors.

In a press statement issued by IBB through his media adviser, Prince Kassim Afegbua, it reportedly reads: “On General Buhari, it is not in IBB’s tradition to take up issues with his colleague former president. But, for the purpose of the record, we are conversant with General Buhari’s so-called holier-than-thou-attitude. He is a one-time minister of petroleum and we have good records of his tenure. Secondly, he also presided over Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) which records we also have. We challenge him to come out in clean hands in those two portfolios he headed. Or, we will help him to expose his records of performance during those periods. Those who live in glass houses do not throw stones. General Buhari should be properly guided.”

CNN iReport gathered when intelligence report reached Buhari on the position of these retired Army Generals and former Heads of State, and bearing in mind how mean they can fully engage him in ‘dirty-fight’ which may ridicule him in the eyes of Nigerians and expose his stewardship then as Minister of Petroleum in 1976 that led to the mysterious disappearance of a whooping US $2.8 Billion from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC account in Midlands Bank, United Kingdom allegedly under his watchful eyes, Buhari quickly made a detour and issued a press statement through Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser, Media & Publicity claiming the investigation of Buhari administration would only be limited to his predecessor, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GEJ, the man who honorably handed peacefully to Buhari on May 28, 2015 at Eagle Square so Nigeria may remain united as an indivisible nation.

For the records, Buhari was appointed Minister of Petroleum in 1976 under the Murtala/Obasanjo administration. Not much is known about any scandals that occured during his tenure as Minister, but there are rumors of the mysterious disappearance of US$2.8 Billion from the NNPC account in Midlands Bank in the United Kingdom, during Buhari’s stewardship. Now that IBB has threatened to expose him, it lends a certain credibility to the rumors indicting Buhari of grand graft.

As if Jonathan knew that this would happen. In the last days of his administration as president in Aso Rock villa on May 27, 2015 during Federal Executive Council valedictory session witnessed by big-wigs of Peoples Democratic Party, he said “Some people are even calling for the probe of the government, but I think in Nigeria, there are a lot of many things that will be probed, very many things, even debts owed by states and debts owed by this country from 1960 up to this time. They say it is Jonathan’s administration that accrued these debts,” Jonathan said.

“I believe that anybody that is coming for probe must also ensure that this probe is extended beyond the Jonathan administration. Otherwise, to me, it will be a witch-hunt. If we are very sincere, it is not only the Jonathan administration that should be probed.”

CNN iReport investigation showed that Jonathan administration may have been singled-out as ‘corrupt government’ due to the fact that he was a minority-leader from Niger-Delta and obviously not a military, but a civilian leader. There are feelers from some Nigerians that this probe may not have happened if Jonathan had been a retired Army General.

For Folu Adewope, an undergraduate of University of Texas Arlington, UTA, her words: “This is obviously a witch-hunt, charade and selective humiliation with ethnic coloration under corruption-guise. I strongly believe this investigation would not have happened if Jonathan had hailed from the North and had been a retired Army General. Why can’t Buhari open the Halliburton scandal, and openly prosecute Obasanjo, Abdusalami, Atiku Abubakar, a former Nigeria’s Vice president and every other corrupt Nigerians named in the scandal. As Nigerians, we are interested in this case.”

Recently on his Facebook wall-page, Femi Adeshina, special aide to the president on media and publicity, said: “It would be a distraction for the President to begin digging into all former administrations, but for a proper take off of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, there is need to look into the immediate past government (Jonathan’s). We are interested in investigating Jonathan’s government to recover stolen funds”.

International Community watch in Disbelief
As at the time of going to the press, members of International Community, particularly the United States government is shocked that Buhari ought not to leave any stone unturned in fighting corruption no matter whose ox is gored. The Halliburton bribery scandal is seen by members of international community as a litmus test for Buhari to prove his desire effectively to combat corruption among the elites in Nigeria.

Seun Osewa I'll reiterate that it has become imperative for you to run an IQ test before appointing your moderators, lest the integrity of the Nairaland FP be further enmeshed with utter mediocrity and falsehood more than it already has. Imagine the nonsensical mischievousness whereby an unverifiable "iReport" has been moved to the FP and being fed to the public as authentic news, without a disclaimer notice attached directly to the post by Nairaland. As a matter of fact, iReport as originally designed by CNN is to enable the public send in their own verifiable news story as they witnessed it happen live and supply evidences like video recordings....etc to back up such claims, or provide the means to have such claims verified. No evidences were provided to allow the verification of this report; hence, a glaring, blatant, unambiguous, and unmistakable disclaimer was attached by CNN directly to the report because they understand the legal consequences of libelous publications without any justification and means of verification.

It has come to our attention that several credible news topics in the politics section are left in perpetual obscurity but a beer-palor tale is hurriedly, at lightning speed, moved to the front page just because it portrays the Buhari administration in bad light and casts aspersions on the president's integrity and anti-corruption stance. I sincerely hope Barrister Francis will come to your aid when the need arises. For those that don't know who this outstanding legal luminary is, Barrister Francis is the self-acclaimed imaginary fictitious first-class Law graduate of Unilorin, to mention a few of his academic accolades; and he is perhaps Nairaland's legal hero. Because that your moderator gleefully, albeit with bottomless stupidïty, put his scam on the FP for a considerable amount of time significant enough to have misinformed the public and caused rancor as it did. Your moderator willingly gave an obvious fraudster the most undeserved ever 5-minutes of fame on Nairaland, simply because his article was against Sahara Reporters. This makes it glaring to rightly deduce that the said idiötic moderator, whomever it is, likely despises Sahara Reporters so much and possibly has political vendetta against the media outfit to warrant such an action. There's a big difference between freedom of speech and libel. Freedom of speech must be protected, supported and promoted at all costs; but libel must be rescinded. This iReport constitutes as a libel. There are grave consequences for publicizing libel.

Joke aside, let's be realistic here....many individuals would fail this, but from my mathematical knowledge,d solvings shld go thus 3+3*3-3+3=? Therefore, 3+(9)-3+3 {as 3*3=9}. 3+9-3+3 where -3+3=0. 3+9+0. =12. That's all!!! Representing Rochas Okorocha of imo state (PA to the governor on mathematics affairs).

wake me up from a deep sleep
3+3*3-3+3,

3+(3*3)-(3+3),

3+9-3-3,

3+9-6,

12-6=6
d ansa remains d same

Introducing the parentheses wrongly is where you missed it. The correct way should be thus:
3 + (3 * 3) - 3 + 3
3 + 9 - 0 = 12

Not this kind of pain, I suggest you read up or watch videos of boot camps of the US marine, even elite units like the Navy seals, spf and the rest if u have the time, compare the training to Nigeria's. While the American soldier is being trained for combat, his Nigerian counterpart is learning how to whip the Citizens he is meant to defend and protect in the streets.

Did you just mention "Navy Seals" shocked shocked, as in the most elite special forces on the planet Don't even go there grin.

SERE is a training program for special units
Level A: Basic entry training
Level B: evasion and survival training.
Level C: detainment, interrogation resistance (torture training)...etc

SERE is required for all US Army Special Forces. Some special forces units go through level C, because it's not sufficient to just know how to evade, but must also know how to resist the enemy forces if captured. But as far as the World's Best Elite Military SF team is concerned, Level C SERE (torture training / Phase 3) is COMPULSORY for Navy SEALS Training.

Unless you're in the system, you can't access the training module for Level C SERE because it's classified info.

I saw the below equation on First Bank BBM channel and what i saw with great dismay was the poor answers people were writing. Seriously our arithmetical knowledge needs to be awaken because i can't see a nation developing with poor analytical skills especially with simple equation.

So Nairaland members lets see those with good knowledge of arithmetic and those who will embarrass their parents.

Hey Mr military man, we "bloody civilians" know what discipline means. We also know torture and inhuman treatment when we see one.

Food for your thoughts: ever wondered why the US military despite its high standards of discipline never indulge in physical abuse of its men?

Discipline is not inflicting corporal punishment. QED.

The US government up till date practices what is called "advanced interrogation techniques". Trust me, it's just a fancy beautiful name for "excruciating torture".

The best Military around the world undergo rigorous training that push their body to the limit, it is more or less a workout on the extreme side, this picture right here is pure nonsense, purposefully inflicting arm and bringing dis-figuration to the body is madness, what is this preparing them for?
I guess to be captured by Enemies and tortured?

It's called taking a soldier's ability to withstand pain to the highest limits possible. A soldier is the result of taking a man and converting him through certain processes into a "war machine". The more he becomes numb to pain, the more efficient a soldier can be. Don't judge military life from a civilian perspective. Leave them be.
