budaatum: Dems fuqed up with Biden big time and look to be handing America over to dump.
Maybe this was what those who live in America knew that we who don't didn't know that made them scared all along, because a shaky old Biden would find it hard to beat dump. And Kamala even impossible. And moving her aside is kill Blue.
4 years of dump pussy grabbing is gonna yuk. Biden is going to win. I don't know why you all are being pessimistic. This is not even an informed take but it is your opinion. Biden will win. |

folake4u: Lol yes. For all lawyers who want to migrate via Permanent Residency route, you'd evaluate your LLB (but not with WES oh. You'd use IQAS, CES or ICES evaluation bodies). These bodies evaluate your LLB degree as a Professional degree/it is in the same category of Masters via evaluation. It gives more points.
WES evaluates LLB as merely a Bachelors degree. Lol, not only for Nigerian lawyers. So many people around the world that have LLB sometimes ditch WES and use the other evaluation bodies I mentioned above.
There's even a court judgment that WES should recognise LLB as a professional degree, but them nor dey hear sometimes except you challenge them. Who get time for that nonsense?
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/llb-evaluation-question.464132/
You're only evaluating your LLB and not Law School certificate. Oh ok, I don't plan on going as a lawyer sha but this might be a good idea. Thank you. I will read it up and see if I can include it in my options. |

folake4u: Thank you for bringing this to my notice, Topaz. I deeply appreciate that.
I checked the Wikipedia page you shared with me and I'm seeing that you can't use that degree to practice as a lawyer but a paralegal or legal assistant.
In other words, LLB Supremacy. For America and Canada and some other jurisdictions na JD Supremacy. I get you jaare |

cococandy: You’re right. It will be a sight to behold. America wasn’t even ready for Mrs Clinton. They’ll chew grass before they accept a Kamala presidency. True, they haven't even accepted that a Black man defeated two white men twice that was why they backed that fraud in 2016. They have not recovered from that episode. They will go into a coma if Harris becomes President. That was what Nikki Haley was trying to do in the primaries to scare racists into supporting her and scare monger on Harris forgetting that she is also Indian like Kamala and that no amount of changing her name from Nimrata to Nikki will ever change that. |

cococandy: I’ll be hopeful too because the alternative is dreadful I also think the attack against his candidacy has intensified because of a potential President Harris and for White folks the heavens and god forbid that we get a President Harris. The first woman President cannot simply be a woman of colour. |

Timiofak: Lol, I'm on to bigger things these days.
But it's simple for me. Biden has better chances than Kamala, the war in Palestine and age are putting a dent in Biden
But I still somewhat believe he would win. Same here, I am no longer active here because of other commitments but I will find time to contribute once in a while and hopefully be terminally online throughout election day and collation of results. Wishing you the best in your pursuits. I share same sentiments, even the Gaza war dent is among Jewish voters who actually vote alongside moderate voters not the far-left clowns. I am still optimistic that he will win but Democrats are truly spineless, foolishly eating on their own with less than 4 months to go. A shame. |
Family › Re: Why Are Men Outraged Over Paternity Fraud? by AmazonTopaz(op): 10:50pm On Jul 09, 2024 |
cococandy: I’m glad you asked because I share the same sentiments
Democrats irk me to no end. I know it’s true democracy to be able to criticize your own and hold them accountable when they falter. But sometimes one has to learn to take a step back from all the criticism for the greater good. They truly will let this asinine power hungry evil man called Trump win again because they can’t get themselves together and support Biden despite his imperfections.
Don’t underestimate the power of republican propaganda. Those people know how to play the long game. That’s why I’m not surprised when I come to NL and I see black Africans heartily regurgitating conservative ideas. Their brainwashing reach is long and deep. That’s why I won’t be surprised if Trump wins again.
The more “reasonable” right wingers who understand how terrible this project is, would rather deny that it’s a republican end game than admit that’s how awful their party is.
I’m truly afraid. America could very well be a handmaid’s tale come true in no time. I want to be hopeful. You know what annoys me? These Christian nationalists are the minority yet they somehow claim power? How? How dumb can Americans be, Democrats are spineless, my money is on Biden to win but they need to get their act together. The end of Roe(abortion) is a key issue use it, the unpopular SCOTUS attack them. Trump should not be polling ahead of Biden. I don't read too much meaning to polls they were way wrong in 2016. I feel the polls are overestimating Trump because they underestimated him in 2016 and 2020. Even the primary polling this year overestimated him. These signs plus the primary raw vote gives me hope that Biden can win since Democrats have done relatively well post Dobbs despite polling. They better not mess it up. A second Trump term is scary as hell for the entire world. |

@Cococandy, since you live in the USA. What is the situation like regarding project 2025 and the election spirit in general? I go to US Twitter and see the feed. I knew about project 2025 around late last year and I am glad that it is now being talked about in the U.S. mainstream. The people I know who live there are riding with Biden. I just want to know if the threat of Trump and his party is being taken seriously because I have no idea why Democrats want to eat themselves out over a poor debate performance when their opponents are literally nominating a career criminal in their convention next week. Biden has to win if Trump wins no japa to USA for me. |

Talk true, wetin Trúmp do you😂😂😂 Na hateful man na. He has no qualities of a leader.I go soon japa go US but make I use Canada first and if Trump and him people enter na bad market for me and people like me. I have disliked him since 2015 when he started campaigning a liar, racist, fraud, cheat, divider etc you name it. He is a terrible man who has no principles and him and his party have no business in the White House. You can google Project 2025 their vision for America is deadly and I wan go USA go study American Law (JD) in the coming years, Insha Allah. If Trump wins I might have a rethink because then the U.S. Supreme Court will be lost. I follow American law. I check them out in my free time. Nothing concern me and Nigerian law. |

ijebosb: It was 6-3 for. But this is just a push, I think for the General election, not to elevate abortion anymore. They haven't decided the merits of it. This shouldn't be a hard case. Federal Law trumps State law. Jackson voted for it, but wrote a partial dissent. It's a good read. The political SCOTUS is waiting till after the election. Justice Jackson did not mince words. |
