Removing subsidy was a bad plan for a country that has no streamlined transport sector, an economy driven by the informal sector
Bhet some agbado economists thought they knew better, inflation will hit high heavens, the government is not in charge of the economy, they can only control registered businesses and even they suck at that
We just pray it doesn't get worse sha, cos everything has tripled in price and sellers still threatening on increasing prices. |

Throwback: Oga you have no choice, so stop lamenting and stomach it like you would have if it was Obi in power as he also promised.
You survived the cash scarcity that Obi favoured, you must survive this subsidy removal also favoured by Obi during his unsuccessful campaign. One attribute of agbado supporters is senselessness If you have a car that you fuel, you will not be saying this nonsense |

The thing is there are lots of building materials store right now in some of the axis you will be venturing and they all belong to an association, so you must stand out to get a headway
Plus voodooism is rampant among them here, so you have to be on top of your game always
You need to also make quick relationships with site workers and promise them some commission si they can refer you to some of their client
By and large it is very profitable business if you know your onions
Ogun state is blessed with so many new sites and work constantly goes on there. |

Politics › Re: 12 Million Households To Get ₦8,000 For Six Months, Says Tinubu by ambale(m): 2:30pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
Iamgrey5: I don't like this type of palliatives. It's definitely going to end up in some people's pockets.
Jonathan tried it and it failed, Buhari tried it and it failed. Tinubu should not end up like those two.
We can't afford another looting bonanza in this country.
Palliatives should be inform
>A scheme to convert 1000 public taxis to CNG from petroleum engines at half the price across the federation and Making CNG readily available
>Create Industrial zones in the six geo political zone and encourage manufacturing of Agro products by giving tax holidays for a five year period for prospective investors.
>Grant Solar companies like SUNKING tax breaks and finance in other to reduce the cost of those solar kits for homes and small businesses (This takes care of generators to an extent)
> Funds to encourage state governments to procure big luxurious buses for cheap transportation.
> Increment in minimum wage.
> Tax reduction for manufacturing businesses already operating in Nigeria.
Those palliatives are not only very different from our regular approach but they also encourages production. These ones wont be needing them borrowing that much now Let baba boys collect their first cash out since election now |

He would borrow but in his word not a penny would be used for consumption
Strictly for production
Thanks to Peter obi I looked up those countries there are so many things Africa imports that we can produce here
Clothes Shoes Bags Pots Plates Breakpad Pressure pots
Skills that won't take 2 months to teach our people It is saddening that in 2023, Nigerian governments still want to be handing out crumbs to the citizens I don cross leg dey look the movie sha |

Politics › Re: JUST IN: Tinubu Looks For New Senate Endorsement For $800 Million World Bank Cre by ambale(m): 1:41pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
mrvitalis: This is where I have fundamental issues with APC ideology and one of the main reason I withdraw my support
Transferring 8000 to 12 ,million people for 6 months
That's 96 billion.... Gone the same 12 million people would still remain poor, no increased productivity, no increased revenue... We would have spent 96 billion and achieved nothing in 6 months
Let's assume corruption was not an issue does that even make any sense economically?
Like obi said if u just look at Bangladesh, Perkistain ,Vietnam etc you would see village bases industries... Sighted and employs people from villages
96 billion can set up 180 of this industries, from garment factories, to basic agro processing, to chemical production, to semi finished product production
This can create 20 jobs permanent for each factory 3600 people permanently removed from the poverty index... Over 100 billion added to the economy..... Yes less people benefited but the results is permanent
Sighting factories like this also widens the tax next increasing revenue
Again what do I know Nigeria and Nigerians missed a window that might not come again How on earth did we choose this over productivity? Imagine having large local based companies, just imagine the level of development that would come with it Bhet agents of poverty no go like gree now |
