OKOROCHA DARES UZODINMA OVER PROBE

...Heads to Court to stop Imo panel

Having consistently refused to appear before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry on Contracts Awarded by him during his Administration as Governor and having also failed to get the Presidency and the National Leadership of APC to prevail on the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma to Disband the Commission, Sen Rochas Okorocha has dragged the Imo State Governor, the Chairman (Hon. Justice Benjamine Iheka) and members of the Commission to the Imo State High Court.

In the Originating Summons with Suit No: HOW/260/2020, Sen. Rochas is asking the court to disband the Commission or Nullify whatever will be their recommendation against him. Imo state government is yet to react to this development at the time of filing this report. Let see how the state government will handle the issue against a social disservice and fraud case of this magnitude. Imo people are watching.
