In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka said Sanusi has proven to be one committed Nigerian, who continues to work tirelessly in moving the country forward. “On this day, I join millions of Nigerians, especially members of our party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in congratulating and celebrating our State Chairman on his birthday anniversary. “Chief Yemi Sanusi has proven his mettle as a leader with an uncommon sense of patriotism. “He has brought his experience of decades and political sagacity to bear in leading the APC to victory during the 2019 general elections. His firm commitment to party supremacy and discipline is a trait that many do not have,” Isiaka said. Also describing him as a pragmatic leader, Isiaka described the APC Chairman as one individual that has weathered the storm in difficult circumstances and has come out stronger and has remained ever determined to ensure the continuous unity and harmony among members of the APC. |
Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has advocated the management of the funds for ecological challenges in the country by states rather than the Federal Government. He expressed worry over the current situation where the ecological fund was managed in Abuja by people that know little or nothing about the ecological problems of the states. Diri spoke at Government House, Yenagoa, when he hosted members of the House of Representatives Committee on Ecological Fund. A statement on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Daniel Alabrah, quoted the governor as expressing appreciation to the committee for the visit, saying Bayelsa State needed sufficient ecological fund given its numerous environmental challenges. He described the ecological committee of the House of Reps as germane to Bayelsa given the fact that the state was below sea level and had many ecological problems. Diri said, “I appeal that if we want this country to develop, then we have to sit up as legislators so that at the end of the day, the executive arm will know that there is an arm of government that has been given that responsibility to oversight and ensure that there are checks and balances. “These ecological issues are actually in the states but ecological funds are in the centre and managed by people who do not know anything about the ecological problems. So when we talk about the ecological problems we have in our states, they do not understand.” The governor, who noted that Nigeria would be a better place to live in if legislators lived up to expectation, described the legislative arm of government as the bastion of democracy given its constitutional powers. The chairman, House Committee on Ecological Fund, Isiaka Ibrahim, had said they were in the state as part of their oversight function with a view to seeking areas of partnership with the state government. He expressed the readiness of members of the committee to help the governor succeed and urged him to feel free to approach the committee for support in areas within its power.

As a philanthropist and grassroots lover, Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid popularly known as Attacker has promised to take care of little Pelumi's education. The Group Managing Director of Adron Homes And Properties Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing , has called on Muslims nationwide to use the opportunity of Eid-el-Maolid celebration to fast and pray in the wake of massive violence in some part of the country occasioned by #EndSARS protests. EmmanuelKing Adetola said it is only with prayers and conviction that the energy of all and sundry could be channeled towards moving the country forward. This was contained in a goodwill message sent to adherents of the Islamic faithful on the occasion of Eid el- Maolud (birthday of Prophet Muhammad) celebration on Thursday. Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing implored the Muslims to pray fervently for continued well-being of Nigeria. .....Separate Protesters from Hoodlums Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid has condemned wanton killings and the use of Live ammunition against peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos and other parts of the country on Tuesday. According to Hon. Adekoya, “the protesters in Lekki have demonstrated in the last thirteen days that protests can be as peaceful as there was no record of violence recorded against them; instead they have held their protests peacefully in a Carnival-like manner. It is however unthinkable that Security Operatives who are being paid to protect Nigeria and its citizens will turn their guns against the same people that they are being paid to protect. “I wept for the first time in the last forty years seeing images of peaceful protesters being mowed down by elements of the the Sate Security Operatives while those who attacked police men, burnt down police stations, carted away guns and ammunitions and setting prisoners free walks away free. “I am particularly worried about what a country we are leading as leaders where disproportionate forces will be unleashed against the same citizens that we swore to protect. Citizens of Hong Kong have been protesting about their Constitutional status for several months now, and we have not heard of any use of lethal weapons to disperse them. “One would have thought that our Security Agencies can be more professional on intelligence gathering to separate peaceful demonstrators from rioters and hoodlums who are taking opportunities of the protests to causing mayhems, attacking police stations and burning properties.

The news coming out of Akoko in Ondo State, where the thugs of the All Progressives Congress’ Rotimi Akeredolu, under his supervision, ran amok in front of the Oba's palace, shooting and destroying the vehicles of his rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party, requires the attention of all men of goodwill, especially President Muhammadu Buhari. History must not repeat itself, as this ugly incident draws my mind back to 1983 when another Owo man was governor like Akeredolu in Ondo State. Those who were around then would shiver when they think back and remember the public disorder that became known as 'wetie'. A piece by Bayo Olupohunda in The Punch of November 8, 2016, captures the issue. “The Second Republic, which was barely four years and three months old, was truncated when the military struck again in December of 1983 to bring to an end another corrupt and violent civilian regime. Once again, Ondo State, which had been carved out of the old Western Region as one of the five states created by former military ruler, Yakubu Gowon, erupted into an orgy of violence during the election of that year. One of Awolowo’s protégés, Adekunle Ajasin, was contesting re-election under the umbrella of the UPN. His deputy, Akin Omoboriowo, who had also fancied his chances had defected to the ruling NPN. "He was backed by the federal might of the Shehu Shagari-led government. At the election, Ajasin had a clear lead, but the NPN, intent on taking the state from the UPN, had put Omoboriowo in a clear lead as a result was being announced. Then, the inevitable happened. The widespread protests that followed the announcement of Omoboriowo turned violent, and the state became a war front. Political thugs and supporters of both parties turned the state into a theatre of war. "There were fears and apprehension as people loyal to one of the parties were targeted and killed. Houses were torched. The security agencies were powerless in a bid to rein in the perpetrators of the violence. In the end, Omoboriowo was driven out of the state and spent some time in exile. The 1983 violence was a repeat of the Western Region crisis. The effect of the violence was instant. It provided a further excuse for the military to put an end to the Second Republic that was already wracked by monumental corruption.” Ondo is different in the Yoruba nation. They have demonstrated the ability to act their intention. They are brave, independent and fearless. Whosoever allows Ondo to go the way of violence risks too much. Mr President, you have a duty to read the riot act to all parties. Ondo must not go to the dogs. Rotimi Akeredolu, lose if you will, and go in peace, that you may salvage whatever is left of your battered image.

Words are simply not enough to glorify Allah's grace, mercy and favour in your life as it has been Him who has kept you to see 80 good, fulfilling and remarkable years on earth. Sen. (Dr) Jubril Martins-Kuye means different things to different people. For me, he is a political icon of inestimable value. No doubt about it that I had been involved in politics in Lagos before 1999. But it was Sen. Jubril Martins-Kuye whom Allah used to take me to national level as *Personal Assistant* as far back as July, 1999. It might suffice to place on record that those of us he took under his wings to Abuja in 1999 have today risen to the peak of political relevance in Nigeria. Indeed, *JMK,* has confirmed that you are not a success until you have successors. He is a great developer of human beings. *JMK* started his leadership journey and history right from his days as a University student when he was the Secretary-General, Student Union Government, University of Ibadan. He is a passionate grassroots politician, an outstanding business man, one man who can go extra-mile for others so far he believes in their course, a founding member of the People's Democratic Party in Ogun State, a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, a Former Minister of Finance (State), a former Minister of Commerce and Industry, and a community leader per excellence. You have not only excelled in politics, economics, commerce and industry alone. You have also been a pious Muslim no wonder you are the Seriki and Aare Muslimi of Ago-Iwoye and Ogun State. In fact, he is a complete persona. Your footprints are unassailable, incontestible and indelible in Ago-Iwoye, your hometown, Ogun State, South-West geopolitical zone and indeed, in Nigeria as a whole. You are a leader whose belief and passion in the Nigerian dream stands him out among his contemporaries. Such outstanding qualities are why we your mentees and followers celebrate you every day. As you therefore turn 80 today, I, *Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid* on behalf of my immediate family members, the good people of Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency join hundreds of thousands of people, friends, colleagues, associates and followers to wish you many more years of Allah's benevolence and compassion on earth. Buruji Kashamu stood tall among equals. He was a rare being whose sense of duty, patriotism, integrity, justice and Omoluabi spirit have no equal. The Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid has expressed shock over the sudden demise of late Oba Olusola Gbadebo Oni, Olu Of Imasayi as he joined his forefathers. Below is the copy of the letter signed by Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (ATTACKER), The Otunba Gbobaniyi of Imasayi The Chairman, Regency Council, Imasayi Kingdom, Yewa North, Ogun State. AS OBA OLUSOLA GBADEBO ONI, ARIBIO III, THE OLU OF IMASAYI JOINS OUR ANCESTORS: MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES It has taken me this long to put words together, days after my amiable Kabiyesi, one who honoured me with the traditional title of Otunba Gbobaniyi, joined our ancestors. I have been shell-shocked by the sudden and untimely demise of a foremost traditional leader whose near-thirty years of reign has been largely remarkable and successful. Alayeluwa ascended the throne of his fathers on 15th September, 1990 as the 15th Olu of Imasayi. He was elevated to a First Class status in July 2005 and till he passed away days ago, he remained a unifying and a rallying point for the good people of Imasayi, Yewa clan and beyond. Kabiyesi, no doubt, has left a vacuum. He brought his vast experience and exposure in the private sector of our economy to bear in his rulership and this explains why his stool was elevated. He is a Royal personage: as he is a fine, amiable, and warm character. This is why Imasayi during his reign witnessed unprecedented growth, development and sustainable peace. The marks are there for all to see. I, Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid, the Otunba Gbobaniyi of Imasayi Kingdom, on behalf of my family, and my people from Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, wish to identify with the good people of Imasayi as I register our condolences with the Royal family, the Regency Council, the entire indigenes and people of Imasayi Kingdom, the good people of Yewa North area of Ogun state on the demise of our Kabiyesi. Imasayi Kingdom will continue to know peace and development long after he joined our ancestors. Please accept as always the assurances of my heartfelt condolences. Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (ATTACKER) Otunba Gbobaniyi of Imasayi

The Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid has sent his condolence message to the family of the late Oba Busari Adelere Adetona Orimadegun III as he joined his forefathers. Below is the copy of the letter signed by Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (ATTACKER), The Otunba Tadese of Afonland The Chairman, Regency Council of AFON land, Afon Kingdom, Imeko-Afon Local Government, Ogun State. AS OBA BUSARI ADELERE ADETONA, ORIMADEGUN III, JOINS OUR ANCESTORS: MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES While I was still grieving the passing away of Oba Olusola Gbadebo Oni, the Olu of Imasayi, the news of the passing on to glory of OBALADI of AFON Kingdom hit me like a thunderbolt. This no doubt is one loss too many. But who are we to question Almighty Allah? Kabiyesi ascended the throne of his fathers on August 18th, 2008 and in the course of his reign he decorated and honoured me as Otunba Tadese of Afon Land., a feat that confirms him till tomorrow as a traditional leader who was well-travelled, well-vast, and highly connected. No wonder, his Kingdom within the near-twelve years of his enthronment witnessed unprecedented and enviable growth, development and lasting peace. Indeed, Kabiyesi left us at the age of 62 which we consider as untimely, but we relish in the fact that he left uncommon legacies, fond memories and indelible landmark achievements which will forever outlive him. Afon land will forever miss his spiritual, political, economic and traditional contributions towards the town and the entire Ogun West. Though I grieve, it is a honour that I, Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid on behalf of my family, the good people of Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside, Federal Constituency, wish to identify with the Royal family, Regency Council, Afon people, and the entire people of Imeko-Afon Local Government at this sober moment while we pray that Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala grant our amiable Kabiyesi eternal rest. Please accept the assurances of my heartfelt condolences as I wish Afon land sustainable peace and development long after his departure. Rt. Hon. Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid (ATTACKER) The Otunba Tadese of Afonland

Labour Party has distanced self from the flouted party by the embattled Chairman of League of registered political parties in Ogun State, Comrade Olaposi Oginni in Abeokuta. According to the press statement signed by Comrade Abayomi Arabambi, Chairman Labour party in Ogun state reads below; A STATE - WIDE ALERT ON OLAPOSI OGINNI PURPORTED NOCTURNAL MOVEMENT TO PRESIDE OVER TWO POLITICAL PARTIES NIP/NNPP IN OGUN STATE HAS NO LINK OR ASSOCIATION WITH OGUN STATE LABOUR PARTY. My attention was drawn to a purported criminally inclined , grossly incompetent and maliciously fabricated falsehood from a serial and perpetual treacherous political dead brain in person of Mr Olaposi Oginni claims of dumping LP for his new almajari political party platform's . I elect to state as follows in response to his arrant balderdash postulated in the said publication That ,Olaposi Oginni has since been expelled from the Ogun State Labour Party. He lacks regulator and suffering from a moral deadness that is dimly imaginable. A brief statement on the political porting of Oginni in the space of less than 3 years is enough to show the level of his lack of integrity as a person in politics. Olaposi Oginni who now double as the state Chairman of National Interest Party / New Nigeria Peoples Party was expelled about 2years back from Ogun State Labour Party as a disloyal and dishonest State Secretary . He joined APC through the Chief AYO OLUBORI , a confirmed political mercenaries in Ogun APC who engaged him in an attempt to undermine the then ongoing litigation instituted by Ogun LP against Ogun APC / INEC / Dapo Abiodun knowing fully well of course he was scamming the APC because he couldn't as an expelled and deregistered member of LP deliver what he falsely promised APC to deliver . His attempt to muscle into the case came up unsuccessful and a monumental failure. Because , he had collected a huge amount of cheap money from APC , he lost face and ported to ADC thinking he can scam GNI. The romance again got to a boiling point when ADC discovered his perpetually treacherous act, such that it was not lucrative for Oginni , that he opted to go into the Lado camp of PDP where he was made the PRO . From inside Lado camp of PDP Ogun State , his man and Boss went ahead to purchase the seat of Ogun State Chairman of National Interest Party (NIP) for Oginni with a view to use same as a standby platform to further his 2023 ambition Again , at this very moment , Lado has once again bought another seat of State Chairman for Oginni in New Nigeria Peoples Party without formally resigning from the National Interest Party(NIP) on the platform of which he claimed to convey the illegal League of Association of Registered Political Parties in Ogun State also sponsored by the same LADO Unfortunately for Olaposi Oginni he couldn't tell the press the truth about the graph of his political migration in so very short a period whilst still holding the chairmanship of National Interest Party (NIP) lied that he was annexing the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) from the Labour Party. Without mincing words , today , the man Olaposi Oginni is the most visible unscrupulous foreign politician base in Ogun State. Yes , every quality of Olaposi Oginni are all lethal. He has developed a vivid gift of profane for treachery. But the accretion of betrayal has its very poisonous quality. It is certain that the curfew of his numerous atrocious political activities is gradually catching up on him. In Oginni's choice of mind created world , rules are unwritten . With Oginni , being ethical is strange . Oginni thrives wherever truth, trust and morality are rationed . He at all times senses his political injuries but can't see them and these injuries are festering and will never heal. Oginni has a cash and carry , purchasable political fellow answering to the name of Bode Simeon who is perpetually drunk all day long , both of them are professionals at mining from the well of sentiments which exists as a result of the slavish and manipulative generosity of the likes of their pay master , this one means is their livelihood . Bode Simeon and Olaposi Oginni are a pair whose moral deadness are only imaginable. They have both since lost touch with with the ability to differentiate between being honest and being dishonest , both tendencies to them have no boundary. The essence of this statement is to very strongly distance Ogun State LP from Olaposi Oginni and his fellow Almajiri partner in their blind politics without regards to principles. Today , Olaposi did lie by saying that he is coming to NNPP from LP , rather he is coming from his dual membership of National Interest Party which the INEC records detailed him as the Ogun State Chairman and presently , he is still a functional PRO in the Lado arm of Ogun PDP. Finally , the Ogun State Labour Party wishes to make it abundantly clear that the notorious Olaposi Oginni has no link or any kind of relationship with Ogun State LP ,he has been expelled a long while back. Signed Comrade Gentleman Abayomi Arabambi State Chairman 24/06/2020

The residents of Imesi-Ekiti, Gboyin local government community in Ekiti state has dragged the leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC), in the mud over alleged imposition of Kingmakers after declaring the stool vacant by the executives. The residents during a protest withdrew their support for the Olatunji family after being imposed on the Imesi-Ekiti residents. According to the inscription on their placards the residents are throwing their weight behind the Agunsoye family as they described the family tenure as a peaceful one. The Community and the Agunsoye family condemned this action. The residents during a protest had declared that Olatunji Olatunde is not a candidate for the vacant stool nor a member of the ruling house . Crisis rocked Imesi Ekiti in Gboyin Local Government Area on Thursday May 14th 2020 when the members of the police and Army Squard stormed the village to nominate warrant chiefs for the selection of the new Onimesi. This action was to scare the Community and the Agunsoye Ruling house members from reactions. This vicious action was championed by the APC Chairman Paul Omotosho. The Agunsoye family of Imesi Ekiti in Ekiti Local Government had also condemned and express displeasure at the actions of the Ekiti State Excecutive Council and APC Chairman Paul Omotosho over the suspension of the 4 Kingmakers and installation of warrant chiefs .This act is illegal and unconstitutional. The Agunsoye Ruling House plea to the Excecutive Governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi to review the suspension of the Kingmakers of Imesi-Ekiti because the move is political inflicted by the enemies of the governor. The Head of Agunsoye Ruling House and Secretary, Prince Adu Fasunlade and Sesan Aladesanmi, had in a publication accused the APC chairman of complicity, imposition and undue influence in the obaship tussle. The report, published on November 4, 2019 was considered defamatory, injurious, false, malicious, unjustified and harmful to the APC chairman, who demanded its immediate retraction and N500, 000,000 in damages from the Agunsoye family. According to the publication, the duo accused Omotosho of working in cahoots with some top hierarchy of the APC-led government to sabotage the selection processes, noting that the efforts of the kingmakers to install a new monarch were being frustrated by his ‘antics’. It clearly stated the position of APC Chairman Omotosho to force his own candidate on the Agunsoye Ruling House In his response, Paul Omotosho denied the allegations and alleged threat to his life over the protracted obaship Tussle. In a petition dated November 5, 2019 and addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Asuquo Amba, Omotosho alleged that there was a plot to ‘assassinate’ him as a result of a publication by Agunsoye Ruling House indicting him of plotting to impose his anointed candidate, against the choice of the town. The petition was written on Omotosho’s behalf by his counsel, Olatunbosun Otitoju and titled: “Threat to Life, Conduct Likely to Breach Public Peace and Criminal Defamation of Honourable Barrister Paul Omotosho”. This is the same APC Chairman Omotosho that is leading the selection of the warrant Chiefs after using his position to cohot the Governor of Ekiti state and the Excecutive Council to suspend all the legitimate kingmakers who are alive and healthy to achieve their selfish aims The Imesi Community and the Agunsoye Ruling house urge the Governnor and the Excecutive Council to stop this action. Currently there are 2 law cases against the warrant chiefs in court by the Agunsoye Ruling House to which they await the court ruling. Therefore, it is unconstitutional to grant any permission for selection of warrant chiefs The Governor and His excecutuve Council should follow the rules of law as demanded by our constitution. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW !!!

"I Remain A Bonafide Member Of PDP" - Kashamu The Editor - 17:56 The former senator representing Ogun East senatorial district in the 8th assembly, Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu has reacted various insinuations claiming he is not a member of People's Democratic Party PDP in the state. According to Kashamu : " My attention has been drawn to a report in the ThisDay newspaper of 16th May, 2020, and several online publications, in which the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus said I am not a member of the PDP because, according to him, I had been expelled from the party." First, I need to let him know that the party at the national, state or local level is not about any individual. It is neither his private property nor is it mine. While it is true that he is the National Chairman of the PDP, it does not make him the owner or sole proprietor of the party who can determine or decide who is a member or not. As the National Chairman, he should be a father figure to all, not taking sides with some persons or stoking the fire of discord. At least, I am not one of those who left the PDP to sign a three-year agreement with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the build up to the 2019 elections. On the ill-informed and unjust expulsion that Prince Secondus spoke of, he may wish to go back and check his records again. He would find that prior to the 2019 general elections, an FCT High Court on the 10th of October, 2018, nullified my expulsion, describing it as “an act done in gross and wilful violation of an express order of court made on the 9th of January, 2018, directing parties to keep and maintain status quo and in particular not to carry out any disciplinary action…without first having recourse to this Court.” The court went further to rule that, “The said letter of expulsion of 4 persons made by the Respondents hereof on the 1st of August, 2018 is hereby set aside and declared null, void and of no effect, in that it was made in gross violation of the aforesaid subsisting Order of Court.” One of the four persons referred to in the above court order is the former State Chairman, Engr. Adebayo Dayo, who is now in league with those Prince Secondus is siding with. The orders and judgment of the court have neither been appealed nor upturned. Thus, the judgment remains valid, subsisting and binding on the PDP; any contrary view again will be contemptuous of the court. This was the premise on which I emerged and contested as the Ogun State governorship candidate of the PDP during the 2019 general elections. So, for these reasons, as former member of the National Executive Committee of the PDP and an automatic member of the State Executive Committee, I remain a bonafide and financial member of the PDP in Ogun State. I take it that our National Chairman is either too busy with national affairs of the party to appreciate the local politics and realities in Ogun State or he has forgotten that the unjust expulsion had since been nullified and does not exist in fact and in the face of the law. I have also read Prince Secondus talking about the legality or otherwise of the congresses held in Ogun State. My response would be that the matter is already subjudice and any other attempt to discuss it or do anything about it would be contemptuous of the court. If he does not want to play a fatherly role in mediating and reconciling the contending forces, I would advise that he should leave the judiciary to decide the issues. Please see the court order and web links of some reputable newspapers that reported it: Signed Senator Buruji Kashamu 16th May, 2020

The Ogun State Government has disclosed that it will continue to support Agro investors especially in the Rice Value Chain as well as other Agricultural commodities in order to boost food sufficiency Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina who made this known during a tour to Hyst Global Business Limited, makers of Okun Rice, in Itoikin, a boundary community between Lagos and Ogun State revealed that this became imperative as the Ministry of Agric will be linking Rice Farmers in the state with off takers and processors. The Commissioner stated that the State's Government have been assisting responders to its earlier call to link young people to industrial process, adding that, the Government has also been proactive to to meet the envisaged high demand for food after covid 19. "During this pandemic, we don't want the people to be aimless, so as a strategy of supporting investment in Agriculture, we have given special permit to farmers to continue to work but we ensure that they adhere strictly to social distancing and other measures to guide against the spread of covid 19", Odedina said. He assured other prospective agro investors of good and profitable partnership, submitting that the era of the challenge of lack of inputs and other necessary materials needed for farming was over. Speaking after inspecting a 30 hectares of Rice farm,Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agric, Dr. Dotun Sorunke said the Ministry has been mandated by the governor, to ensure that there is enough food for the people of the state, maintaining that this formed the basis for the tour to various prospective off takers for youth farmers in the Rice Value Chain of the State's Anchor Borrowers'Programme. Sorunke said " We have secured 30 hectares of land in this area which will serve 30 youths that would come for rice farming. We would also ensure a profitable marketing for them to thrive". Responding, owner of the facility, Biodun Onalaja who relocated from the northern part of Nigeria just to key in to the lofty Agriculture policies of the state government, said as an indigene of the state, he would not relent in partnering the present administration's effort at enhancing Agric, submitting that the Government has indeed afforded investors the right environment.

Further to my statement of 14th April, 2020 in respect of recent developments within the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), I have seen and read the various interviews and reports of Engr. Adebayo Dayo and Semiu Sodipo, the duo who were recently suspended as State Chairman and State Secretary of our Party in Ogun State. According to the Constitution of our great Party, by virtue of being a former member of the National Assembly and National Executive Committee (NEC) of our great Party, I am automatically a member of the Ogun State Executive Committee. It is on this premise that I wish to make the following submissions on behalf of all the well-meaning leaders, elders and stakeholders of our Party in Ogun State: 1. It is most ludicrous that Engr. Adebayo Dayo and Semiu Sodipo who are parading themselves as genuine members of the Ogun State PDP Executive Committee recently suspended each other at different times. While the Dayo-led State Exco suspended Sodipo on the 28th of February, 2020; Sodipo and former members of the State Exco suspended Dayo on the 29th of February, 2020. Dayo’s suspension was even ratified by the South West Zonal Committee of our great Party on the 3rd of March, 2020. Afterwards, Dayo’s fate was literally sealed on the 26th of March, 2020 when he was suspended by the authentic State Executive Committee of our Party – the same State Exco members that sat with him to suspend Sodipo in the first instance. How then can he now turn round to deny the same Exco? 2. Indeed, Dayo in a letter dated 3rd of March, 2020 to TRLP Law firm, listed the names of the authentic Ogun State PDP Executive Committee. He also attached several letters which showed former state officers who either resigned to contest elections or left for another party and were subsequently replaced. Some of the letter were jointly signed by Dayo and Sodipo while others were signed by either of them. All these facts have been deposed to in affidavits filed in Suit No. FHC/AB/CS/24/2020 in a case instituted by Dayo (in his capacity as the then Chairman) alongside other members of the State Executive Committee. 3. For Dayo, Sodipo and their co-travellers to be claiming that they are the authentic State Exco shows the level of their desperation, deceit and fraudulent tendencies which are geared towards causing chaos in Ogun State. This has now become a matter for investigation by the relevant security agencies. 4. There is no gainsaying the fact that Dayo and Sodipo are gone for good. Contrary to their claims and posture, they do not have any authority or legitimacy. They are simply mercenaries who are working hard to please their pay master. 5. Dayo and Sodipo have failed in their evil enterprise and do not have any authority or legitimacy to drive the Party in Ogun State. They are inconsequential and cannot speak for the Party as they no longer have the power to do so. They are the biggest betrayers of all time that we have ever seen in the politics of Ogun State. 6. Permit me to mention that after Dayo’s suspension, the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Samson Bambgose assumed office as the Acting Chairman. Subsequently, the State Congress was held on the 3rd of April, 2020 and new executives emerged. 7. In a bid to enforce their rights, the Exco that emerged from the State Congress approached the Federal High Court, Abeokuta. And based on their prayers, the court granted them an order directing parties to maintain status quo antebellum which is to the effect that no one should do anything to the new State Executive until the Motion on Notice before the court is heard and determined. Specifically, the court, in Suit FHC/AB/CS/44/2020 ordered that, “…the parties shall respect the principle of lis pendens and maintain status quo antebellum pending the hearing and determination of the Applicants’ Motion on Notice which is already filed before this court.” And the case was adjourned to the 21st of May, 2020. In effect, that means no other congress can be conducted in Ogun State PDP; no caretaker can be put in place and no purported reconciliation by some impostors can stand. The only genuine reconciliation that can stand the test of time and the law is the one driven by State Executive Committee in collaboration with all the leaders and elders at the ward, local government and state levels. 8. I have the mandate of all the altruistic leaders and elders of the Party in Ogun State to declare once again that we are willing, ready and available for genuine reconciliation that will reposition our Party and move it forward. 9. Let me also publicly declare that I have no interest in any elective position, including the governorship and therefore have no reason to oppose the ambition of any member of the Party aspiring to be Governor of the state because I know that all powers belong to the Almighty Allah. My fight has always been against illegalities, injustice and imposition. 10. It should also be borne in mind that the PDP as well as our respectable national and zonal leaders belong to all of us. While trying to protect our various interests, we may have roughened feathers in the past. But, that does not mean we cannot bury the hatchet and move ahead. As it is said, “to err is human and to forgive is divine”. Henceforth, we will all be attending meetings called by the national and zonal leadership of our Party in order to forge a more united front. 11. All the allegations levelled against me by Dayo and Sodipo on various traditional and social media are mere rantings and the outbursts of confused minds. I will not condescend to their level. Thank you. Long live PDP! Long live Ogun State!! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! Signed Senator Buruji Kashamu 30th April, 2020

On Wednesday, 29th April, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture in continuation of support services to Food Production and Processing locations in the State, visited the facility of an Ogun State Investor in Agriculture, who incidentally is also an Indigene of Ogun State. These farms and facilities, apart from being large enough to contribute to Food Production and Storage, have received tremendous support from the Government of Ogun state in sustaining their food Production activities during this critical period. The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture supports all actors in the AgriFood sector in the State, in responding to the need to ensure Food Security; Job Creation; Agriculturural Industrialization and Prosperity, amid the current pandemic situation.

Abeokuta - The chairman of Labour Party in Ogun state, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi has alleged Honorable Oladipupo Adebutu for deliberately sabotaging the efforts of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun efforts to fight coronavirus through distribution of palliative package to the vulnerable people cutting across the 236 wards in the state. Below is the excerpt of his allegations: It is crystal clear that Hon Ladi Adebutu and his political aides are deliberately sabotaging the Covid-19 intervention efforts of Governor Dapo Abiodun led Administration in Ogun State through their silence and flagrant refusal to submit themselves for test and non disclosure of the status of those that has gone for the test It is now public knowledge that Hon Adebutu and his political aides in the three senatorial district of Ogun State knowingly ,intentionally and wistfully choose to aid the spread of covid-19 surge by promoting the inconveniences, pains and losses associated with the Corona virus in Ogun State At this point today , it is the 3rd day and 72 hours since the Governor got alerted about Ladi Adebutu covid -19 status. It is no more a rumour that the Medical Doctor who has been attending to him secretly and privately has been isolated. It is medically and officially acknowledged that corona virus takes 14days to incubate. This very alarming development ought to galvanize the State Governor into action on Adebutu Ladi's Covid- 19 status immediately else we might have over 20,000 index cases in the next 30days This has become a very dangerous and an extremely avoidable risk which compromises the good people of Ogun State. Mr Governor Sir , let us consider the following points : (1) Is Ladi Adebutu's individual bigness so much high that it can be equated with the lives of possibly thousands of Ogun State citizens ? . (2) As at today , it is a known truth that Ladi Adebutu has severally taking part in various meeting and contacts with hundreds of innocent citizens who in turn have gone ahead to be in another set of more hundreds of Ogun Citizens. Take Alhaji Semiu Sodipo and Engr Bayo Dayo as a couple of those who have been moving and interacting with several other people who in turn have also been freely mingling with family and friends all over Abeokuta and Ijebu Igbo respectively and the possible consequences of this. (3) Why is the State Government being reluctant to take the Internationally established procedural steps on this matter ?. Does it mean that Adebutu Ladi and his fellow suspected virus infected partners could this much intimidating to the Government ?. (4) From this very moment , the NCDC will be made to see the dangerous but avoidable disaster Ogun Citizens are being subjected to and the seeming reluctance of the State Government to take steps that could keep the possibility of an unprecedented explosion of the in the spreading of the virus in Ogun State. Being rich doesn't make one's life more important or more special as to be seen as equal to thousands of other lives . We have seen many victims of the virus who made no secret of their status and thus got tested. Just yesterday , the Asiwaju and National Leader of APC was publicly announced to have submitted himself to test on covid- 19. (5) we trust your excellency that you will not, indulge these few men led by Hon Ladi Adebutu and his men to be allowed to rubbish all the Government's yeoman's job on this matter and the very agonising sacrifices of the entire State to go to waste because one person and his partners who certain people considered too big and too rich for the Government to act appropriately. Let me quote BOLA AHMED TINUBU Media Adviser, Tunde Rahman Statement on the Outcome of COVID-19 Tests. He said “Covid-19 is a real and present threat. Those of us who discount it or claim it is a fabrication do a grave and dangerous disservice to the public well-being. Following the death of our well-respected and beloved Chief Security Officer, Alhaji Lateef Raheem, NCDC medics took the wise precaution of taking samples from his body for testing to actually determine the cause of death. Today, the test results are back. The samples tested positive for Covid-19." As a precautionary measure taken soon after the death of Alhaji Raheem, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and all their aides took COVID-19 tests Saturday, April 25. The results of the tests were returned this morning. Test results for both Asiwaju and Senator TInubu were negative." “The results of one aide were positive. The rest of the staff was negative. The one staff member has been isolated in accordance with NCDC guidelines. Further contact tracing and COVID-19 tests are being conducted by the NCDC with regard to the relatives and possible contacts of that staff member. We once again call on the State Governor to act with quickness without any further delay , to immediately compel Hon Ladi Adebutu to report to Ogun state isolated center while his aides who has contact with him be arrested . More over all their identifiable contacts should be located , made them to do test and get them safely quarantined. Our reason was because Hon Ladi Adebutu political aides has continue to hold noctunal meetings with over 600 people and this might have affected over 10,000 unsuspecting members of the public despite their status and criminal refusal to submit themselves for test as required by all known Laws and as at today with just 14days incubation period we don't know how many of such vulnerable people from Iperu has been affected , we don't know how many from Remo land, we don't know how many vulnerable people has this symptoms in Ogun east and Ogun Central. It is our considered and well thought out suggestion that: (1) The Government should urgently cause all the houses the affected persons isolated. (2) All their possible traceable contacts should be tested and put in isolation including members of their immediate families and friends alike. (3) All the political aides who have remained consistently in contact with Ladi Adebutu at PARK IN HOTEL and his residence in IPERU include the suspended Engr Bayo Dayo, Alh Semiu Shodipo, Chief Kola Ogunbiyi (KOLINGAY) Mr Soledolu , Hon. Akinlabi , Mr Austin , Mr Bola Dayo , Mr Adeoye,Hon Adesanya, Mrs Remi Odubote, Seun Adesanya, Mr Alatise, Amu Dickson, Bose Olunla, Mr Jackson , and Alh Moshood Adesina. Also four local Herbalist Doctor of the suspended Engr Bayo Dayo by name Taiwo Elegbeji , Ifa Sunday , Land Lord and Enimola Araba covid -19 status should also be verified to avert possible escalation of the pandemic The Government should strongly go out to hunt for the concerned people , get them arrested for immediate testing and isolation. We responsibly and sincerely recommend with lots of concern that utmost attention and a powerful searchlight should be beamed immediately on PARK IN HOTEL with the vulnerable employees from the topmost to the least who might have been exposed to the dreaded covid- 19 infection through possible contact with the numerous associates, security, personal aides and other sources related to the persons identified here. Finally THE OGUN STATE GOVERNOR MUST ACT NOW ON HON LADI ADEBUTU'S COVID- 19 POSITIVE STATUS TO STEM THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES TOO DANGEROUS TO CONTEMPLATE. Signed Comrade Arabambi Abayomi Ogun Lp State Chairman 29th April 2020 CC: NCDC ABUJA PRESIDENTIAL PANEL on covid 19 Abuja
