The National Council on Establishments (NCE) at its 42nd meeting held from 30th November 4th December, 2020 in lkeja, Lagos State reviewed the current status of internship programmes/housemanship/NYSC Doctors in the Service, and approved their removal from the
Schemes of Service as posts attracting grade levels in the salary structure.

The Council based its decision on the grounds that the period of these programmes/services form part of the trainings in their respective professions.

Interns shall, however, be considered for the payment of allowance to be determined by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission.

This approval will be reflected in subsequent edition of the Schemes of Service.

Chad’s president of three decades died of wounds sustained during a visit to front-line troops battling a shadowy rebel group, the military announced Tuesday, as the insurgents vowed to seize the capital in what could turn into a bloody battle for control of the oil-rich Central African nation.

The United Nations has approximately 1,800 personnel in Chad, and spokesperson Stephane Dujarric stated in New York that the organization is “watching the situation hour by hour.”

Some residents of the capital expressed concern that there was more to Mr. Déby’s death.
“The rumors about the transitional council give me the impression that some information is fake ,” one resident, Thierry Djikoloum, said. “They are already discussing dissolving parliament… So, in my opinion, it had been a coup . He was murdered.”

Determine the location of the nearest SSN office to you. When I went to get my SSN, they also asked to see my birth certificate, which was not on the list of required items. They demanded to see my friend's driver's license. It's a good idea to bring these just in case. You don't want to be turned away or have to return with additional information.
There are no forms to fill out before you arrive for the SSN. A member of the office staff will assist you in completing all of the necessary forms.
