Yes. Tinubu cannot win a free and fair election against Jonathan, Obi or any major candidate. He will prefer to forcefully run unopposed. There's a reason why all other opposition parties are being undemocratically destroyed and why APC ministers, senators and spokespersons have become special advisers to Jonathan on political affairs. I don't see them advising Sowore or other lightweight politician not to contest.

The new talking point is "built from scratch". Is it twelve times more expensive to build a new road from scratch? So, who does Atiku think he’s deceiving when we all know where he stands? Truer words have never been spoken. Tinubu made out time to attend the burial of the mother of APC Chairman but couldn't stop by to commiserate with the victims in Plateau. He quickly hopped back into his plane and headed for Lagos without sparing a thought for the victims in Kwara.

Your actions don't match with what you say. Your appointments are skewed in favour of your own region, same as projects with even other regions in the South glaringly marginalised and shortchanged. Your homestate is embarking on unprecedented victimisation and threats against other ethnicities as a way to rally support for you with graveyard silence by the government. The videos of Ibo people molesting APC voters are still available online. We never used Police or DSS to harass those that perpetrated the rigging and intimidation in the south east.

You see what Sego said earlier, that’s the general position of all of us in the south west. We won’t allow the nonsense that happened in Lagos in 2023 to repeat itself ever again. Can other regions also say the same about their tribal candidate? Tinubu lost Lagos and Osun, it was not just people from other regions that made that possible. Some of you SWesterners are investing too much effort in trying to make Tinubu win the SW in a landslide using ethnicity but it's bound to fail. Better look at the big picture. Yoruba votes alone cannot make Tinubu president and even the votes from full-blooded Yorubas cannot be won by one single individual. Tinubu himself didn't support Obasanjo, a fellow Yorubaman both in 1999 and in 2003 for his own selfish interest.

The Agbadorians are here again. Waste collection, management and disposal is a core function of government. That's part of what taxes are for. Abuja is not Lagos that has surrendered to filth.

The whole Tinubu presidency has been centred around the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway, yet they could only manage to complete 30km in the first two years out of the proposed 900km (now 1000km). All other projects are being poorly funded and only get allocations on paper with little to no actual disbursement. If the president can just approve extension on a whim, it shows that the road did not undergo proper procurement. The total cost is also shrouded in secrecy.

ADC know better to write-off all these off-cycle elections. They should participate to gauge their strength but the outcome will not be a determinant of how 2027 elections will pan out. It is easier for the incumbent to rig off-cycle elections through vote buying, intimidation, voter suppression and general apathy/low turnout.

Elrufai built roads, parks and other public infrastructure and still delivered pipeborne water to residences in the city through the Usuma dam. Abuja had functional public transportation and was clean, green and safe. He didn't invite media houses just to flag-off the installation of streetlights but 20 years later, his records are still unmatched. Wike is overrated.
