creolehunt:Bayo Onanuga had to privately send him a WhatsApp message begging him to delete the tweet. Cowards.
|
Maxymilliano:Pay no mind to the snakes. They have only succeeded in exposing themselves to the rest of Nigerians.
|
Meanwhile, Tinubu has borrowed multiple folds of that sum for intangible and untraceable projects like "building the resilience of rural women". |
Streetinvestor2:Take it to the bank, Elrufai will set the motions that will lead to the defeat of Tinubu at the polls come 2027. They know it, he knows it. @topic, Elrufai never paid bandits. His stance on how to deal with banditry has always been clear. "Carpet-bomb the bush and damn the consequences." The context of the interview which Bayo and crew lifted only a snippet was him confirming that Fulani herders who suffered losses when they were trapped in the aftermath of the 2011 post-election violence were compensated as recommended by a Federal government panel as well as a state panel he instituted headed by Martin-Luther Agwai, a respected son of Southern Kaduna. Whoever is interested can watch the full video of the interview here. Bayo only succeeded in confirming to Nigerians that the FG is currently paying bandits as a security strategy.

Northern Nigeria is suffering from the proliferation of data boys and PR merchants. That is dangerous for it's future. Politicians of questionable characters and no records are now being celebrated just because they can pay for it. This is another dead-on-arrival paid article. |
Sam Amadi is now a consultant under the government of Alex Otti. He has been bought over. Expect him to make a complete pivot from his previous stance in the coming days. |
He need not bother. We already know what he's going to say in his croaky voice. No one is interested but if he must, he should make sure he isn't inebriated. |
Look at all the Yoruboid posts above me straight from their WhatsApp group. That's their modus operandi. By this time two years ago, Elrufai was being crowned as the Gbobaniyi of Ijebuland by the late Awujale for his role in bringing Tinubu to power and he was the hero of the Yorubas then. So dark the con of man! We will see how rejected he is come 2027.
|
Instead of doing the hard but uncomfortable job in getting rid of this menace, the governor is only interested in maintaining a false image using PR while suppressing the news. The deaths no longer get even a mention again because he wants to be seen to have solved the insecurity issues in the state. https://zagazola.org/index.php/breaking-news/residents-of-kachia-call-for-media-attention-as-bandit-attacks-escalate

Elrufai was invited as a special guest to the Odenigbo event and was warmly received. Any other spin-tail is the figment of the imagination of those who conjure it.

Damage control. Let Speaker Abass himself make the disclaimer. They also came out to make a disclaimer when Kashim Shettima spoke but we all heard what he said. That single statement by Shettima also put a pause on all talks about his replacement, at least for the main time. Speaker Abass will have to step down or be impeached if Tinubu decides to pick a VP candidate from the Northwest. He merely signalled that he won't go out without a fight. |
How many votes can Adeyanju mobilise for a candidate? We expect most Yoruba who are popular online to commit to voting Tinubu otherwise they will be termed betrayers and be forever blamed for the impending defeat that awaits Tinubu in 2027. |
The cracks are beginning to show. As predicted, Tinubu will have Speaker Abass impeached before 2027. Just wait and see. Buhari borrowed to build roads railways, ports and bridges while Tinubu is borrowing for obscure and intangible projects like "building the resilience of rural women". |
Efuaye:Uba Sani was Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking. If you think Emefiele and Anchor Borrowers Scheme as well as other shady deals, you will be able to see how they got him to flip. |
helinues:Why? Are my words making you uncomfortable? You will have to log off nairaland or deactivate your account for that to happen. |
Emu4u2c2:Oga, are you sure you're not an APC Paid BOT? Okay o. If you say so.
|
Softmirror:Okay I will. What's your opinion on Osinbajo and Aregbesola? They are both treacherous betrayers right? Of course. |
Softmirror:The Yoruboids are a wonderful specie. It was the grace of God that made Uba Sani governor but the grace of Wike that made Fubara governor. Fubara is an ungrateful ingrate that deserves a state of emergency for betraying Wike, but Uba Sani is a hero. On another note, who has both Gani Fawehinmi and Tinubu as mentors if not the words of a sycophant? Gani and Tinubu were parallel lines.
|
Someone said Uba Sani is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Betrayers Association of Nigeria. He'll be back in 2031 to tell us Tinubu was never his mentor. The problem with being a betrayer is that even your new-found friends won't trust you. They will only use you. Below link is a video of Uba Sani referring to himself as the headboy of Mallam Nasir Elrufai's mentees.
|
Why should he? Are you all starting to feel the pressure? The same person who they told us in 2023 has the talent of identifying the most competent individuals to work with ended up with the largest and the worst cabinet in the history of the entire country. What would Tinubu campaign with in 2027? NELFUND loans or 15 trillion naira Lagos-Calabar coastal highway? |
sreamsense:The question was, what are the multiple sins of Chief Nasir Ahmed Elrufai, the Gbobaniyi of Ijebuland? We want to know. If the Awujale considers him worthy enough to coronate him as Chief, then the Igbos have also forgiven him for whatever "sins" you think he has committed. Move on and stop crying on my mention! Betrayal bandits! |
BATified2023:Lol. Did the Southsouth not have the opportunity to be VP under PDP with Okowa? Why didn't they vote PDP in 2023? Why defer to 2031 what they could have gotten in 2023 if the phantom promise of a VP slot is that important to them? |
sreamsense:Yoruboids are a wonderful specie. The same Elrufai that is a titled Chief in Ijebuland? Coronated by the late Awujale himself as the Gbobaniyi of Ijebuland?
|
Lol. Lies. Post pictures or videos of the protests let us see. Elrufai was warmly received by the good people of Imo State. Agbadorians are jittery of the reawakening of the age-long North-East alliance. It is inevitable.
|
helinues:Why do you Batists think support for an APC candidate automatically translates to support for Tinubu? Little wonder you lot over-celebrate the results of the buy-election. Tinubu lost Lagos but Sanwo-olu won his reelection. This was also the case in Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, etc all with APC governors who couldn't deliver Tinubu in the presidential election. Tinubu is so obsessed with coercing governors to decamp thinking he can benefit from their goodwill in 2027 but he will be disappointed. |
This post is a subtle attempt at opinion sampling. Batists want to know the standing of their principal in Delta come 2027. Only Deltans are in a better position to respond. |
sparko1:False. Jonathan contesting in 2027 will be to the detriment of Tinubu and not vice versa. Why do you think Ministers like Festus Keyamo have now become his unsolicited special advisers? |
FavouriteOfGod:Not just in the North. The killings of 8 NSCDC personnel over the weekend in Edo State did not happen in the North. But if you say the entire South is safe just to hide the ineptitude of Tinubu, who are we to argue?
|
BangaRice:He doesn't have immunity and is out of government, what is stopping Tinubu from persecuting him? Over 106 people died this weekend. Is Elrufai responsible for that? What about the killings in Zamfara, Yelwata, Kwara and other places? Singling out the Southern Kaduna killings and attributing it to Elrufai is part of why the government and their leaders will remain lackadaisical about addressing it. Elrufai is no longer in power so they cannot even amplify the deaths anymore due to political reasons but in reality, the killings never stopped. |
morikee:Huge gaffe by the governor. I expect him to release another interview to do damage control and outrightly refute this admission. It's a PR disaster. |
2special:Dey play. The killings in Southern Kaduna never stopped. It just got suppressed by the media. If you doubt me, show me any other conventional media that featured this news. Even Sahara lifted it from Zagazola, an independent Intel. Their Elders and so-called activists are also mum because they are now on payroll. https://x.com/ZagazOlaMakama/status/1964719984552063062 |
Heartlessness of the highest order. Once its close to election, Tinubu will galvanise them by creating a common enemy out of other tribes in Lagos and tell them they are coming to steal Lagos from them. He did it to Jimi Agbaje and is now doing it to Rhodes-Vivor. It's the strategy he has used to continue to control Lagos for over 20 years and counting. |
