Jaymats:Oga, leave story. I didn't read your comment. Send your evidence of open-day genocide and atrocities to Tinubu and ask him to prosecute Elrufai or don't the victims demand justice? Elrufai is not in government, does not enjoy immunity and is not in the APC and yet, he's still walking as a freeman while openly opposing Tinubu. What does that tell you? We have seen people being arrested or declared wanted for less under Tinubu. Elrufai is as clean as a whistle except for media trials. He's ready to meet anybody in court. |
A France-based publishing outfit. Of course, we can do the math. Bashir Haske, Atiku's in-law, has been declared wanted, but Ojulari, his alleged accomplice, is still in office. |
Zocalite:There are currently deaths in Kwara, Borno, Benue, Zamfara, Plateau, Katsina, etc. Isn't it ironic that all these deaths are blamed on the federal government except for kaduna where you blame Elrufai? By the way, when Buhari was President, the deaths in Benue and Plateau were specifically attributed to him while the one in Kaduna was attributed to Elrufai. We all know what we are doing. Were they also deaths in FCT when Elrufai was minister or DG, BPE? Was Elrufai responsible for the Zangon Kataf, Sharia and Miss World crisis in Kaduna State that occurred in 2001, 1991 and long before then? |
Yet, we are to believe that the government has met its revenue target for the year. |
The bottom line is that Tinubu lied. Nigeria has not met its revenue target for the year. We now understand why his media team is telling barefaced lies to Nigerians using fraudulent infographics on social media. Many government contractors have still not been paid, our embassies are unfunded, FG minimum wage has not been implemented and more stringent taxes are being proposed. Nigeria is running 3 budgets concurrently. That is not the posture of a government that has met its revenue target for the year.
|
CodeTemplarr:Yorubaman, do you live in Kaduna? Have you ever set foot in the state? If the APC has any evidence that Elrufai paid killers, he's no longer in the party. Why has he not been prosecuted? There's no governor touching Elrufai's performance as governor of Kaduna in the foreseeable future. The records are there. He took Kaduna from an average of 9 billion naira per year IGR to over 60 billion naira when he left office. Kaduna became the Northern State with the highest IGR during his tenure. Kaduna was consistently top 5 state that attracted the highest FDI while he was governor. He embarked on the iconic and ambitious KadunaUrbanRenewal drive that transformed the city of Kaduna into a very modern city. You can either visit Kaduna to see for yourself or do your research online. There's no Nigerian alive that can doubt the capacity of Elrufai to deliver in any task he's assigned. He delivered as DG BPE, delivered as FCT Minister (still the best till date) and delivered as governor of Kaduna state. |
muyico:You all cannot make any sentence without mentioning Elrufai. Do you see him in your dreams? Elrufai will not be on the ballot in 2027. |
These ones are expending too many arsenal on Elrufai in what are clearly sponsored posts. Elrufai is not contesting for any position in 2027. Same Farooq Kperogi who told us that Aisha Buhari is no longer married to Buhari and came back to recant? |
omenka:Leave the Igbos out for a second, would you have also thought that some Yorubas will turn around to vilify Elrufai from day one after winning the presidency? Remove the log of wood from your eye first. No permanent friend or foe in politics but treachery is still treachery no matter who perpetrates it. |
From the list of names arraigned here, it appears to be communal conflict between people of the same kin than the narrative of Fulani herdsman we were sold. |
Co.wardly pushing blames as usual. I thought he has no opposition. Which opposition is he then referring to? Someone who went to the floor of the national assembly during democracy day to say that he was happy that opposition parties in the country are in disarray. |
sheguy:Just read the news. They went with a list of demands of projects that they want him to execute in their region. It's no longer news that the Northeast has been marginalised under this government. They are obviously not buying the propaganda infographics that Bayo Onanuga and Co have been embarrassing themselves with in the past weeks. |
LegendHero:Elrufai was never your hero? This right here is the bane of the average Southwesterner. You are now seeking to rewrite history. If it happens as you have said above come 2027, you would come back to say that Tinubu made himself President without the support of all these regions and persons you're touting above. But we will never know because it won't happen. I only have one advise for you, being obsessed with forcefully co-opting governors into your party and relying on them to deliver Tinubu without any regard to the sentiments of their people will only end bitterly. Kust don't come back to say the governors betrayed you. |
LegendHero:Lol. Tinubu is now an immortal because the North came through for him and delivered his ass after he won only 4 states in the entire South and also, the North is no longer one but the Southwest is one. Time is a gentleman. The short meedgeet was also your hero during electioneering in 2023, it is the single most significant reason why the North won't trust you again come 2027. |
LegendHero:Mr. Man. Tinubu did not win the South in 2023, the North made him President because it was the right thing to do at the time. If you really believe that he would now win the South but nothing has changed in the North, then I have nothing to say to you. Come back by 2027 and compare notes. It is this craze for "powerblocs" that is making Tinubu run an elitist government to the detriment of the people. A lot of the APC governors who won their reelection couldn't deliver Tinubu in the presidential election but nonetheless, Northern sentiments were in favour of returning power to the South in 2023. |
FreeStuffsNG:Lol. Which of the promises that Tinubu used to gain support has he fulfilled. He has rather betrayed a lot of those "powerbrokers" and is set to betray even more. He has cornered everything for himself and Lagos. What will he be negotiating with in 2027. The promise of handing power to the North in 2031? I just told you it's not in his power to change that. New alliances will be formed. Goodbye. |
Like Elrufai said, no one with the EFCC sword of damocles hanging over his head can afford to leave the APC. It's the same reason why Yahaya Bello can't leave. Instead, politicians who have stolen and expect protection will decamp to the APC. You have to be sure of yourself to leave the APC but there will be internal sabotage come 2027 within the party from those who can't leave. |
FreeStuffsNG:Tinubu cannot prevent power from returning to the North whether now or by 2027. Infact, going by his treachery and inability to keep his word, Northerners know that the SW will turn against the North come 2031 if Tinubu manages to win his re-election. Same Tinubu who will be ready to drop Shettima without thinking twice? Once bitten, twice shy. The highest margin the SW as a region can deliver to any candidate is 4m votes and even that is a huge stretch. New alliances will be formed. |
LegendHero:The North are the Northern voting populace who are feeling the brunt of Tinubu's rudderless leadership. Tinubu is also not the Southwest. He does not even have his Southern base in his full grip. In 2023, he only won 4 out of 6 and lost his traditional base, Lagos. He's now hoping to win the SW by stoking tribal hatred and bigotry as a strategy. |
FreeStuffsNG:Okay. Time is a gentleman. I guess Northerners are now massively in love with Tinubu now than in 2027 then. |
FreeStuffsNG:Yes. Tinubu only won 3 states in the core North. It was the margins he got that made him President. By 2027, he would not only lose these states again, he would get less margins. Elrufai delivered 400k votes to Tinubu in Kaduna in an election that Northern votes were split between Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso only for SW to accuse him of working against Tinubu just to justify the betrayal. It is easier to deliver states like Kano and Katsina than it is to deliver Kaduna because Kaduna is highly cosmopolitan and heterogeneous like Lagos but Kaduna is still the headquarters of Northern politics. |
FreeStuffsNG:Lol. The Northern politicians "fighting" themselves were people who once all campaigned and voted Tinubu in 2023. What does that tell you? Tinubu will get less votes in the North by 2027. Northerners know that these fights were engineered by Tinubu and will react accordingly. Abdulmumini Jubrin has always been a Tinubu man, it was Ganduje who frustrated him out and now, even Ganduje has been betrayed by Tinubu, forget the false optics. Shettima is next in line to be betrayed. All these will cost Tinubu votes in the North. |
bixton:Sorry, I can't help you. If you're asking whether he ran a government of stomach infrastructure like Fayose did, the answer is no. Goodbye. |
bixton:He took Kaduna from an average of 9 billion naira per year IGR to over 60 billion naira when he left office. Kaduna became the Northern State with the highest IGR during his tenure. Just squeezing out more money from the pockets of struggling Nigerians and handing it over to corrupt governors with immunity and then saying "go hold your governors accountable". Man is so obsessed with revenue and self aggrandizing wealth like he wasn't loved as a child. Sad. |

SamGift0817:Did you not hear Nasir Elrufai saying he has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police and the Police Service Commission? He's ready to meet them anywhere including in court. "Only the Guilty are Afraid" - James Hardley Chase |
Softmirror:But yet, he's the official spokesman of the president. What does that say about the character and integrity of Tinubu? |
fergie001:Fergie001, please current your post. It is not ₦2.9trillion but ₦3.9trillion. Thanks.
|
Lol. Agbadorians are now stuck between a rock and a hard place. All these is happening in a bid to justify the obvious and brazzen display of favouritism, nepotism and loopsidedness to Lagos. Aside infrastructure skewness, are the Lagos appointees of Yoruba extraction also getting unequal appointments because Lagos is no-mans-land? I think even the Southwest is being marginalised in favour of Lagos. The SW will soon realise that they have shortchanged themselves for the selfish interest of one man. |
Hemanwel:The boycott of the Rivers LG election was an eye-opener. Even with the declaration of over 2 million votes by Wike and Ibas, he now knows the people of the Southsouth are not with him. |
These attempts at famzing Buhari in death will not work. Buhari’s supporters are clear-eyed, not delusional. Someone who accused Buhari of ruining the economy only to come onboard and perform worse. If he really loves Buhari as he pretends to, he wouldn't allow Umahi to revoke the Kaduna-Abuja road from Julius Berger only to award it an obscure and incompetent company called Infiouest for almost the same sum. That road was among the 3 legacy projects of Buhari in the 3 regions. Buhari completed two of these projects that were outside his region (Second Niger Bridge and Lagos-Ibadan Expressway) only for Tinubu to come onboard and fumble with the one that was in Buhari's own backyard. Let's not even talk about his agricultural policies that have all now been set aside in favour of importation. |
