OneCandleAway: The most astonishing case was him allowing wike to name the conference center in Abuja after him, just because they refurbished. Even babangida that built the place didn't name it after himself. Honestly the man has self esteem issues based on his lowly birth circumstances and wants to always put those fortunate to have come from affluence beneath him. On the anniversary of his first year in office, he unveiled the World's largest portrait at Eagle Square on June 12. It was a portrait of himself. It is also conspicuous that he has never mentioned Abiola or done anything for his legacy since assumption to power. Buhari did more for Abiola than the man who benefitted the most from his legacy.

Racoon: This is the same man INEC denied copying his message verbatim. You must be incredible stupid to be associated with this Tinubu's rudderless government. He claimed it was a coincidence. That he didn't prepare the rebuttal by INEC. Tinubu has some of the slowest, shady and most compromised characters working for him.

Politics › Re: ADC Crisis: Supreme Court Hears David Mark’s Appeal On Tuesday by AMINDA: 6:26pm On Apr 12 |
seunmsg: The Supreme Court will hear the case on Tuesday. Relax and wait for the outcome. Hopefully, folks like you won’t come back to here to abuse the justices of the Supreme Court after David Mark’s appeal is thrown out with hefty fines. You seem to be well-informed about how the judgement will go. Not surprised. Was it not the same supreme court that refused to pass judgement on the illegal declaration of state of emergency in Rivers state until several months after the expiration of the SOE? Same supreme court that claimed members of the Rivers state HOA had not resigned after the publicly broadcasted resignation on the floor of the state house of assembly. Abacha did more than this but time is a gentleman. So back to the question, what Section of the law empowers a court to interfer in the internal affairs of a political party, even when according to you, the party has not followed its constitution? |
Politics › Re: The Lights Of Democracy Are Going Out In Nigeria - Dele Sobowale by AMINDA: 6:23pm On Apr 12 |
It was always clear that he was battling a chronic case of low self-esteem and imposter syndrome. The sycophantic "on your mandate" anthem, the false sense of megalomania, the hold on Lagos decades after governing, the level of covetousness, greed and self-angrandisement, etc. The signs of a budding dictator were always there. |
Politics › Re: ADC Crisis: Supreme Court Hears David Mark’s Appeal On Tuesday by AMINDA: 6:06pm On Apr 12 |
seunmsg: The Supreme Court simply said the court should not interfere in the internal affairs of a political party except when they refused to follow their own constitution. So, the Court will entertain Bala Gombe’s case since it has to do with the failure of ADC to follow its constitution. You don't have to lie to drive home your point. Why not drop the specific section that gives the exception of failure to follow party's constitution. The Supreme Court of Nigeria has consistently ruled that courts lack jurisdiction over the internal affairs of political parties, including leadership disputes and candidate selection, deeming them non-justiciable. |
Politics › Re: INEC Statement Mirrors Presidential Aide’s Post Word For Word by AMINDA: 5:58pm On Apr 12 |
seunmsg: Can’t you read? Did the statement not emanate from INEC? If a press statement is issued, they first send it to media houses and media personalities through official channels. So there is no big deal if a media person or outlet publish it first. Sorry to bust your bubble but Tinubu's SSA just responded to the allegation of drafting INEC's message and posting online before they had the chance to do so. He calls it coincidence.

Politics › Re: Lamido Fires Back at Malami, Defends PDP Loyalty Amid Corruption Allegations by AMINDA: 7:49am On Apr 12 |
WizardOfNG: Same thing I am wondering then I remember people like him have one modus operandi which is blind and bigoted support of those they view enemies of their enemies.
Today this Aminda character is devoted to the removal of "Yoruba President" and he sees ADC as the vehicle.
So his simple mission is to support everyone in the ADC from the dishonorable Fulanis looking to jettison the important power rotation agreement they benefitted from yesterday to claiming, Malami "was doing his job".
Thi is same Malami who consipired to.ensure the South was powerless against heavily armed marauders and was responsible for the rendtioning of Kanu from.Kenya and subsequent seige in the SE Aminda is from.
Today contrast the reality of the SE under Tinubu and our current AGF who does not have the personal and bigoted hatred of anyone to be obsessively looking, as a personal mission, for how to entrap and jail anyone from SE that Government is unhappy with.
Yet Tinubu deserves his hate and demonisation more than Malami he currently jumps.to the defence of today over every issue.
That guy is a piece of work honestly. Unity begging? Tinubu loves the Southeast so much that he sent Nnamdi Kanu to prison. A feat that even the Fulani Buhari couldn't achieve. All Nigerians should pay for crimes they commit irrespective of where they come from, as long as they are guilty. It is the obvious witch-hunting and favouritism that we frown against. Tinubu should have done more to unite the South instead of cornering everything for the Lagos bloc. Even today, the gubernatorial election in Lagos cannot be won without stoking tribal hatred. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Any Xtian Supporting The Removal Of Prof. Amupitan Is Myopic by AMINDA: 12:34am On Apr 12 |
Gotocourt: Tinubu's hand work allover. I just can't understand why the Prof allowed himself in this mess🤷🏿 The pressure was too much on Amupitan. With the momentum generated by Kwankwaso's defection to ADC to join Atiku and Obi, the election would have been won and lost by now if they had not found a way to slow the coalition. |
Politics › Re: Lamido Fires Back at Malami, Defends PDP Loyalty Amid Corruption Allegations by AMINDA: 12:22am On Apr 12 |
3exe3: The question still remains are u a thief? Exactly. Malami was Atorney General and Minister of Justice and this simply means he did his job by taking you to court to clear your name. This also proves that Northerners and Southerners alike, were prosecuted under Buhari. Can Lateef Fagbemi under Tinubu say the same? Malami was already an accomplished lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria long before Buhari became president. He had a job and an address before politics. Lamido swallowed his vomit and crawled back to Wike and is now tacitly supporting Tinubu. We all know why. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Any Xtian Supporting The Removal Of Prof. Amupitan Is Myopic by AMINDA: 10:52pm On Apr 11 |
Try another line. Nigerians are not buying this one. Amupitan boxed himself into a corner by showing his hands early and derecognising the leadership of the ADC in what is a clear misrepresentation of a court judgement. He called more scrutiny upon himself, and he's been found wanting. Tinubu cannot win an election without resorting to religion, region, or rice.

Tinubu is not printing money like Buhari, he's not paying subsidies like Buhari, he claims to have floated the naira unlike Buhari but he has outborrowed all the debts incurred by Buhari and is now back to defending the naira at an even higher rate than Buhari. Sannisege: The question touched you because you are not informed. Sensible people know that subsidy removal caused increase in fuel price and the senseless Iran exacerbated the price hike. Abi shey you want a few to continue to loot subsidy money? Mind you, it was Buhari’s regime that removed fuel subsidy effective July 2023. Tinubu’s government only implemented that policy Abi shey you want Tinubu to continue printing money like Buhari? Tinubu is not printing money like Buhari, he's not paying subsidies like Buhari, he claims to have floated the naira unlike Buhari but he has outborrowed all the debts incurred by Buhari and is now back to defending the naira at an even higher rate than Buhari. We know it's only a matter of time before he becomes Igbo too. Are you all going to antagonise Igbos in Lagos while preaching "Southern unity" for Tinubu's re-election? |
Politics › Re: Obafemi Hamzat Father Is From Ogun State And Not From Epe Lg(pics) by AMINDA: 8:44pm On Apr 11 |
BATified2023: he's Yoruba so he's still in his land n can contest.
The last time I checked Lagos is Yoruba land n ogun state is Yoruba land too
So where is that your line coming from?
U people shouldn't compare what u do in your place to what happens here, where an ebonyi man can't rent house in Anambra let alone contest n where an Anambra man is seen as first class to an ebonyi man.
In Yoruba we are all the same and no Yoruba person is superior to the other, obafemi hamzat will become governor if the yorubas want it So Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor is Igbo because he has an Igbo mum? Is that also the case for Seyi's children? I hope you lot know that lots of Lagos politicians either have Igbo wives or Igbo mothers. Pronouncing them as tainted blood may be one of several reasons why Tinubu lost Lagos. Besides, Jimi Agbaje had both Yoruba parents but that didn't stop the "drown in the Lagoon" comment. Does this mean that Tinubu can't win an election without resorting to region, religion and rice? |
Politics › Re: INEC Statement Mirrors Presidential Aide’s Post Word For Word by AMINDA: 8:37pm On Apr 11 |

How can that be the case when the INEC rebuttal from their official handle is coming 22 hours after the president's SSA tweet? Why is the President's SSA amplifying a rebuttal from INEC in an election where his principal is being accused of collusion with the electoral umpire?

Tareq1105: In fact, kwakwaso would have been better off with APC.
Tinubu was okay with his demands including ministerial appointments and CEO of MDAs except for:
* The removal of VP Shettima for him,
* A commitment by Tinubu to allow him fly the ticket of APC in 2031, and
* 25% share of the APC structure from Ward, LG, States to Federal for his loyalists all over the federation.
These are the 3 issues that Tinubu said NO to and they parted ways.
In fact, kwakwaso would be happy with the 30% he got in Kano ADC. If he's not ready to accept it, where would he go again? Is Kano State still under him?
The state is polarized and divided. His ATM Gov Abba Yusuf gidagida has left him for APC. His support base has been divided.
He's lucky to have a party that clothed him after his greed made him naked. Lol. Okay, if Kwankwaso's support base has been divided because Abba Kabir decamped to APC, is it safe to say APC's support base has also been divided since Gawuna has decamped to the ADC? Na simple question o! |

100% organic! Unlike the president's visit to Bayelsa yesterday, there are no uniformed "supporters" dancing at the airport. SadiqBabaSani: A very corrupt man?
I thought Northerners have integrity What crime has Malami been convicted of? Arraignment and interim forfeitures are no prove of guilt. The guilty with so much to hide are decamping to APC where their sins can be forgiven. Ifeanyi Okowa is Tinubu's Renewed Hope Ambassador in Delta while White Lion is now on Pilgrimage to Mecca. Bala Mohammed, whom APC told us is facing terrorism charges is also being courted to decamp to the APC. |

He controls more than that with the incumbent, so why will he settle for less with the opposition, isn't this why he couldn't join the APC? No price is too small to see Tinubu's back. Kwankwaso would still be in the coalition even if he gets 0%. |
