philips70: But where is firefire?Omi ti gbe lo |
It seems Aregberascal, the Ogbeni himself, is the beloved son of the State of Osun. The People have decided to vote for him because, honestly the man worked. I hope that the state will continue to progress even as it faces challenges from all quaters. |

dd25251: I'm Guyanese born, groomed and breed. One of the most straight-forward write-up I ever read. Thanks for enlightening us, OP. A question I'd like to ask is whether you have distance learning universities or colleges in Guyana where Guyanese and foreigners can take classes or complete program online? |
maclatunji: Islam is a practical religion. Its injunctions exist for the welfare of human beings as a whole. There is a teaching regarding epidemics in Islam:Wao, this is common sense. I hope other teachers will help teach the people values like this rather than asking them to go face the epidemic by faith. |

When Nigeria was still working...when we were in our right minds? |
Thank you OP for this post. I am married to a white woman and we have a cute boy who is now almost two years old. When we met, most of my Naija friends were advising me to (as you put it above) "no fall their hand." Maybe I am not as smart as them, maybe I am just being too honest, I fell their hand and stuck to my woman not because of money, but because we love each other madly. You see, every now and then, I get messages from folks in Naija asking me to parcel euro to them as if I don't have a family that understands the function of euros. Even here in Bratislava, there are few whites who think blacks "hunt" for their girls just to get residence permits. Last week or so, while walking my dog, I met one of my friends- an old woman who smokes like hell. In our usual 3 to 5 minutes conversation in Slovak language, she asked me whether I have a wife in Nigeria. She was a bit reluctant to believe that I have just only the Slovak woman for a wife. She concluded by saying, "anyway, many men from your country have wives at home and they come here and other parts of Europe to marry our women just to get their stay legalised. Sometimes, the European wife never finds out until after divorce or when the man runs away after getting what he wants, other times." And yes, you are correct that most of our people think that whites are better than us. My experience so far has taught me that Nigerians are richer than most whites and even the rich whites (of course not the super rich) don't spend money the way we do. I have seen so many blacks (Nigerians especially) who don't have correct papers to reside here, work and spend all what they make at Nightclubs. You see them live larger than life even when they couldn't afford it. These send the wrong message about us to others. Pictures from such people, when they get home to Nigeria, make those at home abroad-sick and want to come experience the "heaven on earth" here. |
mindurbiznes: what if you are falling for something as illogical as this hoaxI wouldn't discard the Ebola virus as a hoax, however, I took the OP's "confession" with a pinch of salt. |
Na Kerosene or Petrol and Pepper solution naim sure pass. Wetin we no go hear ![]() |
Backward Thinking "I sold my only car to help pay for gas money, but now gas has come down in price. How do I get my car back?" I tried to contact this guy, but it turns out that he also sold his computer to help pay for his Internet connection.

Turtle Trouble "I was bitten by a turtle when i was a young lad, can i still drink orange juice?" This is why old lads should be barred from Yahoo Answers. Seriously--where do they come up with this stuff?

Spelling 101 "How do you spell government?" Most of the time.

Mathematical Matters "Is there any possible way of making 2+2=5?" The easiest way is to flip the positions of 4 and 5 on the number line. Another method is to use LSD (Least Sequential Denominators).

Mousin' Around "My mouse stop working every time i lift it up from the table why is this? this is not just OS .i have linux and vista both same thing so its not drivers" Yeah, no big deal there, either: Insert your credit card into the CD-ROM drive and tell your computer--slowly and distinctly--that you need the Air Mouse 3000 upgrade. You'll be good in no time.
|
Credit Crunch "I wanted to see if my computer would read my credit card so i put it in the cd rom and it got stuck, how do i get it out?? I tryed toothpics but lost them in the process?? also the drive is making noises" Oh, that's normal. Your system is just waiting for you to pay the required $1 processing fee for scanning the card. Simply fold a greenback into a tiny square and insert it into any USB port.

It's Caps Lock--Capisce? "HOW DO I TURN OFF CAPSLOCK? I ACCIDENTALLY TURNED IT ON YESTERDAY AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO TURN IT BACK OFF."

I stumbled across these sets of questions that people ask- I mean dumb questions that people ask. Some of these questions are not as funny as the answers given. But honestly, are there people like these? I know there are so many smart people out there as well as not so much smart people, however, going through some of these questions make one wonder what kind of people ask them. Of course some of the questions makes one to think deeply. In all, I find them funny and want to share them with you all. ![]()

Thank God you didn't ask people to bath with pepper water because even so, some will still go ahead and do it even though it sounds illogical. |
Money makes man run mad |
We go soon baf with pepper water ![]() |
Why peddling such falsehood because election is around the corner? Do you think the Ooni is such a small fish that the Federal government can toy with let alone a state governor? Even if it was possible, Ogbeni wouldn't be that unwise to carry out such order... |
zerray: buahHahahaAha, no wonder- so you are posted to Abia? Please pass across my regards to Olatunji (Inter Rel) from OAU Ife. He is the egg of the family. ![]() |
Blockus: Erm... Fhuck Africa!Ori e pe. Your head is complete. |
I didn't bother to read the above article since the poster above me seem to suggest that the writer tilts towards getting divine intervention. Anyway, me thinks that the ebola virus is nature's ways to trim the population. As we have heard, some have the genes to withstand the immunity-destroying effect of the virus while others don't. This suggests that this is another mechanism by which our evolution continues- only the fittest survives... |
