Thanks for responding. The concern here is the NOC code selected, in relation to the reference letter. The employer made some changes to the job description in the reference letter; so I'm not very sure it fits perfectly with the chosen NOC code. The changes are minor, but I still have slight concerns. So can a mismatch between NOC code and reference letter result in a rejection/cancellation or a refusal? and if it's a refusal, can this be resolved if the spouse reapplies as the primary applicant? joo2018: |
Quick question for EE gurus on the house please. Let's assume we create an EE profile with my spouse as the primary applicant, get ITA, apply and then application gets rejected. Can we create another profile with me as the primary applicant immediately? Does the 11-month ban apply if I'll now be the primary applicant? Thanks |

NOC gurus in the house, I need your advice please. I intend to apply under NOC Code 6314 Customer and information services supervisors. My current job title is "Client Service Consultant", and job description in the drafted reference letter is as follows: - Provide support to and coordinate activities of front desk officer to ensure timely renewal of insurance policies - Provide support to and coordinate activities of dispatch riders to ensure complete and timely delivery of policy renewal letters to existing customers - Develop process documentation for the Insurance customer policy renewal process - Proactively ensure that renewal premiums are collected before the due date - Liaise with the Underwriting and Sales teams to ensure that policy renewal process for Insurance customers is completed end-to-end - Prepare and submit General Insurance Renewal and Customer Persistence reports on a regular basis Please I need your thoughts on how suitable this job description is for the NOC code. Please has anyone been in a situation where your school says they have sent the verification email to WES; whereas WES is claiming they have not received anything? That is my current situation for my school and my wife's (Uniben and Unilag respectively). Both schools insist they have sent the verification emails almost 3 weeks ago; yet WES still says they haven't received any verification from both schools. Please how do you advise I resolve this? |

However, I called WES and they claim they have not received any verification from my school. Please do you have a contact in Uniben that can verify that they have actually sent my verification to WES? Is it possible that they have actually sent it, but WES is falsely claiming that they have not received it? How did you go about confirming your verification was sent from Uniben? Please is there anyone that knows who can help with WES verification from Uniben? I have been stuck at the verification stage for over a month now; 2 weeks ago, my contact from Exams and Records said that they had sent the verification back to WES; but WES claims not to have received any email. The problem is my contact in Uniben does not pick my calls anymore; I live and work full time in Lagos, and I'm trying to avoid having to travel all the way to Benin just for this final stage of the ECA process. I would immensely appreciate any suggestions from someone who has done this before with Uniben. |

Hello all, I have a few questions as I prepare for ITA, which hopefully I should get sometime in May. My wife and I are applying (with her as the PA). We were just informed by our respective contacts in our schools that they have sent our verification back to WES. So hopefully our WES ECA reports should be out sometime around middle of May. We have also scaled through IELTS and our CRS stands at 458. So my question is how early can we begin to put together our requirements? How long does it take on the average to schedule a medical test and get the report out? Is it okay for the date on the medical report to precede ITA? Is it acceptable for the date on the employment reference letter to precede ITA? If so, boy how many weeks? In other words, can we start processing job reference letter in April even though we may not apply till May ending? Are there any requirements that I can only start processing after ITA? Or can I just start collating everything now? |

I just sent my degree certificate to WES via fax using Hellofax after receiving a notification from them yesterday. My concern is that it took WES over a month (about 40 days after receiving my transcript) to notify me that they require my degree certificate. All along, the status of my evaluation had been "Evaluation in progress; you do not need to do anything at this time". So now I'm wondering if the 20 days are already counting. Also, I have still not received any message from WES that they sent my transcript to my University in Nigeria for verification. Do they skip that process sometimes? manlikegb: |

Hello all Please can anyone assist with the timelines for WES ECA? I commenced my ECA process early in January; as at 11 February, WES had received all my documents (University transcript and WAEC requirements) and updated my status to "Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time." It has now been this way for 11 days. I understand that WES will send my documents back to my school for verification. Please what status should I expect to see when WES sends to my school? Is it normal to take over 11 days after initially receiving my transcripts for my status to change? I need to know when WES sends the credentials to my school so I can start following up with my contact there. Thanks |
