Hello; my spouse studied Human Kinetics in Unilag (a 4 year course) and has 5 years of experience as a Customer Service supervisory. We intend to use Vetassess for her. Does it matter that her degree and job profile do not match?

Below is my IELTS Story from the 6th Thread.

Hello Everyone,

Trust we are all prepared for the 2019 train?

I will just like to share my IELTS testimony and encourage someone out there going through the wilderness of IELTS. My timeline is as follows:

Attempt 1= 1st Feb. 18 LRWS 8,8,6,7.5 (BC)
Attempt 2= 12th May LRWS 8, 6.5, 6, 7.5 (EOR W=6.5) IDP
Attempt 3= 18th Aug. LRWS 8, 8.5, 6, 7.5 (EOR W,S =6.5, 8 ) BC
Attempt 4= 13tH Oct. LRWS 8.5, 8, 6.5, 7 (EOR W,S =6.5, 8 ) BC

At this point i was just tired!!! After putting so much effort (after using JAY & LIZ writing materials and videos) i could not get above 6.5. I also made a call for Help here ohhh.... but no one offered assistance. Anyways while reading through the tread @Distinct777 mention that he/she used the materials on this site (https://www.ieltsadvantage.com) for writing....

Attempt 5= 15th Dec LRWS 8.5, 9, 7, 7.5 IDP

All praise be to God!!!! It ended in Praise!!!

Hello all
After almost 6 months post AOR, I just got to find out my visa office is AVO (Accra). The thing is, I haven't gotten any ADR since. So my question is does AVO sometimes issue PPRs without the 'famous five ADR'? Or should I still expect the usual request? Again my AOR date is 31 August 2019, and that's now nearly 6 months.
Thanks

Hello guys, quick question please:
I have just been asked to provide biometrics. I intend going tomorrow, but I'm unable to book an appointment with VFS. I called but got an IVR response that they close by 3 pm; and their website appears not to be functional for scheduling appointments.
Is it advised that I just walk in tomorrow? And if yes, what is the recommended time for me to get there in the morning?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amoskitto: 7:43am On Aug 26, 2019
Thanks for this clarification.
I actually thought that a Bank statement was sufficient. So does this mean that what I need is a letter from the Bank and not the Bank statement? And do I need to get this for all my Bank accounts or just the one I need to demonstrate proof of funds?

Stencil:
Absolutely.

Absolutely NOT. It can even sit in your account six minutes before applying.

Everyone needs the bank letter. Please check the CIC website to familiarize yourself with the process.

"Letter(s) must

be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead
include their contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
include your name
list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
include, for each current bank and investment account, the
account numbers
date each account was opened
current balance of each account
average balance for the past 6 months"

Hello fam
Quick question please:

The primary applicant (my wife) has been refused UK visa once on the grounds of insufficient funds, however she can no longer find the visa refusal letter. We have stated in the Personal History form that she has been refused visa; is it a problem if we do not have the refusal letter to upload? Would an LOE suffice?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amoskitto: 4:47pm On Aug 24, 2019
Thanks for the response sir

Lastdot:
@amoskitto

We seem to be in the same shoes. Haven't gotten a confirmation on this NYSC part on personal activities for me we didn't claim points with PPA.

Secondly since you are not the primary applicant, I had to delete my employment history. It won't request for supporting documents. Will only attach an LOE explaining that since we are not claiming points for it. Employment history was not included

For 3 you may have to repeat the history and for medicals, yes upload the e-medical info doc
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amoskitto: 11:06am On Aug 24, 2019
Morning fam. Please I have a few questions on the application. I'm trying to ensure I don't make any mistake.

1. Personal History (Personal Activities): Do I have to include National Youth Service in our personal history? (note that I have already included PPA during the NYSC period as part my employment history). So am I still required to mention NYSC separately as part of personal activities, bearing in mind that it will overlap with employment history?

2. Employment History for Spouse: Since my wife is the primary applicant and I am not getting any points for my work history, I'm surprised that I'm still required to upload documents for Employment History. So I just plan to include my most recent promotion letter without any additional documentation (e.g. employer's reference). I hope this is in order.

3. Travel History: A follow up to the question I asked before; so under the Spouse form, I had given my detailed travel history. Do I have to repeat documentation of my travel history while filling out the form for the main applicant (i.e. my spouse)?

4. Proof of upfront medicals: I assume I will upload the scanned e-medical Information Sheet I received from Q-Life after the upfront medical test. Is this correct?

A follow up question please; my wife is the primary applicant while I'm the spouse; having entered my own travel history under the section for spouse, do I still have to repeat everything under the section for the main applicant, since I am her family member?

Topsmamen:
Yup! You, your spouse and kids.

"Has Jon Snow, Khaleesi (ex Mrs. Drogo) and the 3 dragons taken trips outside Winterfell or House Targaryen in the last ten years. Include all trips: dothraki training, tourist trip to buy Missandei, invasion of Westeros, trip to burn down King's landing, etc?" grin

Post AOR guru's please; I need your advice:

"Has Jon Snow, and if applicable, Jon Snow's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc?"

Are we expected to include details of travel history of every one of our family members? shocked

Post ITA Gurus in the house please:

Q1: "Provide complete details of military and/or paramilitary service for any country in whose armed forces "ABA ACA" has served at any time": Should I include NYSC here?

Q2: Please confirm that I do not have to include my secondary school education as I am not claiming points for it (finished secondary school over 15 years ago)

Thanks

Hello guys;
Quick question for the post-AOR gurus: so I just got ITA today after waiting in the pool for over 2 months smiley. I have gone through the application forms, and I can't seem to locate where or how to upload the required documents (e.g. employment reference letters, POF, etc.). Is it that after I complete all the forms and submit them, I'll be taken to another page with the placeholders where I'll upload the documents?

I didn't go through ETX-NG; I had a contact at Exams and Records (who also works for ETX-NG). So I was dealing with the guy directly. My verification has been sent to WES; my profile on WES was updated mid last week. My ECA report should be out on 6 June. I think you should pay ETX-NG; apparently, it takes a while for WES to acknowledge verification; so the earlier the better.

eseh1:
any response from uniben yet ?... cos i just noticed i got a mail from ETX-NG stating that i should pay N8,100 for WES verification..the mail was sent since 13th may and WES sent me d verificatn mail on d 8th of may.

Hello POF gurus, I have a question please.
My wife is the primary applicant, but I intend to provide the proof of funds. Challenge is I don't have enough cash to transfer to her account. But there is more than enough funds from my RSA (25%) and treasury bills investments. So can I provide letter from my PFA and t-bill certificate, then do a notarized document stating she has access to my liquidated funds? Would that work?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amoskitto: 8:41am On May 18, 2019
First, I think you should use the CRS calculator to determine what your score is with you as the primary applicant and without your wife's credentials. If you score up to 450, then chances are high that you'll be invited to apply. But if your CRS score is less, you may need to boost your score with your wife's IELTS and WES ECA.

Depending on what your CRS score is, your wife may need to do either IELTS or WES ECA or both.

If she needs to verify her certificates, then you'll be needing a different WES account; you cannot share a WES account with your wife.

Aibisoye0:
Dear house, good morning....I have some questions and need clarifications. I'm applying for my family and I'm the primary applicant.

1. Does my wife need to verify her own certificates as well?
2. Does she need to take IELTS?
3. If she needs to verify her certificates, can one WES account be used for my wife and I?

Thank you as you clarify
