Pep the local tactician. The Neymarbot that keeps on calling me olodo let's leave trolling aside I don't think you have a better sense of judgment than I do when it comes to football. You can take this to the bank. The bot that relies on twitter for analysis and judgement |

airmark:I have been his student for long because I find his views intelligent but I will call him out whenever he errs just like I do to my other teachers. I'm not a blind follower of his . On this Walker issue he's goofed big time he should admit just like how I did the last time |
I think it's disingenuous to say that Trippier was better than Walker or to even imply that when the former benched the latter during the closing stage of Walker's career at Spurs. Do you play an unhappy player ahead of a player who is ready to contribute to the course? |
Hats off to Pep for winning the league back-to-back he has justified his spending so far, to win the league you have to be the best consistently over the course of the season, kudos to Klopp for giving him a tough fight the kind we have not seen since 2011-2012 season. As for Chelsea we are a striker and 1 or 2 other signings away from being a title contender. Hazard saved us this season despite his contrasting form over the course of the season. We need to upgrade from Higuain, Willian, Pedro and Azpillicueta to high grade options else we risk falling back behind. Sarri should be backed in the transfer window and giving time to fully implement his playing style. Patience is key. Now let's win EL to end the season on a high. |
You can't judge a player after a season give him another season to see if he will come good, so far Kepa has shown promising signs despite some bad moments. Kepa is not doing bad judging from the fact that he just signed for a new team, in a different league and to the fact the team is in transitional phase. The impatience from some section of Chelsea fans isn't good for long-term growth as it doesn't give manager and players much needed confidence to try out new things. |

Raumdeuter what's the net spend of Chelsea last season among the top six teams this season? Only Tottenham spend less I think |
NPComplete:Let me agree with you that I exaggerated a bit with my previous post on this thread, but on the other hand science can't explain everything and science will never explain everything. Some from the scientific community want to make us believe that science is the absolute truth which isn't true and when they failed to establish a proof for something using empirical evidences they use convoluted languages to obscure the truth. For more on visit this http://www.aboutatheism.net/index.cfm and read some of the articles |
The thing is science can't explain everything and scientists themselves know this, when certain things cannot be explained by science due to limitations beyond their comprehension they tend to use carefully worded statements to attribute it to dark matter and energy. |

Thank God Wanyama is out for Llorente he's been uber useless turning over possession time without number. i have a feint hope that Tottenham may likely win this game. I said it first |

Chelsea played a decent game last night but they were poor in the beginning. Loftus-Cheek- casual in possession at first thus leading to turnovers, afterward, he was composed and tidy in possession making most of the attacking moves, he later assisted Pedro for the important equalizer. In the second half, he bossed the game with his strength, skills and runs and passes. Jorginho- had his best game in Chelsea jersey orchestrating play, making crucial interceptions and tackles. He did put Kante in trouble by giving him a pass when he was being marked and that led to a chance that was blocked by Luiz. Willian was poor overall he played without any sense of urgency, made few decent attacking moves but decision making was poor. Pedro- he was solid but not spectacular and grab all the important away goal. Christensen- he struggled to deal with Frankfurt press and counters during the opening spells but he was tidy in possession overall and dealt with aerial balls well. Luiz- responsible for Jovic goal by not marking appropriately when Jovic was signaling for the ball otherwise he had a solid game with a crucial block in the second half. Hazard- the less said about him the better, he was so disinterested, slow down attacks and should've been rested entirely for the game. Kante- he was full of running making crucial interceptions and tackles caught up in possession once otherwise, he had a decent game. |
I'm not taking the credits away from Barça but the game was lost the moment Klopp opted for a change in tactical setup to counterbalance Barça's hold on midfield play by dropping Firmino, Firmino by default is a press resistant player and his off-ball movement and spatial awareness would have proved useful in creating clearcut chances for the likes of Mané and Salah. I would have expected Klopp to sub him on immediately as Keita replacement when the latter suffered an injury. If you look closely you will notice throughout the large spell of the game that Mané and Salah were wide apart with little or no linkup play and rely mainly on scraps and highballs to run into. Having said the above, let me briefly discuss Liverpool's backline; using Joe Gomez is understandable because he's better defensively in the RFB position than TAA but TAA is better attacking wise. Matip is underrated as well as Robertson they played their hearts out and deserv more accolades. VVD is good but failed to live up to expectations last night he's too laidback thus costing his team in crucial moments. Overall Klopp played into Valverde's hand and the Barça coach capitalised on Klopp's naivety by subbing off Coutinho early and replacing him with Semedo this altered the dynamics in the second half. Arturo won the game with his tireless work rate and tactical fouls. Dembele's miss may proved costly but Messi is a living legend and is far more impactful than he is credited for. |
Good day folks I'd like to briefly comment on Benzema debate. Firstly, Benzema is not an Orthodox striker who plays for goals only, he likes to have a feel of the ball like the likes of Henry and Anelka in their playing days. Goals are secondary aspects of his game he mentioned this in an interview he granted to a French media outlet last year or so. Secondly, Ronaldo is a big factor in Benzema's output during their 10seasons together at Real Madrid, he did move to the left-channel to make room for Ronaldo to play centrally due to his excellent off-ball movement and spatial awareness dragging opposition players along with him. Ronaldo benefitted most from this though he sometimes returns the favour. Benzema goal return is good in the domestic and continental football, he is 4th or so among the UCL all-time goalscorers, scoring in major finals and important games. He disappoints sometimes but he is not a choker like Zlatan or Higuain in decisive moments. Overall he is a dependable player but he is no Messi or Ronaldo. |
