"With the Premier League now coming to resemble the private playground that Abu Dhabi intended it to be, Europe is the arena where Guardiola will have his work assessed.

But it’s too random, too uncontrollable, too emotional for his methods. It’ll take more than another £500m to win it." Uncle Dayo Peter Staunton says hi.

Credits to Spurs and Pochettino for their performance last night, over two games they were the better side.
Having said the above it is important to state why Guardiola lost the game.
When I saw the lineup and Gundogan deployed as holding midfielder instead of Fernandinho I said to a friend that Pep has lost the game because Gundogan is not suitable to that role as he is more of a box-to-box midfielder and lacks the positional discipline to play in that role. In the end, it proved costly.
Dropping Sane for Bernardo Silva was another blunder Sane's pace would've made it difficult for Spurs fullbacks does making Son and Moura focus on tracking the runs of Sterling and Sane.
Stones should have played ahead of Kompany or Laporte I don't know if he was injured but his recovery speed and long-passing skill are better than those of the mentioned players.

In the end, overconfidence killed Pep and Man City, not VAR or luck.
Eruditor you said no excuses last week but this week you are making silly excuses, isn't this doublespeak?

Hazard do dribble a lot but your criticism of his style is way overboard.

exactly. There were mistakes on both sides just like in every game, but ours proved costly.. Overall it was a decent game. Some of us are complaining just because we lost. Had we won or drew the match, some wouldn't have noticed the mistakes.
What irked me was the fact that before the match majority official Chelsea fans were rooting for a Liverpool win just to spite Guardiola forgetting that Tottenham are ahead of Chelsea with a game in hand, but after the game they were busy insulting Sarri and saying all sort of thrash.
This Chelsea team is spineless and lack leaders across board and this cast a doubt in their ability to lead us to Europa League glory so our attention should be focused on securing that 3rd position at the end of the season.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Amoto94(m): 8:57am On Apr 15, 2019
Chelsea played a decent game yesterday but lost due to individual mistakes in key moments and Rudiger's injury before halftime.
Hudson-Odoi was uber useless during the large spell of the game. Sarri is right for using him sparingly throughout this season, he is talented but not worth the hype.
Loftus-Cheek was clueless tactically as he kept on losing balls in critical areas and failed to thread through balls
Hazard is Hazard he was our best player no doubt but he needs good support and also he should be releasing the ball instead of doing needless dribbling in an attacking situation.
Willian offers a lot defensively as always but his output in the final third was underwhelming.
Jorginho was responsible for the second goal he should have come out in full force and intercept the ball immediately Salah dribble past Emerson and cut into his favourite foot.
Kepa should have counted a step before diving for the second goal but overall he had a decent game.

Here's a stat for you: Chelsea are now on 66 points after 33 games. That's just 4 points less than we had after all 38 games last season. And 9 points off the 75 points that had Liverpool finish 4th last year. Copied

I just pray this club find a good replacement for this guy if he eventually leaves.
A portion of the article reads, "Of course, there are those players who are out of reach. The third most similar player to Hazard is some chap by the name of Lionel Messi.
Good luck getting him."

"Claude Makelele on a recent RMC interview speaking about a ‘chat’ he had with Ronaldinho - “I would rather you come at me & dribble past me properly. But with all your PlayStation tricks, I’m going to put you in hospital! What did he do? He gave me the ball & apologised"

“When I play against Jorginho, I realise that he sees thirty seconds before the play; at Verratti you can’t take it off his feet.”

While Jorginho is not one of the 11 Chelsea players to have provided an assist for a goal this season, his expected assist total is 3.3. Only Eden Hazard and Willian can top that, with their numbers bolstered by being Chelsea's set-piece takers. Jorginho should not be judged because other players have been missing the chances that he has created.

Rüdiger lacks pace, can't pass and can't tackle? Some of you Chelsea fans are damn annoying and only watch goals not football and what happens during game.
One of Rüdiger's strength is his deceptive pace you'd think he lacks pace but he sprints a lot but you won't notice easily due to his lanky stature.
If there is anything that make fans to compare him with Van Dijk it's his passing ability, how many times he sends cross field passes and diagonal balls during games?
Rudiger tackles a lot that's why he gets beaten easily sometimes, his positioning is suspect no doubt but he tackles hard and aggressively too.

Algerian1, is the economy of your country good, what of security and infrastructural development? If the answer to my questions is yes then the protest is a waste of time and needless. If the citizens feel he's too old they should vote him out during the next election, or are the protesters just vocal minority?

@OP you allowed emotions to consume you and now you're in severe pains feeling betrayed. KANU is a typical 9ja politician who pry on the gullibility and disdain of his kinsmen to further his own agenda then mask it with cries of freedom and liberation.

I arrived Enugu this afternoon and headed straight to Presidential Rd. but I was unable to locate the venue, tomorrow first thing I'd try and locate it. I trekked the entire street with my backpack like a refugee asking from passersby one after the other but they couldn't direct me to the exact location.

I also received the mail. Although I applied for a position on an online job site, I know nothing about the company. Searched online for the company name but got nothing except other job sites advertising the company's vacancy and this thread of course.
I visited their website , they're into consulting, branding, web design, management etc.
