Export1:
Mercedes-Benz has created a new T-Class with Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi

According to the plan of the German company, the novelty will enter the European market in the first half of 2022.

The German company has long been cooperating with the Franco-Japanese alliance: their joint “brainchild” is the Mercedes-Benz Citan model – a cargo-passenger “heel”, which in 2012 replaced the seven-seat MPV called Vaneo. Citan is a facelifted Renault Kangoo. This car of the German brand will soon change a generation. In addition, the company announced another project – the T-Class.

The car that will open a new letter in the names of Mercedes-Benz models is a compact MPV, also created in cooperation with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. It will enter the European market in the first half of 2022. Probably, the new car will become a passenger version of the second generation Citan “heel” (by the way, the current Citan has passenger versions). The novelties will be based on one platform created for small vans.

Mercedes-Benz has been involved in the development of the T-Class (as well as the new generation Citan) from the very beginning, which means that these cars will have more differences from the Renault Kangoo (current cars have slightly different front end design and interior design). According to Daimler chief designer Gordon Wagener, the exterior of the T-Class will have a recognizable Mercedes-Benz corporate identity and a level of comfort corresponding to the brand.

It is known that the compact MPV Mercedes-Benz T-Class will be able to boast of ample space for passengers (the company noted that the model is suitable for ridesharing). Also, the car will have sliding doors on the left and right sides and a rich interior (the list of equipment has not yet been declassified). This model is aimed more at private clients, while Citan will be left to the commercial sector.

The “filling” of the Mercedes-Benz T-Class will be the same as that of the new generation Citan (and, accordingly, of the third generation Kangoo). There are no technical specifications yet. It is expected that versions with traditional internal combustion engines will remain in the range and there will definitely be options only for electric traction – both in the “second” Citan and in the new T-Class.

Foreign AffairsRe: Huawei Overtakes Samsung As Top Handset Maker Thanks To Robust China Sales by AmuDimpka: 6:22pm On Jul 30, 2020
dermmy:
SHENZHEN (Reuters) - China’s Huawei Technologies snatched the title of biggest smartphone seller from Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) in the second quarter, underscoring the resilience of the China market even as global demand for phones plunged amid the pandemic.

Huawei shipped 55.8 million devices in the April-June period, trumping Samsung’s 53.7 million, according to data from research firm Canalys.

The Chinese company has felt the heat of U.S. sanctions that have disrupted its business overseas, but the latest numbers show its rising dominance in its home market.

Huawei now sells nearly two-thirds of its handsets in China, which took an early hit from the coronavirus pandemic but has since reclaimed ground as new cases have dwindled. Smartphone makers dominant in other countries are still struggling as new virus cases continue to rise.

Huawei’s sales fell 5% from the same quarter a year earlier, while South Korea’s Samsung posted a 30% drop due to weak demand in key markets including Brazil, the United States and Europe.

“Our business has demonstrated exceptional resilience in these difficult times,” a Huawei spokesman said.

Domestic sales rose 8%, but Huawei’s overseas shipments fell 27% in the quarter.

The company’s stint as top seller may prove short-lived once other markets recover, a senior Huawei employee with knowledge of the matter told Reuters.

Samsung said on Thursday it expects smartphone demand to pick up in the second half of the year.

The United States has effectively blocked Huawei from using Google’s (GOOGL.O) services, damaging the attractiveness of the Chinese company’s phones abroad, and limited its access to chips crucial for 5G networking.

S&P Global Ratings said in a report on Wednesday the latest restrictions on Huawei could wipe out $25 billion in revenue from several Asia-based firms. Huawei has yet to publicly address the impact these curbs will have on its operations.

It remains unclear how much of Huawei’s second-quarter sales were driven by its 5G smartphones and high-end models that are most vulnerable to the restrictions, said Nicole Peng, vice president of Mobility at Canalys.

Please stop wailing Jonathan's loss of 2015, even Jonathan is fed up with the wailing. The rail project did not start under those that shouted "change " from the West. It was started under Obasanjo. In fact it was president jonathan that signed the contract with the Chinese, but he did not fulfil his end of the contract. Buhari came in and renegotiate the contract.

The contract has gone far now, are you suggesting Buhari cancel the contract and abandon the whole project? What is your suggestion on the way forward?
So where are the assets they would take

The more the pressure is in apapa the more there would be hardship on commuters, environment would be degraded and containers falling on people and killing them

So why don't you guys just spread the risk ? Do we kill our own people on the Altar of greed

Please! Anglican Church would require payment to bury you too, and I bet so would some other churches. The only difference is they charge according to your assumed wealth so the poor might pay less and be buried in less desirable graves in the cemetery, like near the back!
Catholics do require payment to bury also but not on this scale

This is on a different scale

This dude is the funniest person,I haven't earned salary in the past 4 yrs...I resigned started my own firm,I doubt if you pay salary ?you must still be earning salary

Son listen and listen good...business can never go beyond buying and selling ...that is what business is ! It's called the basics

Google buys and sells information
Microsoft buys materials and sells software
Benz buys parts and couples it and sells cars
Boeing buys parts and couples it sells it
MTN sells airtime And data ,same with glo etc
Nairaland sells avenue for people to chat ,talk and advertise
Consultancy firms sells their advisory services
Hotels sells their accomodations

So my little boy, busiineessis is still basically buying and selling unless you are in NGO,that is why marketing department is the most critical....

Wnat matters is the finesse in selling...as a firm owner I have seen many of these MBA folks mess up...I can't employ them, I rather employ hands on person than one 'clown

A State known for oil exploration shouldn't be this petty and hungry but the reverse is the case in Akwa ibom, a state that is known to export house helps apart from oil, killing kids in name of witches and not yet done, they brought up burial list

In neighboring communities like their Igbo and efik cousins they have marriage list not burial list but here in Akwa ibom they have a BURIAL LIST! is this an Innovation? Is this exportable ? Is it a way to take the derivative from oil via their people....

In short if you are from a poor family and you are in Akwa Ibom, don't just die! It doesn't make sense to die! They leave the leaving and tax the death

Both of them sell bread.
One has butter, the other, beans. It's not a healthy business partnership to me. It's competitive.
The butter customer might perceive the aroma of the beans and say, 'damn it, I will eat my bread with beans today'. And that might be the last time he will buy from the butter should he fall in love with the taste of the beans.

cool

It's called collocation or outsourcing....

One focused on their core service while outsourced the supplementary service.. this in long turn helps to reduce the OpEx cost ! Which leads to specialisation and increased customer relations which translates to profitability
