On the contrary, responsible parents will always assist their children in their job search by the way of speaking to friends and advising their kids. I still remember the troubles my parents had to go through in trying to search for a job for me (although they were not sucessful in the search but, anyways, i found my own job). A parents responsibility to their children doesnt stop at graduation.
