@op, you are really grating on my nerves!
zionmmv:
@QUEENSMITH, 'A man that i can pick up anywhere, why will i now base my life on him! mshew! i have important things to worry about jare!

Hun,any man you can pick up anywhere is not worth his onions.Raise your bar babes, The fact remains that I want to be size 2, that's my desire and if it hurts you, enjoy your fufu.If you are size 14 or 40,it's your cup of tea and you sure will pick your 'any kind of man', grin Nne biko, quit whining, and spare me all these 'security and insecurity sermons'.Join me and LETS loose weight.Maybe you don't know, the subconscious reason why you dress well or look well everyday is to attract the opposite gender (even if it's not your intention), and to create envy/ disharmony/competition among your mates. All your 'I look good for myself' are just defense mechanism, Wake up and smell the coffee babes, ladies dress their best to attract the best mate.Janet doesn't look her best for Ngozi to admire her or be attracted to her, She looks her best in order to attract the best mate around her.
you're just too vain girl! Why should people approval count so much to you.

Slimming to be healthy is fine, but to fit in a size 2 wedding gown? You really need to your head examined.

This is nairaland, not oyinboland. We africans are deep people, not shallow like all those whites you are trying cheaply to imitate.

I'm proudly a size 12, and don't have weight problems. I don't envy skinny people, don't wish to be like them.

As big as you may think i am, i still get 'them' in droves.

this sounds really interesting, whats the time frame for the dubai shopping festival? am currently on leave and if i still have leave days that fall into the period,i might as well make use of the opportunity,
dubai shopping festival is a month long. It starts on the 20th jan and ends 20th of feb. It's an annual event. I'll be there for two weeks (the last two weeks of the fest)
Travel › Re: Anyone Here Going For The Dubai Shopping Festival? by Amya(op): 4:06pm On Jan 14, 2011
Yeah, it's my first time. I'll probably be leaving first week of feb and stay through to the end of the festival.

One of the main aim (but by no means the only reason) of me going then is because i heard that there's usually up to 75% discount on items sold during that period. So i'm looking to purchase items cheap and take back to nigeria to sell and make very huge profit.

On the other hand, i want to treat myself to a good time at the most liveliest time in that country as they are expecting over 3.5 million people worldwide for the festival. It spells fun.

Well MI should Know that HIS NAME IS FOREVER RUBBISHED if he doesn't take out the KH pest properly.
RUBBISHED? Where? How? By nairalanders? What ever gave you all the impression that all your sickly opinions here on this forum goes in sync with the state of affairs in real life. Whether or not one person is good in jibes and word play when dissing another is immaterial to their musical prowless. You are good as a musician when you make good songs and not diss tracks.

So OP, why not you go and get a life, this thread is meaningless!

HTown Eve:
shocked huh
Your situation is serious.  cry

Something might have happened to you in the past that makes you scared that when a guy falls in love with you, you become vulnerable and let your guards down; he then leaves you.  Am I wrong?

Life is too short.  Don't be afraid of being hurt. Things that don't kill you will only make you stronger.
Pray for God's guidance and love the guy that loves you.   wink
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
you maybe right you know,
Mediatrix,

You fell in love WITH YOU WHO WANTED so why can't she fall in love with who she wants? Just because someone have a preference does not mean they are racist nor sexist. That just like saying you a racist because you won't marry your own kind or a gay man a sexist because he like men. WTF, shocked undecided

The girl have the right to LIKE WHOEVER SHE WANTS, and if she doesn't want a Nigerian man, SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO.

Poster get over yourself, NIGERIAN MEN aren't the only men IN THE WORLD, damn!
true, true,

Dr Alban , it's my life that guy sings total crap!
then, there's charlie boy, ninja bike, zaki azzy , burn fire, my advice, all these guys should resign from music before the embarrass themselves further.

TV/Movies › Were You To Be A Movie Star, Who Would You Be? by Amya(op): 6:56pm On Jun 29, 2010
if i were a Hollywood movie star, I'd be a Julia Roberts, because she's tall elegant and good looking combined with the girl next door look.

if i were a Nollywood star I'd be a Stefanie Okereke for those same reasons too.

who amongst movie stars do you think will play you perfectly.
