The Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on Tuesday said students who wore unauthorised cloths to any public schools in the State would be expelled henceforth. Aregbesola stated this at the commissioning of St Micheal’s Government Middle School, Ibokun while reacting to different choir robes and garments wore to Baptist High School in Iwo by some Christian students. He said it was wrong and criminal for a section or group of people to have directed some innocent students to wear choir robes to schools against court’s judgment. He urged whoever was not satisfied with the judgment to ventilate the grievance through legitimate means rather than trying to cause crises by resorting to self help. According to him,``Government is not interested in any religion as being speculated. My goal is to improve education standard in the state.’’ Deputy Governor Titilaoye Tomori, who doubles as the Commissioner for Education, said the inauguration of the school had confirmed their mission statement in education. Tomori said no fewer than 20 elementary, 22 middle and 17 high schools had either been commissioned or were at final stages of commissioning. State Chairman, Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr Felix Awofisayo urged people to pay tax so that government can do more. Some students of Iwo Baptist High School wore church garments and robes to school on Tuesday in reaction to the court ruling allowing Muslim female students to wear veils (hijab) to schools. Oluwasegun Fayose, the Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose’s eldest brother , has condemned the latter for instructing farmers to attack herdsmen. He said the governor’s directive did not portray him as a true leader. Oluwasegun, in an interview with The Nation in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, said his brother was embarrassing the family by some of his actions and utterances. According to him, “leaders are not supposed to make comments that are capable of inciting the public or bringing their family’s name into disrepute. “I totally disagree with him. I do not like what he is doing. He is dragging the family name in the mud. I read in national dailies that Ayo Fayose was inciting Ekiti people against herdsmen. “I have never seen where a leader talks like this before. I spent most of my life in Europe. I left Nigeria in 1976. My children are still there. I want them to be able to come home. I do not want to be harassed. Let it be on record that I do not support this kind of aggressive method of governance. He is too vulgar for my liking.” Rather than making utterances that do not portray him and the Fayose family as noble, Oluwasegun advised, the governor should keep quiet. A friend of mine received this text from Nigeria Police Force.
Can you imagine this coming from them.
I'm just wondering why should it be abbreviated.

Brymo's seeming nonchalant response to him has since sent shockwave through social media. Incase you are wondering why Brymo is a trending topic on social media at the moment, it’s not because of the recently released Klitoris album . Last night, a Twitter user reached out to Brymo asking him to help with paying his school fees. Brymo’s seeming nonchalant response to him that ‘School is not for everyone. Just drop out and chase your dreams, it’s what I did’ has since sent shockwave through social media. Brymo went on to share a few more reasons why ‘school is not for everyone’. @BrymOlawale Sometimes I think about life, where I have come from, my failures and triumphs.. Its all a lesson, that i must unlearn and then learn again.
