Not all romantic relationships lead to weddings, but when it happens, it is always a beautiful feeling for the couple, and they usually invite family members, colleagues, and fans to celebrate with them. At the end of last season, we had Super Eagles players like Peter Olayinka, Shehu Abdullahi, and Ahmed Musa marry their partners, some Nigerian players are doing the same this year. Paul Onuachu recently announced that he will be walking down the aisle with his Ghanian partner, Tracy Acheampong, and it happened on the 28th of May 2022 in Accra, Ghana. Many of his colleagues congratulated him, and a few of them followed him to Ghana. Henry Onyekuru, Ejuke and Frank Onyeka were with him, and they posted photos and videos of themselves in Ghana on their Instagram stories. Onuachu was at Olayinka's wedding, and it is good to see his colleagues with him in Ghana.

Former Governor of Lagos State and one
of the leading aspirants on the platform of
the All Progressives Congress, APC,
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has stated
that to lead the country as President, he
does not need the strength of a wrestler or
a Christiano Ronaldo. Tinubu, who was reacting to speculations over his health status, disclosed that all that is required for him if elected as president are ideas. The presidential hopeful disclosed this on Thursday while meeting with delegates of the party in Ondo State at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, ahead of the presidential primaries of APC. He maintained that he is not in the race for the money but for the betterment of the country and the people. During the visit to the state, Tinubu emphasised that he remained the only one and best among the aspirants to lead the party to victory in 2023. According to Tinubu, what Nigeria has been lacking is a spirit of unity and a sense of hope, both of which he claims he can restore. “When they talk about my health, I tell them, I’m not looking for a wrestling job, I don’t want to beat Ronaldo. I’m a better thinker and a better doer. “I want the delegates to distinguish us and separate us like a dip of kerosene on top of water. “My running is not because I need pockets of money, that was past. It is the love of the country, my people, commitment to development, giving value to education and better future for our children.”

A presidential aspirant under the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Olufemi Ajadi, has withdrawn from the 2023 race, to support the former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso. Ajadi, at a press conference he addressed at the NUJ secretariat, Okelewo, Abeokuta, said he has stepped down to be the running mate of Kwakwanso, who is also eyeing the presidential seat. The entrepreneur said: “Ladies and gentlemen, I Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, having considered many things, and in the interest of our great party and beloved country, today, relinquish my presidential ambition, to support the presidential candidacy of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as his running mate." The aspirant said this was done in the interest of the party and the nation, saying, “Senator Kwakwanso is a great Nigerian, an accomplished politician and administrator who will lift this country.” Speaking about the state of the nation, Ajadi regretted that nothing was working well in the nation. “Nigeria is a country that God Himself has blessed, but look around you today, you will agree with me that things are not working well. “There is hunger in the land, despite Nigeria having arable land and varieties of foods and crops. “There is insecurity in the country, despite an elected government, with the police, the Army, the Navy and the Air force “Our children finish school and there are no jobs. Is it a wonder that there is crime everywhere? Roads are in terrible condition. There is no public water supply, no electricity and all the basic necessities of life. But we have a government. We have billions of Naira in cash and assets. I now ask, What is the missing link? “Distinguished Nigerians, the missing link is selfless, sincere, and servant-based leadership, guided by the highest sense of equity and fairness. That is what we in the NNPP have come to offer,” he explained.

Soludo Visits IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu In DSS Custody... Soludo wrote in a statement: “I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East. He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. “He expressed sadness over what he described as “sacrilegious killings” of innocent persons, kidnappings and all forms of criminalities, including the brutal enforcement of the senseless “sit at home” perpetuated by sundry groups claiming to be acting for or on behalf of IPOB. We all have had to take public transport at one point or the other in our lives. It doesn’t matter if you own a car, there are a couple of times you must have end up taking a public transport for one reason or the other. While taking a public transport, we meet other passengers going about their own businesses and we sometimes have to exchange a few words or just mere courtesy with these passengers. But it’s a whole different ball game if you’re meeting a pretty lady in a bus. Sometimes, starting a conversation with a lady you admire is difficult because you don’t want to be ignored or embarrassed and many people end of just admiring silently because of this reason. Now, if you meet a lady you admire at first sight inside a bus and you want to try your luck with her, What is the best way to start a conversation with such a lady?

He also mentioned that the story about his son's car situation is not necessary because that is not the kind of message to preach in the poverty capital of the world, he said instead of preaching that kind of message Peter Obi should preach the message of hope to the people.
