Someone should remind him of the king that did that during the birth of Jesus and the link between Jews and igbos... so history won’t repeat itself So in your deranged mind criminal Igbo women should just have babies to avoid prison sentences. |

Obasanjo on Atiku "I settled for Atiku Abubakar. Some of the reasons were he worked hard for the project, he never indicated interest in the job to me, he had worked closely with Shehu Yar'Adua and Shehu never passed any adverse comment on him,he had been elected as a Governor which already put him on the pedestal to move up politically, but he had been short- changed in the election that would have put M.K.O.Abiola in power, and he seemed to have some national outreach. What I did not know, which came out glaringly later, was his parental background which was somewhat shadowy, his propensity to corruption, his tendency to disloyalty, his inability to say and stick to the truth all the time,a propensity for poor judgment, his belief and reliance on marabouts , his lack of transparency, his trust in money to buy his way out on all issues and his readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety truth and national interest for self and selfish interest. May be some of these traits and poor attributes are not easy to see until you work with the person concerned. And those who should tell would keep quite so that they would not be accused of running others down . For instance until later, when a distinguished chief from Bauchi pointed out to me the value of pedigree, queried Atiku's pedigree and blamed me for making a wrong choice, I did not pay attention to Atiku's parental background. Furthermore until all efforts to help Atiku change had failed- and having stumbled upon a report of inquiry carried out on him- I asked one of my predecessors why he did not inform me of how bad the report was and he said that he though I knew. He said, " This was a man I wanted to dismiss and jail but for the intervention of Shagaya and Shehu Yar'Adua. ". I took him at face value. However if his appointment was an error, I fully accepted responsibility for the genuine mistake. And knowing all that I discovered about him, what would have been an unpardonable mistake and sin against God would have been to foist him on Nigeria."

Nothing special
The government has to pay them their wage because they worked for it .
The bible says "A worker deserves his wages"
The government should not use this to score useless points . But the PDP government never thought it was worthwhile. Instead they distributed huge sums of security money for election bribes. That was wickedness in its extreme. Bring them back at your peril. |

Donbrig: Exactly why we need Atiku to take over in 2019. We cannot continue to live like slaves in our own country. Buhari has never established a business or written a book, how would he know anything about economy. I hope and pray Atiku choses Adesina from South West, so we can handle Osinbajo's influence in SW and get their huge voters supports. South East should understand the battle to rescue our dying nation, and we can all talk about regions after the rescue. And I believe South East will still handle critical positions under Atiku's administration. In Atiku’s time as VP the Nigerian Educational institutions deteriorated to an abysmal low, while Atiku built a multi million dollar private university affordable only to the richest Nigerians. That is how his economy works. If he becomes president we have to be ready to have the country mortgaged to him. |

You call 55 million Naira but how many Nigerians in diaspora will ever save such an amount? How many Nigerians lliving in 9ja will ever save up to 10 million in their lifetime? Forget all these yahoo boys and entertainers making it seems easy, majority of Nigerians were born poor, lives poor and will die poor. Nobody is holding Buhari's sickness against him! Yar'adua was sick (we all prayed for him)
Nobody is asking Buhari to perform magic of transformation Yar'adua did not perform magic, he took little steps in the right direction that endeared him to us.
There was global recession in 2007-2009, one man came, saved us from the crisis. Saved Billions of Dollars for Nigeria, increased salaries, reduce pump price. I don’t know how he did it when he was sick, and he didn’t blame anyone. His name is Umaru Musa Yar’adua. Take the right principles and everything will be right. franchasng: PDP will win Buhari if:
1.) Buhari organizes a free and fair election in 2019 like Goodluck did without repeating what happened in Osun and Ekiti States!
2.) Kwankwaso will throw his Kwankwasiya supporters behind Atiku
3.) Tambuwal will rally his caliphate supporters to work honestly with Atiku
4.) Saraki will throw his weight to still support Atiku
Atiku has won South south, Southeast and Middlebelt already.
The only regions he needs to focus on winning now is his own Northeast and Southwest.
But of course, Yoruba people will definitely vote Buhari just to spite Igbos, but who cares
If Buhari finally rigs the election as planned and wins, both Igbos, Hausas, Ijaws, Idomas, Binis and Yorubas will suffer it together.
For the sake of strengthening our democracy and passing a strong message to incoming presidents that they need to perform to win reelection, Nigerians really need to rally together and vote Buhari out no matter what!
Yorubas need to wake up!
Vice Presidential slot is nonsense!
Don't sell your future because of ordinary VP slot that have no say in government!!!
Wake up!
Support Atiku let's teach Buhari and other incoming presidents a lesson and make Nigeria stronger and united!! He is not just a vice presidential slot. Osinbajo is the next President after Buhari’s second term in 2023. Please wake up, and if your are thinking of Igbo Presidency in Nigeria, that will not be in this century. |

diebuhari1: Some of you don't get it, it's not about Buhari being Fulani or Muslim, it is about him being a tribal jingoist and religious extremist. It has shown in his appointments, handling of Fulani herdsmen's atrocities, and his criticism of the former government for killing Boko haram members. Atiku is a moderate Muslim and also detribalized Yes, I know that the tune will change. With the label of Fulani Jihadist attached to Buhari , it would be difficult to sell Atiku who is also a Fulani Northerner. Now they have to invent a new name for Buhari. |
