Juliusmalema:Igbo’s are not bothered by their own language. Every one of them wants to go to America. They worship the English language although the majority of them speak it so badly. |
U okefranci:You cleverly avoided Chukwuma Nzeugwu and Emmanuel ifeajuna who actually started the civil war from their ethnic cleansing coup of January 15th 1966. They started the war. The war started on January 15th 1966 and these Igbo officers fired the first shots. |
jimi4us:Nairaland seems to be taken over by IPOB terrorists. |
Will teach them sense
|
AroOkigbo:Christianity and shameful acts are like 5 and 6. Whether it is the support for Boko Haram, the adulterous Pastors , the Arms smuggler President Of CAN Ayo Oristejafor, the homosexuality in the Vatican and other churches and the sexual abuse of children, the tagging of children as witches in churches and punishing them, human body parts rituals by pastors and more and more and more.....the con - men jet riding Pastors swindling their naive congregations everyday in broad daylight are no longer affected by shame. |
flames01:God ( Allah ) cannot and will not have a Son. You are misled, Trinity is blasphemous. Please repent, God is far above the human weaknesses you attribute to him. See many verses of the Quran that you claim “was copied from bible “ for who God is. I will give you one example from Chapter 59 verse 23: هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ اَلۡمَلِكُ الۡقُدُّوۡسُ السَّلٰمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُ الۡمُهَيۡمِنُ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡجَبَّارُ الۡمُتَكَبِّرُ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ He is Allah(God), other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. |
flames01:Just as you are stupid enough to believe in 3 gods and that con-men Pastors will make you rich. Jesus did not write the Bible. |
travelwaka:Thanks. So lake Titicaca is not a hanging lake? |
flames01:Your sneaking around confirms your inferiority complex . Concentrate on your religion of three gods and prosperity con-men pastors and worship by music and dancing. |
flames01:What is wrong is your intolerant ,aggressive and insulting misbehavior against Islam . You are really an extremist and an ignorant person that has not much education and has not read the history of religions. It very good for Nairaland to give muslims a protected thread where they can discuss and improve themselves religiously without the evil and hateful extremists coming to insult them. But persons like will do anything including swearing a false oath to write hateful remarks against Muslims. |
Interesting! Only two suspended lakes in the world, one in Nigeria in Oyo State . In which country is the other one and what’s the name of that lake please? |
flames01:You got into this thread by telling lies and pretending to be a Muslim. Who will ever trust or respect such a hypocrite and mischief maker. Go and read both the Bible and the Quran . The Quran could not have been copied from the comedy you call bible. |
2special:Where? Give examples. Or are you one of the few mischievous persons that prefer hate to love? |
Governor Wike, Your situation worse than that of Pantami, your arrogance tyranny and embezzlement of people’s resources requires not only your resignation but also investigation and trial in the court of law. Pantami is a victim of hateful hostile press paid by corporate bodies to bring him down. He will not resign- eat your heart out.
|
Lagoon0:Then go and ask for it from Britain |
Pastor Kallamu Musa Dikwa in 2015 confirmed that Jonathan’s PDP Government bribed CAN with 7 billion Naira to campaign against Buhari. The pastor was promptly picked up by DSS of that time. https://www.nairaland.com/2166844/pastor-insists-jonathan-bribed-7 https://facesinternationalmagazine.org.ng/?p=2576 |
Borno and Zamfara are safer than Anambra and Abia at this moment. |
selemempe:The fear of Wike is the beginning of Wisdom for IPOBs. |
Agbegbaorogboye:You have just described many here on Naira land that take fictional stories from hostile press as gospel truth especially when other tribes than their own or other religious group are maligned. They don’t ask questions and hate anyone who wants to ask questions like the writer of this article we are talking about. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Why don’t you write your own and improve on his “poor job”. I hope you are not just another empty barrel. |
PlayMaker14:Good riddance , all of us Nigerians want this referendum . We are tired of IPOBs. But will the millions of Igbos making a living in Lagos,Ibadan , Kano, Kaduna, Warri, Sokoto, Port Harcourt, Birnin Kebbi, Benin, Akure, Yola , Maiduguri, Makurdi, Ilorin and Jos . Will they vote yes for this referendum and go back to the erosion ridden tiny enclave? You know that strict immigration laws will apply. Britain can give what they describe as asylum, But I don’t know how Britain can authorize a referendum. |
Pantami And The Hypocrisy Of His Detractors By Fredrick Nwabufo Sat Apr 17 2021 Profiling. Targeting. Scapegoating. In Nigeria, you are more likely to effectuate wry remarks and suspicious stares if you are the prototypical Muslim with full-bred beard, a ‘’decimal point’’ on your forehead – a sign of your devotion to Almighty Allah, and apparelled in modest trousers that stand aloof from the ankle than if you are a Bible-wielding evangelist piercing the dawn quietude of a drowsy neighbourhood with screams and shrieks of ‘’repentance’’. We live in a country that is autochthonously Christianised. Our ways are Christian. It is commonplace to profile Muslims who hold strong beliefs as ‘’extremists’’ but not Christians who arrogantly profess their beliefs anywhere and everywhere, even commanding obeisance to their faith. I have never heard any Christian described as an extremist – even when some church leaders make galling and inflammatory statements. In the build-up to the 2015 presidential election, Bishop Oyedepo vowed to open the floodgates of hell on the opponents of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Is this not an incendiary statement – by a man of god? This pastor also physically assaulted a penitent who came to his church for deliverance. But it was excused because he is a Christian leader. Christians are not extremists even when their actions vouchsafe this fact – but any Muslim can be summarily tagged an ‘’extremist?’’ When a Christian leader makes extremist comments, we call it ‘’holy anger’’. It is hypocrisy. In 2017, the DSS attempted to arrest Pastor Johnson Suleman after he publicly said he asked his security guards to kill any Fulani intruder around his church. He also threatened the government after state agents swooped in on a hotel he took residence in Ekiti. In addition, Pastor Enenche and others in the same phylum have made ungodly threats that border on bigotry and extremism. But they were all palliated – because they are Christian leaders. It is hypocrisy. Our society is subliminally attuned to certain precepts and ways that are predominantly Christian. Any otherness sets off an alarm. It is societal conditioning. Our society has been conditioned to readily see some people in one divide as ‘’extremists’’ and others in another category as ‘’devotees’’. A conditioning in hypocrisy. The avalanche of attacks – both sponsored and taxied – against Isa Ibrahim Pantami, minister of communication and digital economy, accents some Nigerians’ atavism and aboriginal hypocrisy. I would not want to dwell on the contents of some videos and abstracts rippling on social media because they have been politically ammunitioned for not kosher ends. Pantami’s only offence could be that he is a Sheikh heading a vital government ministry. Yes, some bigoted interests find his being a Sheikh in a sensitive public office exasperating. They cannot stand the fact that a notable Muslim leader is the superintendent of a key ministry. But Pantami is not just any Sheikh. He is a technocrat who knows his onions. He is not fish out of water at the ministry of communications. He trained as a computer scientist, obtaining a PhD from Robert Gordon University in Scotland. He bagged sterling credentials from Ivy-league schools like Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also attended Cambridge in the UK. But bigotry clouds the mind of those who see him as a Sheikh who has no business in the communications ministry. As a matter of fact, the kindler of the current social media blitz against the minister is beyond ‘’what he said or did not say in the past’’. Some interests in the communications industry who perceive him as impervious to inducement, a non-conformist and a strong character are working in the shadows. Pantami has taken some hard-line-decisions against the industry vultures that are desperate to draw blood. The controversy is a smokescreen to exact vengeance. Nigerians should not unwarily cavort on the playground of this horde. The truth is for every of Pantami’s detractor, the cause for grouse are interests not being served. The minister is not playing ball, hence, veiled daggers drawn. Those calling for Pantami’s resignation do not mean well for Nigeria. I believe he should be judged by his stewardship at the ministry of communications — not by his faith. If the social media blitzkrieg against the minister is because of his performance at the ministry, that will be a different matter. But it is not. Pantami is perhaps one of the most resourceful and responsive communications ministers Nigeria has ever had. Again, the minister should be judged according to his work at the ministry. And he has done a good job of that. I will not join the multitude to commit murder. Nwabufo tweets @FredrickNwabufo |

IPOB Terrorists. They make 70% of Nairaland Forum. |
Unnecessary and wasteful fuss over a dead body. This man should have been buried on the day he died. You can still celebrate the dead even when he is in his grave. |
ProudBoy:Ali Ndume is a serving Senator not a former Senator. |
Kingdemu:What was the past utterance that he withdrew? You don’t seem to understand anything. What he referred to as changing his position has to do with engaging in politics, nothing to do with terrorism which he never supported ever and was always campaigning against Boko Haram and their ideas. Try to look at things objectively and speak the truth. Don’t be a dumb tribalist. |
Kingdemu:What was the past utterence? Are you this daft? Jumping to conclusions when you don’t know the facts. |
SimplyFacts:You don’t want to farm and you kill all the Aboki in Sasa market, so how do you expect to have cheap peppers, tomatoes and other similar vegetables? |
