Sagay212: People sell illicit drugs because they are buyers who are ready. If your youths don't see the drugs to buy, they inhale lizard sh.it and gutter or glue or some terrible crap just to get high. Your fulani herdsmen have been farmers and raping women, even kidnapping people but to you it is fake news from media. But it is not fake news that they are supplying children from north to east. Your brothers smuggle themselves into the south, do not rent any house or shops, just look for some Bush and start erecting structures and claim they have the right to. Many of them are sleeping under the bridges. How many southerners are erecting structures in your bushes? The pay for shops, rent houses and set up business. It is only you that can explain the reason behind hiding in a lorry to another man's region if you do not have evil intentions. If you are used to it and see nothing wrong, it is strange to us. After all northerners are being killed in solution, southern Kaduna etc and you guys are not even bothered. It has become a normal thing for you guys but you expect us to keep quiet when we see you importing your people to the south? Na only una understand una agenda...ours is to stop it. You don’t seem to know the meaning of the word illicit. Because those psychotrophic and opioid drugs have serious effect on the human body ,all responsible governments in the world make it illegal and a punishable offense to sell those drugs except under some conditions. So all law abiding decent citizens will not sell those illegal drugs. Here you are using your ibotic sense or lack of sense to say that because there is a market that is why you can ignore the law and go on selling those poisonous chemicals for humans to consume. Your problem is clearly is that you are misfits in a civilized law abiding societies . The absence of civic responsibility in your culture explains your excapades in illicit drug trafficking worldwide. The Igbos are the drug swallowing mules to China to Thailand to Malaysia to Indonesia and they are the drug traffickers to India and South Africa. Nigerians are hated world wide because of your refusal to conform to international law decorum and etiquette. You chose to be animals and outlaws who are ready to kill Maime and cause misery to thousands for money. Remember the 6 Igbo young men attacking bureau de change in broard day light to steal money in Dubai. In every every yahoo-yahoo crime and in every human trafficking episode you will find 90% Igbo involvement. Out of 22 criminal Africans arrested by the FBI 21 were Igbos. The Igbos are well know and make a large proportion of the prison population all over the world because of their cruelty greed and sheer wickedness against other people. Your women are on the streets of Europe and all over the world shamelessly selling their bodies to anyone. You have baby factories and you produce fake and dangerous drugs and sell them with no conscience and blaming the victims for their own destruction in your hands. You fight your own kith and kin and cut them to pieces with matches just because of disputes on tiny plots you call family land. With all these you turn away your faces shedding crocodile tears on Almajiri problems. You hate the Northerners and want to reduce every Northerner to status of Almajiris when you are morally bankrupt animalistic pagan tribe with no human values. Please go and fix your attitude and culture first and stop pointing fingers. We have to call a spade a spade. |

Sagay212: The difference is one group move in night buses with AC. They pay up to 15k transport fare and enter into the north gallantly without springing up any form of suspicion. When the enter, they go do their business of selling in their shops no matter how small. Most importantly, they never ever attempt to attack or kill anybody in the north.
But you see the group from the north are smuggled inside a lorry with about 50 cows and goats under terrible stinky and dirty condition all the way from the north to the south. They hide inside these lorries..WHY? and when they get to the south, they have no house to go or shop to open. Yes some of them do petty jobs like shoe makers, sell pepper, soya, doya, or fruits or dustbin carriers or fetch water. But majority of them are beggars and they are quick to attack and kill their hosts over the most senseless things you can ever imagine. Almajiris are not only little children, their are plenty of almajiri adults too. We YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE? IT'S CLEAR You have tried, but you forgot to mention the illicit drug peddlers who are 99% from the east involved in clinal sales of drugs to the northern youths and what about those supplying children they stole from the north to the criminal slave market in Onitsha. They enter in to the north gallantly and many of them committing atrocious crimes . The story of northerners killing their hosts in the east is of course the usual lies of hateful people who come in their millions to the north but hate any migrant person in their mists. Northerners will never kill anyone in the east , a people who operate by jungle justice spontaneously killing any suspect especially a visitor. What would be the motive for northerners to go to the East and be “ be quick to attack and kill their hosts” as you shamelessly stated? What is the motive? Is it theft? A Northern thief targeting Igbos has better chance in Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri or anywhere in the north where the Igbos have more resources and their are millions of them. . How can you waste your energy to travel on trucks and go and attack poor miserable village Igbos who are violent and are killing their brothers daily for tiny pieces of family land? |

To my mind this death and the office closure has nothing to do with COVID 19, but has everything to do with the probe of the 500 ghost contracts ammounting to billions of Naira.
Will you be surprised if the whole building ( including the fake contracts documents) is in the next few days engulfed by fire?
Remember, that they were careful to mention the switching off of all electrical appliances during the 2 weeks closure.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
If I was the President. I would send 100 fireman with 20 well equipped Fire engines to keep a 24/7 vigil around the building for the 2 weeks. Just in case. And I would probe Bassey Itang’s death as suspicious. Covid 19 is a red herring. |

Olaide1295: For a second, i thought this was NCDC. Scared the shit out of me This is more scary as it may be related to the 500 ghost contracts. The sentence emphasizing that all electrical appliances be switched off may be an alibi for a planned “accidental fire” consuming the building and the fake contract documents within. |

Young Northerner looking for unskilled labour have been going to the south for over 100 years now. Same as southern artisans, traders , skilled and semi skilled workers from the south going to the North to earn a living. The lockdown brought out this movement more clearly. These migratory workers have always moved in lorries and trucks just as huge numbers of Igbos move to the north in night buses. Almajiris are younger and they are a Northern problem , they have nothing to do in the south. |

fairfora: this is once again incorrect. I never formed any theorises its a fact. It's very wrong to cite adultery when it comes to shaking hands with women. If you say islam forbids it, fine. If your mind is dirty, you have no business shaking hands with the opposite sex. Mere looking at her could attract attention , not to mention shaking of hands. Christianity does not forbid shaking of hands with women. In islam, you not shaking hands with women doesn't make you holy either. If your mind is pure, you can shake hands and hug them without any ulterior motives. Don't even talk about this in the western countries cos people could see you as a different being. They rarely shake hands...they hug and everybody goes their separate ways. It's their way of life. There is comprehension challenge, we can’t continue this discussion with you. Have a good evening. |

Brendaniel: What progress are you talking about, look the reason Nigeria is the way it is today is because our leaders do not tackle problems from root, they like shadow boxing, same reason why boko haram is till existing till today, same reason why corruption is still thriving till date, look all this effort is like shadow boxing and remember this is just a governor's order, it is not law, a new government can come in and reverse all the effort Gov. El-rufai has made because it is not law, the kind of action needed by our government today to make this country better is not what I'm seeing they are doing, the are handling matured matters with kid gloves, why I'm not happy nor sad about the north is that they have chosen to be that way, If you try to help they tag you as an enemy like what you are doing, the truth about the north is any effort less than putting strict laws and enforcing it is a total waste, same thing goes with Nigeria, you don't pamper dangerous attitudes, that's what the north and Nigeria has been doing, so I'm only speaking the truth... You are talking about the north as if the south is heaven on earth. If Finger pointing makes you happy, just carry on. The Almajiris problem is very bad and very sad, I’m optimistic that some progress may be made. Enjoy your misery and blame game, what have personally done for Nigeria? |
Politics › Re: Why Abike Dabiri Attacked Pantami, Communications Minister by AnanseK(m): 6:20pm On May 26, 2020 |
fairfora: You tried but it's still not a substantiated proof. You harped on adultery in your post and holy book references made, which is totally different from the stand point or facts about shaking hands with women. My question is, is every woman an adulterer? Lusting after women is different from shaking hands with them. What of the white who do this as an expression or form of greetings? Some even hug without any illicit feelings. If your mind is dirty as a man or woman, then it's a different thing. Shaking hands with women isn't same as lusting after them. Even in the islamic world, most of those strict laws which didn't favour women are being relaxed now. Women now drive in Saudi Arabia, they go to stadium to watch football, participate in sports, go to work etc, all which were once a taboo. Nigeria adopted islamic doctrine very extremely and most times, very wrongly, christianity too. We worship religion rather than practice it. I'm not sure there's a Christian who would not be opposed to shaking hands with women. Buhari himself shakes hands with women and that doesn't make him lustful after them. So in your view what are the reasons why some people decline from shaking hands with women? The reasons you gave in your first posting are totally wrong. Perhaps you can ask such people themselves instead of forming your own theories. One thing I’m sure of is they do have respect for women. If you think a man’s body contact with women ( who are not related to him ) through hugging and hand shaking is what indicates respect, then that must be your own culture. Others may think differently. |

Politics › Re: Why Abike Dabiri Attacked Pantami, Communications Minister by AnanseK(m): 6:10am On May 26, 2020 |
fairfora: Enlighten me pls... Thank you. To suggest that “religious” persons who avoid shaking hands with women do so “ because women are filthy or incomplete creations “ is a gross misunderstanding of their reasons. (And I’m not a clergy and I do shake hands women.) The Book Of Mathew in the Bible ( Mathew 5: 27-28) says “ But I say unto you , that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart “ In the Quran 17:32 it says “ And go not close to adultery, it is an indecency and an evil way.” Both sight ( as in the Bible) and touch ( as in the Quran) above are sensations that evoke erotic feelings among men as far as applying them to women is concerned. Many men of God and men who try to abide by the scriptures make effort not to stare at women and not to make contact with women who are not their wives and not their blood relatives. They do that to avoid or to keep distance from the evil act( adultery) as described in both the Bible and the Quran. So I do not believe that those who do not gaze at women or those who avoid “ tapping currents” from the wrong sources are doing that to degrade women. You asked for my view and that is it. |

Brendaniel: How sustainable is this, it is like pouring water inside basket, you still have the high rate of production of children that are still been sent out to study only islamic studies then the government is spending billions to take them off the streets, when a single law that makes every parent responsible for the children they give birth to will end this.
I just keep wondering what the north is expecting in the next 10 - 20 years to come if as today there are over 13 million out of school children studying just islamic studies, the question I ask is do these over 13 million and counting children all are going to become islamic clerics, I mean think of over 13 million human beings who are studying nothing other than islam to become what in future, not doctors, not engineers e.t.c, over 13 million and still counting, look what we are seeing today in the north( terrorism and all) is as a result of what they have been doing for decades when their population was lesser now imagine now that their population has skyrocketed without any adjustment to improve on the system that has brought them to this level, I shake my head each time I think about the north, If I say what I wish for Nigeria now, one mod will delete my comment... If you really mean well. You will recognize some progress and give encouragement. But all can see through your self conceited condescending remarks. Your crocodile tears are not needed my friend. The usual scam. There is no movement of Almajiris to the south. Those going to the south are not Almajiris. They are unskilled migratory laborers and have been doing that for last one hundred years or longer. They go for menial jobs , megurd , wheel barrow pushers , coblers and motorcycle taxi drivers, butchers, su ya sellers etc.
Same way traders and artisans from the south have been going to the north for upto one hundred years, car spare parts sellers, mechanics, welders, bricklayers, building material sellers , electronics dealers, shop keepers etc.
Almajiris and their Mallams ( teachers) have nothing to do in the south.
I have no idea why this deliberate mischief( Almajiris going to the south) is promoted and for what benefits.
If you see real Almajiri in the south it means he was stolen child from north to be sold at Onitsha slave market. |
