We are talking science and science speaks for itself. The high powered advocacy visit is unnecessary as the minister of health has no right or the power to approve the use of any new drugs on human subjects without following the standard protocols of drug trial and approval.

Instead of wasting the time of traditional rulers the drug promoters should stay in the lab and do more verifiable scientific work.

The work will speak louder than anybody, if their hypothesis is proven.

Virtually all those killed daily in Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara States are muslims while in Niger and Kaduna states are a mixture. In Borno and Yobe more muslims are killed.

Nigerians should unite in forcing the government to fight insecurity all over the north and the country rather than listen to the divisive British unfounded propaganda.

As far as uncomplicated viral infections in general are concerned, steroids like Dexamethasone would normally be expected to worsen the infection.

Dexamethasone a corticosteroid with potent ant-inflammatory and anti-immune action has always been used in intensive care medicine.
I would be most surprised if it Doctors caring for moribund patients with systems failure and on ventilators were denied the support of Dexamethasone whether their condition originated from viral infection such as covid-19 or not.
