Derrinclay:
Hmmm Nigerians, I just can't understand why they inscribe Arabic, when more than 50 percent of the population don't even know how to speak it, even most Muslims don't know how to speak it,will it be wrong to replace the Arabic inscription with Hausa Igbo and Yoruba .?
It is not arabic my friend. It is hausa, written in Arabic script and it only tells you the amount ( value of the currency you’re holding).
Politics › Re: Malcolm Omirhobo Sues FG, CBN, AGF Over Arabic Inscription On Naira, Army Logo by AnanseK(m): 4:47pm On Jan 10, 2020
pesty100:
it doesn't affect anybody's life, the thing is there should be a separation of the state and the church(i.e Religion) putting Arabic inscriptions on our currency because we have plenty Muslims or quoting Bible verses on our currency is not right since the country is supposed to belong to everybody
That’s why I said ignorance is your problem. The writing on the Naira is arabic text ( but not arabic language) denoting the amount of money value of the particular note, in hausa not in arabic. This was introduced by the British colonial government in 1916 to inform of value of various bank notes. There are people who can read Arabic script but cannot read the Roman script. This has nothing to do with religion.
Church services conducted in Nazareth are conducted in arabic bcause the vast majority of people in the city of Nazareth ( The hometown of Jesus are arabic Speaking people’s). Don’t be an extremist, read widely.
Politics › Re: Malcolm Omirhobo Sues FG, CBN, AGF Over Arabic Inscription On Naira, Army Logo by AnanseK(m): 3:58pm On Jan 10, 2020
This is the arabic bible. It was written down hundreds of years before the English bible and Arab Christianians are using it every day in their religious activities. When did they translate the Bible into your language?
Ignorant people everywhere shocked

Politics › Re: Malcolm Omirhobo Sues FG, CBN, AGF Over Arabic Inscription On Naira, Army Logo by AnanseK(m):
The roaman script you write with is not Nigerian either and it was brought by Christian Missionaries.
We can stop the Arabic script and stop the Roman script and then see how we can inform through writing.
All these trouble makers how does a word of arabic affect your life? Arabic bible was written down before the English bible and Arab Christians conduct their service in arabic. Ignorance will kill my people.

So ebonyi is the only state from our south east that Buhari allowed to pay this minimum wage? huh

It is getting more obvious that tyrant Buhari hates we igbos with passion. angry

Is it because we preffered our southern athifku to come save us? undecided
It is your genetic greed and wickedness against your people that will not allow your Governors to pay the paltry minimum wage.

If you have Biafra , you will not even pay salary at all.

Even the richest states in the south with Governors collecting billions of Naira every month will still live their population impoverished and their states undeveloped. AKWA Ibom, Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa states could easily compete with Dubai if they were not lead by Animals.

No religion is a monopoly of black sheeps aka bad eggs. As much as I wholeheartedly condemn the acts and actors, I want to draw the attention of nairalanders to be the judge in these points I would be raising.

1) Is nairaland pro-islam?
2) Is'nt the platform meant to be cosmopolitan?
3) Why do we hardly see these kind of reports of Islamic clerics? Despite the sodomy and paedophilia happening across both major religions?
4) Why do you have to certify that you are a Muslim before you can comment on Islamic threads and similar treatment isnt given for pro-christian threads?
5) Can the mods stop this systemic smear campaign? Or atleast make it evenly distributed?

I wish we can get a response from them dispelling this bias.

Thank you
Answers:

1. No, Nairaland is a successful social forum for all with no bias. A popular forum for all made possible through years of hardwork and innovation.

2. As in 1. above

3. The reports are taken as they come in randomly. I guess what you are seeing is a reflection of the true statistics in real life. You can of course send more true stories and incidents that you know of for sharing and for discussion

4. I don’t know but I believe the managers have noticed the aggressive and insulting nature of mainly non Muslims even in a mainly educational Islam topic. People will even claim to be Muslim so as to get a chance to curse and insult Muslims. The Muslim folk in general have a high respect and reverence for Jesus Christ ( Peace be upon him) himself a Prophet Of God and his mother Mary , the woman of highest virtue since beginning of creation, (may Allah be pleased with her). So true Muslims will never insult Jesus ( AS) or the Virgin Mary or True Christianity.

5. I am not part of mods , I have no idea who or where they are , the above are just my opinion based on common sense and years of observation on NL.

The US is looking for a way to justify the huge sum they spend on defense every year.
One thing is certain: President Trump doesn't blow too much grammar like Obama.
He speaks in clear terms and fortifies his words with action. Take it or leave it, he's not a coward.
The coming months will be super interesting.
Iran should grow some balls and stop the identification.

A soldier doesn't reveal his plans before striking.
But he can divert attention and strike where it is not expected
