A. JOB TITLE - PLANNING OFFICER GRADE II
Placement - Grade Level 08
Nature of Appointment - Permanent and Pensionable.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Interested candidates must possess a minimum Degree of Second Class Lower Division (2:2) in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Development Studies or related subjects from a recognized University.
• Plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
• Possess a testimonial of good conduct from the last Institution attended or employer.
B. JOB TITLE - BUDGET OFFICER GRADE II
Placement - Grade Level 08
Nature of Appointment - Permanent and Pensionable.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Interested candidates must possess a minimum Degree of Second Class Lower Division (2:2) in Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration or related subjects from a recognized University.

KEY DUTIES:
• Carrying out routine economic analysis.
• Collecting and collating data required for economic analysis.
C. JOB TITLE - PLANNING OFFICER GRADE I
Placement - Grade Level 09
Nature of Appointment - Permanent and Pensionable.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Interested candidates must possess an Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Statistics, Development Planning or related discipline from a recognized University plus at least 3 years post qualification cognate experience.
• Plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
• Possess a testimonial of good conduct from the last Institution attended or employer.

KEY DUTIES
• Undertaking data and project analysis.
• Undertaking general planning duties at the sub-sectorial level.
• Assisting in examining planning policies.

D. JOB TITLE - BUDGET OFFICER GRADE I
Placement - Grade Level 09
Nature of Appointment - Permanent and Pensionable.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Doctorate Degree in relevant field plus at least one year post qualification cognate experience.
• Plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

• Formulating planning policies at a sub-sectorial level.
• Devising methods for the collection and analysis of sectoral economic and statistical data.
• Initiating projects and programmes.
• Undertaking policy formulation and analysis and project evaluation.

F. JOB TITLE - SENIOR BUDGET OFFICER
Placement - Grade Level 10
Nature of Appointment - Permanent and Pensionable.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Interested candidates must possess an Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics or related discipline from a recognized University plus at least 3 years post qualification cognate experience.

1. The under listed candidates who were successful in the 2017 Nigerian Navy Recruitment Interview held in Lagos from 25 August to 28 September 2017 are to report for training in 2 different batches at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Onne, Rivers State as follows:

a. NNBTS Batch 27 A – 7 March 2018.

b. NNBTS Batch 27 B – 25 October 2018.

In one of my previous post, I mentioned that Facebook was working on some Face Recognition Technology but we weren't so sure what they actually planned to do with it then. Now Facebook has just announced a new optional tool which will help Facebook users find out when they appear in someone else's photos.
You will notice a new Face Recognition Option which can you can either enable or disable. The whole new Facebook Face Recognition Technology is all controlled by just one button. Once enabled, Facebook will notify you whenever you are spotted in a picture you are not tagged in. It also serves as a security measure whenever someone tries to use your picture as profile picture.
Whenever Facebook detects a picture where you appear in but not tagged, you will be given three options. You can either tag yourself in the picture, reach out to the person who posted the picture or just ignore and leave yourself untagged.
The new Facebook's Face Recognition feature has already started rolling out across all regions except Canada and Europe where Facebook doesn't offer the Face Recognition Technology.
