About 2 weeks ago, i noticed some rashes on my body.It just started a little from my chest,back and stomach region. I went to my family doctor, she gave me some antibiotics and skin care tube to rub on my body.

My dad gave me an antiseptic soap and cream also to be using with dettol as well. I've finished taking the drugs and I've been applying the creams faithfully morning and night but it seems as though it's gotten worse because it has spread to almost every part of my body, precisely from my neck down to my laps(even my bossom), excluding my face though. I am asking this question with a heavy heart because a friend of mine told me his F1 visa application—as well as that of all intending students to the US—was denied this morning. He answered all the questions of the visa officer perfectly but he was still denied. He was aked if he is married and had kids, and he answered in the negative. Could his being single be a factor in the denial of his application? Or is there something else prompting the US embassy to deny Nigerians visas? I am really perplexed because my friend expended a lot of money to apply and gain admission to a US school. If the US doesnt want Nigerians to come to their country anymore, they can as well a formal and well publicized directive to that effect. The practice of swindling Nigerians of exorbitant visas fees must be deprecated and discouraged by the Nigerian Government.

According to my friend, all intending students for masters degree to the US were denied their visas this morning. Not even one was issued a visa. This is the height of visa discrimination and something must be done to remedy the situation. Nigerians cannot continue to waste their hard earned money to apply for visa that has already been denied by fiat of the authorities at the State Department(Foggy Bottom). We need clarity and honesty on this visa issue from US authorities. Enough is Enough.

A Nigerian man identified as Ochuko Sylvester Eruotor has been sentenced to 14 years in a US Prison, after he was found guilty of leading a fraud ring which prosecutors in Texas said laundered $3.5 million from hundreds of victims.


Washington Times reported that 42 year-old Eruotor who lived in Canada was sentenced Friday in Austin, and the court also ordered him to repay nearly $1.7 million. Eruotor who was linked to a money laundering network in which victims were targeted with false reports of relatives in jail, fake investments, tax fraud and romance scams, was extradited from Germany last December, and he pleaded guilty in February to conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Prosecutors disclosed that Eruotor was the eighth person convicted and sentenced to federal prison. The others were earlier sentenced to US Prison terms ranging from 10 months to nine years.

This report is coming barely a day after we reported that Nigerian-American Osmond Eweka, son-in-law of Bright Igbinedion, was charged with fraud in New York. In New York, Eweka and his accomplice were busted for raking in thousands of dollars from a bogus employment agency scam, authorities said.

The First miracle of Jesus in The Holy Quran



The Bible says the first miracle of Jesus, occurred when he was over thirty years old. In John 2:1-10, this miracle when Jesus turned water into wine in a wedding. Jesus made this potent wine that the men have "well drunk." This was not grape juice. It was the same wine that, according to the Bible, enabled the daughters of Lot to seduce their father, Genesis 19:32-33. It was the same wine that the Christian is advised to avoid in Ephesians 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine." The Quran does not mention this alleged miracle to Jesus.

On the other hand, in Islam, Jesus′ first miracle occurred when he was a baby. He spoke as an infant. He talked to defend his mother from any devious judgment from her people. Now ask yourself, which version of the first miracle would you choose for Jesus? The Islamic version or the Biblical version? The Christian could read in the Quran everything he wanted to know about Jesus, but in the most noble, elevated and sublime language. A Christian or a Muslim, when reading the above story in the Quran, could not help being moved by it. I personally saw Muslim adults crying in humility when reading or listening to this miraculous story of the birth of Jesus.

The second section of Surah Maryam, Surah 19, Ayah 16 to 40, tells the story of the birth of Jesus:

16. Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.

17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.

18. She said: "I seek refuge from thee to ((Allah)) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."

19. He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.

20. She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"

21. He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, "that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us": It is a matter (so) decreed."

22. So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

24. But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

31. "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

37. But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day!

38. How plainly will they see and hear, the Day that they will appear before Us! but the unjust today are in error manifest!

39. But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe!

40. It is We Who will inherit the earth, and all beings thereon: to Us will they all be returned.

The above verses represent the personal side of the experiences of the worshippers of Allah in relation to their families or environment.
