When different reliable sources are saying the same thing then it would be pretty unwise to say it's a lie and completely inaccurate.
No. I just showed you how one person can be the "source" and the rest will just copy + paste.

Just like with what Alex Cook did today.

Trevor012:
This your tactics won't work on me. I didn't tell you they had triggered it yet. I said Mbuemo effectivity had two years remaining for buyers due to the 1 plus 1 option. It's very straightforward.
1 plus 1 doesn't mean 2 years. It means 1 year left with an option to extend for 1 more year.

The difference between what I'm saying & what you're saying is, the reason for the plus 1 option. I said that option is so they could sell him for max value. For e.g if Palace had that option for Guehi, they'd have asked Liverpool for £70m last summer. That's the point.

If Mbuemo had 2 years left, it would be listed as 2 years. Not 1 year plus 1 option to extend.

Trevor012:
He doesn't have to be an itk for city as long as he is reliable for German transfers which means he has access to German sources around clubs and agents. You bought a player from a German club and you are telling me a tier 1 source in that region won't know the in and out plus potential wages being offered lol. Try harder grin
He wouldn't. Didn't you see where I posted that City are notorious for being secretive about salaries? Didn't you see how I posted that nobody can verify anything Berger posted? How noncredible he is per City? So yes, Berger like Alex Cook just made that figure up from thin air. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 7:39am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
There was never a breakdown of his salary in that article. Other sources did the breakdown.
That's my point. They didn't. You don't know that the £140k includes bonuses. Capology and the rest rely on estimates. They get it wrong & right sometimes. They are not final arbiters. That's the point I've been trying to make. Nobody signs a fringe asset like Marmoush (sub option for Erling) to pay them £290k a week. If you believe City are paying him that, ride on. I don't.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 7:35am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Why will Brentford need to mention it to the public? The link clearly said during discussion with United for Mbuemo Brentford were assured of their position and valuation because of having an extra year. It's just common Sense. Stop behaving like oga airmark.
These diversionary tactics don't work on me. I've underlined what your article said so you can read it again, this time, slowly.

It says even though his contract was to expire next summer (from last summer meaning in 1 year or 12 months), Brentford knew they had that option to extend [so they could make more money SELLING HIM].

So no need to waste anyone's time. I already told you, the option to extend existed so they could sell at max value. Not that he had 2 years left or that they had triggered it.

Trevor012:
Patrick berger is tier 1 for all German and bundesliga transfers. The club you bought Marmoush from must be from England grin
No, he's from Sky Germany. So yes, he's privy to transfer fees and potential transfers for Clubs doing deals with German clubs. I said he's not an ITK related to City so how would he know what City want to pay a player? That's why I mentioned the internals. The latter has to do with player/agent & the buying club. Has zilch to do with Frankfurt. Try again.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 7:25am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Why were you asking what figure was correct when you knew Capology reported only his base wages? We all know what you were trying to do.
I asked you what aspect of the athletic article on Grealish' Villa salary did they claim that the £140k figure included bonuses?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 7:20am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
You are giving explanation to suit your narrative with no evidence to back it up. Those are what we call shalayes. There's no source you will post that won't have Marmoush earning at least 260k. Bring them out
I mean, if another source already has a figure lower than what you're insisting on, isn't that proof that what you're insisting on is unsubstantiated?

Why wouldn't I give an analysis to justify my claim? Did anyone show you their salary breakdown?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 7:15am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Where did Fabrizio get Guehi transfer fee from?
Transfer fee is easier to determine, dude. 😆

Simply because one of or both teams have to disclose what is being sent vs what is being received. Financial transparency requirements determine it. That's why for e.g nobody could refute City only paid £51m for Erling's release clause. This is basic. Salaries are a different kettle of fish. You'll need multiple corroborations or at times the agent declares it. That's how it works. Next.

It was widely reported which was why they didn't bulge in their valuation plus it's also common sense they would keep their best player for another year.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jul/16/manchester-united-bryan-mbeumo-stalls-brentford-raise-price-70m
"it was widely reported" - post it.

"They'll keep their best player" - crapology.

I said post where Brentford mentioned they were going to trigger it or that they had. That's how the extra year will materialize. This is from your own link. Says nothing about what you're claiming.

Trevor012:
This feels like copium. The German journas that broke the transfer also reported his wages and transfer fee. I am expecting you to call them liars because it doesn't suit your narrative grin
Patrick Berger, like Plettenberg are tier 6 for England and even worse so for City. Not only is he not privy to anything related to City, just like Alex Cook, anybody can post whatever crap they want & the rest of the "ITKs" just regurgitate it. There's a difference between knowing a transfer fee vs the internals. Believe what you want.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:53am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Both figures are correct. Base wage plus bonuses will take you to around that initial amount in your first screenshot.
Post exactly where anyone told you that the £140k excluded bonuses. I'm waiting.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:52am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Your screenshot does not affect anything, all the major reports points to the same thing. Did Doku sign a contract extension? When Doku signs his own contract extension he will double or triple it as well.
No, I'm giving you multiple reasons why its crapology. If you believe a £77m asset, Josko was offered £120k a week before his new contract this season that bumped him up to £200k, but Marmoush a cheaper and older fringe asset was offered £290k, straight from Frankfurt. Why am I having this conversation with you? Meanwhile, I can post other sources that even tendered £250k/260k as his salary. Why didn't you post that but insist on the £290k that you cannot verify from anywhere?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:47am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Must you lie? Capology got him at a basic wage of 150k per week. If you want to add bonuses then your own players like Marmoush is over 350k weekly.
Where did Capology get Marmoush's salary from?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:46am On Jan 17
Trevor012:
Thats what he's earning and that's how Everton and city divided it so yes. Capology once again are about 90% accurate.
So Jack was earning £105k after his new contract at Aston Villa? If not, how did you determine which was accurate?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:42am On Jan 17

Mbuemo effectivity had two years remaining. Brentford already said they were going to activate the extra year. So none of that one year remaining gimmick is going to fly.
Post where Brentford said they were going to trigger the option to extend. Thanks.

You are always insecure ,you think everything about your players is an attack

Now tell me how much marmoush earns and tell me he isn’t your 3rd highest paid player

Someone who earns more than Rodri and foden

The way you reply me self dem go think say I be one mancity hater 😂
No, I dislike it when people make categorical statements on issues they clearly don't know zip about especially when it involves City. If you had started by asking, I'd have told you what I've been able to determine by cross-checking multiple City affiliated sources. That's how to vet information related to wages. Anyone can throw any number around and people who don't care about the quality of information they consume, will just accept it as a fact.

For the umpteenth time, Marmoush doesn't earn anywhere near that figure. He was earning €2m a year when City signed him from Frankfurt. If you believe City are paying him 8 times that amount now, I have nothing to tell you. Believe what you want.

1. From a Liverpool affiliated website.
2. MCFC affiliated (even implying he was on £100k-a-week at Palace).
3. Google AI.

I tire for Android o. Everyone knows Capology is the most reliable and detailed when it comes to player salaries.
Yeah like Donnarumma earns less than Marmoush? Then City gave Savio a new deal of £80k-a-week but left Doku on £50k?

There are people here that argued Erling was earning some amount until your CR7 told the world he had the highest salary in the EPL while at United in 2022. You have to fact-check things.

That's the amount city are covering from his wages for this season. As you can see from their 2024/2025 page on Manchester City wages Grealish is on 300k. The percentage of what city is covering this season is 75k. You dey fall hand o.
No, I posted that because that's not even what City's covering from his loan deal. You think Everton are paying him £225k-a-week? LOL

See what Capology said he was earning after he signed that new deal in 20/21.

The screenshot you posted is even telling you two years so I don't know what you are talking about digging deeper. 1 year plus another 1 that Brentford would have definitely triggered.
No, it's called an "option to extend" and the article is explaining why that option existed: so they could maximize selling him off. In other words, the option is non-existent until it is triggered.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 10:38pm On Jan 16
If anyone was wondering. Jack Grealish signed a new contract with Aston Villa in 2020 (so they'll slap a release clause on him for £100m). That new deal made him Villa's highest earner at £140k per week.

Then City signed him in 2021 for the release clause and convinced him to take £75k a week according to Crapology. grin grin grin grin grin

So why are you paying Marmoush and Reijnders more than Foden and Rodri. Only God knows the amount of money they will ask for when they want to renew this year. £350,000 at least. Your club is in big trouble.
I have property on the moon to sell you, if you believe this. LOL

Jack Grealish is earning £75K per week ya know - from the same website. grin grin grin

Reliable journalists my foot.

This is the Liverpool journalist that posted both at the same time (actually he posted the £200k first). Of course, in this day & age of X offering payouts for engagement. Which one can you see is generating more engagement? LOL.

City spend this season Summer in Winter = 310M Euros (This includes Guehi & Semenyo)
Chelsea spend this summer in winter = 339M Euros
Arsenal spend this season Summer in Winter = 295M Euros
Liverpool spend this season Summer in Winter = 482M Euros
Utd spend this season Summer in Winter = 250M Euros
Utd even spent £70m on Mbuemo with 1 year left on his contract. And his salary is crazy as well. But silence from everyone else.

AFC lost Havertz in summer & splurged £68m or so on Eze as an afterthought.

With everyone fit who do you reckon will be your starting pair and who's going to leave alongside stones
Dias & Guehi (but Pep has realized he should've been giving Khusa more playing time so expect more rotations especially with Nunes at RB).

Stones & Aké are definitely leaving in summer.

Josko is out for 6 months (so he probably won't make the WC squad for Croatia).

I was shocked when I saw 300k. England starter, yeah. One of the best CBs in the division, yeah. But no way, was he going to be earning that much. Especially when you consider his previous wages. 200k seems fair.
The £200k is even because we had to compensate him for the £20m sign-on bonus every other club that wanted him free in summer were offering to pay.

You're not going to offer him more money than Rodri & Foden with BdO & POTY awards to their resume. People just type whatever comes to their minds because of ignorance. There is such a thing called equity in compensation. I know you know this but I'm pointing this out to some other people. grin

But I just lockup because I feel say u don see some verified news about his salary

The guy man is posting fake numbers. In fact, if Fabrizio hadn't posted that the transfer fee was £20m, Liverpool fans cosplaying journalists like Alex Crook had already claimed it was £35m. They are inflating everything to make it look like that's why he selected City.
