He was bad today but he is still adjusting to the pace of the Premier league. The bigger picture is City as a whole are still not playing well so I won't put it on Gundo. If you see the positions he is taking and chances he has missed or passes attempted, he will be back to his form soon.

The only thing Foden did wrong was misplace those 2 passes I described earlier. Inconsequential passes considering the flow of the game at both moments if I must add.

I usually don't pile on Saka because he is a solid player but he generally was off the flow of the game. Misplaced passes in the wings, could not put in his trademark dangerous back post crosses, tried to take one particular shot where Foden was in a better position (but duly apologized afterwards as the shot was blocked). Did lose the ball dangerously during a phase of a counter-attack for Greece that led to his booking.

Foden was a false 9 in the first half and later dropped in the second half to pair with Rice. He probably had fewer touches than maybe only Solanke, Pickford and Watkins.
