Theflint1: What if that particular month was an outlier across the year in question? I'm speculating, but my point is the information you're gloating over is not conclusive either. Month on month average increase/decrease in inflation for that year will be comparing Apples to Apples. Gloating? lol if this statistic was not compared to 2005 would be you be trying to give me possible contexts to it? I have already said that it was a prosperous year. There was no brain drain that year as well. As if you were going to throw PDP under the bus. |

Theflint1: You know this means nothing sha...the average increase in inflation month on month for 2022 is less than the highest increase in inflation for a particular month of 2005, not the whole of 2005. Which means you had a record high inflationary index during a prosperous year? You know, the year that justifies doing foreign aid compared to this year? Or is my statement not in a certain context? |

larride: At the bolded, this is a misconception that has lingered for so long. Hope Uzodinma was not appointed by the Supreme Court, he merely won back his mandate through the court, if you are looking for a state that the will of the people were truncated by the Supreme Court, it is Zamfara and Bayelsa state.
Now let's get to the fact of Imo state election tribunal. There was widespread violence in areas that were Hope stronghold, the Inec signed results from these LG were excluded from the final collation at the state collation HQ. It was on this basis that Hope Uzodinma went to court.
When the matter got to court, Hope Uzodinma was able to proof that the result Inec excluded from his votes were valid votes and the result was consented to by all the party agents and the inec officials in those LG, during cross examination, Inec was unable to give any cogent reasons why those results were voided and not collated with the final results.
The supreme court judgement was that Inec should add back those voided/uncollated votes back to APC numbers and that's how he emerged victorious at the supreme court.
So how then can you say he's not the people choice when it was the people's vote that actually counted? What happened is that Rochas and Ihedohia whipped up sentiments against him and turn the state into a killing spree.
He is the legitimate winner of that election. Very correct. You understand that Hope is suffering for being a member of APC which is Buhari's party. |

obainojazz: Nah, Larride has always defended this regime, the failure was too much he had to hide face. But in a democracy, he has the right to pick who he votes for This is not true. All you people want is for someone to agree with you that Buhari never did any single thing right in 7+ years which is also not true. In the event that Larride even defended every single thing from the administration, he is allowed to because he has identified himself as a member of the party. You on the other hand, continue to defend anything from the west and more specifically Australia. You defend all the policies and narratives touted by the popular news organizations or at the very least you agree with it blindly. To you, they can never be wrong. It seems to me like you guys project who you really are on Larride who at least has stronger reasons to be who he is, than you. |

OVA200: I think you are getting the situation wrong. The pulling of the hair is from the first corner which Mendy tipped over the bar for another corner which resulted into the goal.
If the foul was awarded they won't take the corner. If Chelsea were awarded a penalty, and whilst getting ready to take it, Havertz strikes Romero in the face. Will the ref give Havertz a red card and take the penalty away from Chelsea or will he give Havertz a red card and still allow Chelsea play the PK? My argument is, that according to the rules, the latter is what will happen. I think the confusion here is from the word foul and misconduct. Foul is an infraction that occurs when the ball is in active play. A misconduct is any infraction when the ball is not in active play. How I recall the event is, Perisic took the corner but the ref had been alerted in his ear that VAR was checking for an event that began before Perisic took the corner. VAR decided that the event was insignificant and so Taylor allowed the next play of events to happen which was another corner kick. However, I was positing that, even if the ref had given Romero a yellow or red card for the hair pulling, Taylor would still have allowed Perisic to take the corner because I judged the hair-pulling as an event that had started before Perisic took the original corner. I could be wrong about my recollection, but that was what I thought happened, and in that case, the ball would not have been given to Chelsea. |

kingBolton: Android, the pulling of hair happened right in front of that bald headed official, I wonder how he missed it. The VAR checked for violent conduct and deemed it not worthy of a red card. My major issue is how Taylor didn't give a foul for that cause he clearly saw the foul. I agree that Romero pulled Cucurella's hair and by the rule that was misconduct and he should have been sent off. But the ref would have still allowed Tottenham play the corner kick. That is my position. And I am saying this because when Romero pulled Cucu or began pulling him, it was before the cross had come in.

donstan18: Typical you will bring out screenshot of rules to backup your agenda and hatred for Chelsea.
You mind getting us some? I don't hate Chelsea. There is a difference between misconduct and a foul if we are being technical. What Romero did qualifies as misconduct and he could have been red carded for it. But according to the rules, the reason the ball was out of play will then ensue. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 7:27pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
It is almost the same reason Havertz foul did not invalidate the Tottenham goal. "Almost" as I am not saying it is the same instance. But the ref felt that the foul/non foul was too far off the phase of play that led to the goal. Una blood too dey hot. |

donstan18: But a foul against Spurs wouldn’t have had them take that corner.
D’fvq are you on about? Can’t you hide your hatred for Chelsea for once? It would have. Stop being emotional. There is a way set pieces are over turned. The ball has to be in play when the infringement is made. Don't you see instances where a ref gives a defending player a yellow during a corner kick but allows the opposing player to still take the freekick after? |

thorrvik55: Lol... Wot are u saying?
If it was ruled in Chelsea's favour it would have been a red or yellow to Romero and a free kick to Chelsea..
If that happened in the Tottenham 18 yard box and it was ruled in Chelsea's favour, would u still say this tin u wrote up there? No it would not have been freekick to Chelsea. That is the point I am making. The reason is the ball was not in play when the foul happened. |

forgiveness: How? Was the goal not scored in that process he was brought down? You did not watch the game. The ref listened to the VAR official, then decided nothing happened. The corner came in and Kane scored. That is what happened. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android22: 7:12pm On Aug 14, 2022 |
forgiveness: We were leading and almost got a 3 point until that happened below. How should that be the fault of our defense when Cucurella who was supposed to cover up was pulled down? This did not directly affect the goal. Even if VAR had ruled in your favor, it would have been a red or yellow to Romero, but the corner kick would have stood. |

"Everybody always has a friend or a former classmate that was soo intelligent yet never made it and had to go back to Nigeria". I usually don't believe those stories even though I know anything is possible. Like most people have told you, always have a positive mindset and be strategic. I'll personally advise you to start applying for internships against next summer (if Spring, even better although there are usually fewer opportunities). If you impress, you can get a full-time offer before you even complete your program and it will help you decide if you want to explore the option of using spousal support to get that kpali or if the company will agree to sponsor you. Your industry still enjoys company sponsorship so you might be favored. |

Agadinaagwuofe: I agree with most of your take aside the best finisher, I think that should be between Gundogan and KDB. Haaland is new to Man city and hasn't done enough to rate him in Man city other than his exploits in Borussia, again he missed a sitter last game so I don't think he is the best finisher in that team. He is. Based on his antecedents and based on the training reports. If the missed chance you are referring to is against Liverpool, that was his first competitive game in the last 5 months. Both Gundogan and KdB are decent but they are not on Haaland's level. Haaland would have scored the goal Foden and KdB missed in this same game today. |
