After winning the court trial, this girl came to me and knelt down asking me to forgive her for what she did yet I have been forgiving her for the previous mistakes.

Today my cousin sister schooling at uniben just called me this afternoon and was crying on phone that someone just scammed her on WhatsApp.

According to her,she said that she meet the girl on a WhatsApp group and the girl convinced her that there is an investment scheme that she will invest 5000 to get 10000 within 30 minutes.

Because of her naivety,she sent the money to the girl, the girl later told her that the one of 5k is no longer available that the remaining slot available to invest is 10k, so she told her to send extra 5k to balance it. She still sent the money to her.

After everything has been done, she said that my sister must send extra 7k to claim her 45k.
She still sent the money to the girl hoping that she will get the money.

Immediately she sent sent her the money, she started giving my sister excuses and later blocked her on WhatsApp.

Is there any hope that if i report the account to the bank for fraudulent activity.
Can the money be recovered or should i just tell her to forget It and move on?
she has sent me all their chats and evidences.

Moderators should help me and push it front to page.

If you are truly serious of recovering the money for her, edit your post and paste the name of the account number, account name of bank and the telephone number used by the scammer here and I will help you.

Ignorance like the one above is our primary problem. Successive PDP governments of Obasanjo, Yardua and Jonathan all neglected that road as well as the Aba - Ikot Ekpene where the users voted massively for them.
If the report is true, people should praise God for Buhari as he will save a lot of innocent lives by repairing this road.

I am writing to ask if you can help me to persuade my husband to do less around the house. I am worried that he is going to make himself ill from exhaustion. Also, and it is hard for me to say this to him without being hurtful, I married him for his fun personality not his work ethic and I fear I am losing him to domestic drudgery. I want an equal partner, not a slave.

We have a toddler and a baby, born few months ago. During the pregnancy, I was quite tired and run down and my darling, supportive husband started to do more and more around the house and with our son (and despite a full-time, responsible job, he has always done more than his fair share of housework). I am now breastfeeding the baby, which is tough because he barely stops feeding and won't really nap anywhere except in my arms.

So this leaves my husband doing the shopping, tidying, washing and cooking. He gets up at 6am every morning to get our toddler ready for nursery, with a packed lunch, and he drops him off before he can get himself off to work. Meanwhile, I just sit around feeding the baby!

I feel permanently guilty and as if the only way I will get my husband to do less is if I do more. The thing is that I can walk away from mess and he can't.

I hugely appreciate him helping, but, beyond the basics, would rather see him sleeping or even cuddling me on the sofa rather than trying to be on top of everything. I love my husband – he is truly the sweetest, most loving, most wonderful lover and father, but I find myself resenting the fact that I barely see his fun side these days because he is so tired that he is essentially ill – and I can't help thinking it is at least partly self-inflicted

According to a report from one Ted Odogwu in the Punch Online Newspaper, Ganduje the State Governor is alleging that the Federal Government has abandoned Kano State in the battle against Covid-19. Instructively, the Governor did not give any update on the Corona Football Tournament currently being played by youths in the Kano metropolis and no update whatsoever on the efforts of his government to educate the youths (particularly the one who washed his hands and drank the water) on the Covid-19 in Kano State.

The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has accused the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 of neglecting the state in its current efforts against the coronavirus pandemic.
Ganduje expressed his displeasures in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service on Monday, monitored by The PUNCH.

He said, “We are in a serious problem. I can tell you the situation is really bad and scary. Because what we solely rely upon in fighting the disease is the testing centre.
“There is also a shortage of sample collection equipment. It is not common equipment that you can go and buy in the market. Those whose samples were collected are still waiting to know their fate.
“The problem (is) with the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. Even its Director-General was in Kano. He spent a night here but we have not heard from him again. The Minister of Health is also aware that the laboratory is not functioning.

“There is a serious problem. We have been complaining that Kano needs more than one testing centre, right from the beginning of this (pandemic).”

When asked whether the state was not getting any support from Federal Government agencies in the fight against COVID-19, the governor said, “Sincerely speaking, we are not getting deserved attention. If these equipment (testing centres) are under our control, we will do our best to make sure it works properly. But we are not getting the needed support and co-operation from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.”

However, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, while featuring on a programme on Channel Television on Sunday said the said laboratory in Kano would resume operations on Monday (today), adding that a delegation would be sent there “to thoroughly investigate the circumstances responsible for the rising mysterious deaths in the state”.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as of Sunday night, 77 of the 1273 total cases recorded in the country were reported in Kano.

The State Health Ministry said there has not been any recovery yet, adding that there has only been one confirmed COVID-19 death in the state.

Governor Udom Emmanuel's desire in ensuring food sufficiency in the state is receiving a boost with more private investments springing up in the state. The latest SACAM AGRO PROCESSING MILL LTD at Nung Udoe Itak, off Uyo-Ikot-Ekpene highway in Ikono. The mill produces a unique parboiled brand of rice, Three Rose Rice.

The advent of the new rice mill which compliments the earlier comissioned one, Ibom Agricon Rice, is part of the fulfilment of the policy drive of Mr Emmanuel's administration to produce 80% of food needed in the state.

It was gathered that the state government has offered to offtake several volumes of the produce for the state population as part of its efforts to cushion the effect of the Quarantine and Restriction of Movement Regulation in the state.

The Company's MD told newsmen that his decision to site the mill in Akwa Ibom and Ikono in particular was in response to the friendly business environment created by Governor Udom Emmanuel here and owing to the fact that there is a steady power supply in the area. He said he is enjoying at least 22 hours steady electricity at Nung-Udoe itak.

A 25 kg bag of rice produced as the mill sells for N 9,250 with the 50kg going for N18,500.

Jeez! There is no rice farm within a 50 kilometer radius of this purported rice mill.

No true business man, Igbo man for that matter that will put his hard earned money and invest in a business doomed to fail.

Either the man is rebagging or or it is a front for these politicians.

If Mr. Okeke were truly the business owner and principal investor of the rice scam he would have sited it in Ebonyi where there are rice farms or Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State where there are a few rice farms in operations.
