ACCA 247,
Get admission to a university for Bsc Accounting, you are better off with that than 1 year into a ACCA prep school - which you can do in Nigeria. Everything else you have lined up looks good except this. Good luck.

Congrats, go with the one you prefer, usually the issue at the embassy is not with the school but your finances and other things.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 2:48pm On Mar 11, 2011
I will suggest you do your visa reinstatement ASAP, in the US, before you travel for extension in December.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 8:43pm On Mar 10, 2011
So dont' worry about it.
Why renew in decenber, does your visa expire then?
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 8:31pm On Mar 10, 2011
It is available NOW, but is there a reason for anybody to check?
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 7:45pm On Mar 10, 2011
Things have changed a lot between then and now, immigration cases are generally case by case basis.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 7:34pm On Mar 10, 2011
When was that. Immigration laws are changing you know.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 7:11pm On Mar 10, 2011
The company has nothing to do in this matter, beejaei has F-1 visa (from statements above) and SSN, with that and his ID he can work, but is he authorized? I strongly believe he'll be fine, I'm just suggesting caution from now on. Also visa renewal or extension berore the end of the year will be better in my opinion.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 6:54pm On Mar 10, 2011
If there is/are reason(s) to check and sometimes randomly.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 6:45pm On Mar 10, 2011
No, IRS will NEVER report to DHS, but DHS can check. 50/50 chance.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 6:38pm On Mar 10, 2011
Once tax is paid (deducted from your income) by your employer it must be reported to IRS.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 6:26pm On Mar 10, 2011
dell net,
Wrong, you don't need to be convicted, you just need to be denied visa.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 6:20pm On Mar 10, 2011
It's not a serious issue but never say never, it's nice you are being proactive about it. Try and remember or find out if you signed form I-9. If you did, then the company that hired you has no responsibility in this matter, but I think you must have signed something to get a direct deposit.
TravelRe: Will I Be Deported? by anfanio: 3:08pm On Mar 10, 2011
Did you fill form I-9 before being hired?

It all depends but very unlikely. How were you paid, cash - off the record, how? How long have you been on
F-1?

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by anfanio: 2:50pm On Mar 05, 2011
No. Once your visas have been issued you can travel anyhow you want. Nigeria-UK- US-Nigeria or Nigeria-US- UK-Nigeria. Good luck.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by anfanio: 2:25pm On Mar 05, 2011
Start with a location in the US where you have friends and family, then we can figure out hospitals in that area to give you cost. The rest you have to worry about after you get your visas.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada by anfanio: 4:51am On Mar 05, 2011
There are 9 fundamentals papers and 5 professional papers, ACCA exam is twice in a year explain how you will finish in 1 year. I'm not worried about you in Canada, I'm worried about you going through the embassy. ---------------Look at this clue from the school web site:

ACCA Qualification

Entry requirements

There are a number of entry routes which take into account previous school leaver and graduate
qualifications and allow you to study for the ACCA qualification, provided you are 18 or over.

If you do not have the standard qualifications, you may apply for Mature Student Entry provided
you are over 21. You will be given two years to pass Papers F2 and F3, and will then have 10 years
to complete the remaining papers.

Be prepared for the embassy, think of of all possible questions and have answers ready.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by anfanio: 1:13am On Mar 05, 2011
Mentuzza,
Get letter of invitation from both your unlce and your friend but don't 'tell' the VO you are staying with them, then remember to cancel your hotel reservations as soon as you get your visa so you won't get charged.
TravelRe: Portonovo, Small But Richer Than Nigeria by anfanio: 8:01pm On Mar 04, 2011
Portonovo = city
Nigeria = country
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada by anfanio: 6:47pm On Mar 04, 2011
I just called Stouffville College and I learnt they teach and follow the ACCA syllabus, no degrees offered. I will suggest you call or send email to the school to clarify concerns you may have.
If the visa officer asks what program you are going for, and you answer ACCA, you and I know it takes more than 1 year to do that.
