If you can proof that the funds will be available for your tuition and living expenses (you/your family) for the duration of your stay, go for it. Remember the Canadian visa is by writing a good statement of purpose and let them see things your way. Sometimes they know and see the money is there, but they don't believe it will be used for the said purpose. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/assets/pdfs/visas/53_1_eng.pdf http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/assets/pdfs/visas/53_2_eng.pdf |
chizquare, Where is your cousin? |
University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I hope we are on the same page now. The probability is slim if you rely on a sponsor for the family, for you alone your chances are good. Why do you need a sponsor if you have enough for you and your family? Where is your sponsor now? Study visa with a family could be tough, do your research, there are better options which are family friendly. |
chizquare, Post your questions under “General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries” and you will get responses faster. Meanwhile be more explicit with the followings, course of study or specialty, is your wife going to study also? Is your sponsor a person or a corporate body? Offer of masters program—what program and school? |
james2020, You are to provide answers to requested information, and please do, when they need to know if alive or deceased you will see the question. |

faponfapon, Depending on your status in UK it might not be as tough as you think. |
When is a transit visa required? A transit visa is required for visitors who leave the airport or seaport for the specific purpose of travelling to a third country (i.e. to await a connecting flight, to await boarding a (cruise) ship, or to travel overland to a neighbouring country by bus/car/shuttle). Proof of the connecting flight/cruise or overland transfer is required. Please note: The maximum validity of a transit visa is three days (72 hours). Do you need a transit visa if you do not leave the transit zone at the airport while waiting for a connecting flight? No. http://www.kenyabrussels.com/index.php?menu=8&leftmenu=75&page=75 http://www.kenyabrussels.com/ckfinder/userfiles/files/services%20for%20non-Kenyans/visitors/persons_who_dont_need_visas_2011.pdf |
Why would you pay 100% of your tuition without visa? - Sorry I know it's your money - (I could not find the refund policy for this school). Tuition payment does not guarantee visa, it might help or it might look like desperation to go. Also it is noteworthy that ACCA can be done from home, home as in anywhere in the world and 'online' MBA, you don't need visa to achieve both. Try and be more convincing in your approach to the embassy. What you have in you a/c is about good for 1 yr, and by the way as a potential accountant paying full tuition 6 months upfront is not a good use of money. I pray the VO does not see it my way remember they are trained to look for 'things'. Good luck. |
faponfapon, There are people out there willing to help but because a good letter of invitation will contain some very personal info, people are very reluctant to do it. Suggest you talk to people in your circle who knows somebody in the US and can assist, and by the way don't forget Naija is World HQ for 419s. |
", Plan on going to the US soon, I work in a good org and also got ma mom supporting wit her statement of acc too cos she wants me to go visit her sista who has been there for bout 4years, Her sista is a citizen, , " cophild, Are you going because your mom wants you to visit her sister or you are going because your aunt invited you? |
Do not include the share certificates except you are making both (mom and dad) your sponsors. Read this for the clearance - https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-81595.0.html |
How would you feel if you were denied visa because of the conflict in your 'identity', sorry I mean your name. You and I know that both are acceptable spellings for the name, stick with one. In my opinion it's easier to get the name on the passport and the bank corrected. |
No, you do not. |
james2020, No, you don't have to renew your passport until 2014 or thereafter, to get a visa you need a passport that is at least 6 months from expiration. Renewal is just an of extension of validity date on your current passport by the Nigerian Authority concerned, depending on your location. |
suassooze Tha fact that you are trying to enter UK with false documents shows you have some motives which are only known to you, hence the 10 year ban. You are not banned from EU but how do you know your info is not available to all EU member countries. In your last post you mentioned 'I have all genuine documents this time' that is an admission that you had forged documents in the first place, now you are presenting another "genuine" documents to the French. We all (and you) have an idea where this is going to end. Give it a try and keep us informed. |
Visas are issued for time to enter the US. For example if you have a 6 months B1/B2 visitor visa, it means you can enter the US once within 6 months from the date of issuance, and how long you stay is decided at the port of entry. F-1 visa status will be granted for the period of time, or duration of stay required to complete the course of study. |
1. Consolidate all addresses to where you live. 2. Your husband is away for employment reasons, as agreed to by parties involved and does not want to be ward of the state. 3. Your studies/grant should have a positive effect on your application, because at the end of the day you have great economic potentials, again not trying to be dependent on the society. 4. “The house my husband owns” would be nice if “we” own it, however it’s being rented to reduce financial burden and avoid ………, See a pattern here! OK 5. Your husband is a citizen and as long as he does not renounce his citizenship and you guys remain married your chances are 10 out of 10, hoping that taxes and whatever need to taken care off has been. Good luck! Doctor. |
Write a letter stating that your child was born while awaiting the visa decision and provide supporting documents, hospital records, birth certificate, your passport number and visa number - use copies at this point until originals are requested. Get a passport for your child or get her endorsed on your passport. |
shodawodu, Was the baby born before or after you got your visa? |
Tell her to go to the nearest Nigerian Embassy, we are about 200years away from doing simple stuff over the phone. http://nigerian-embassy.org/ click consular & immigration then follow the link on the page immigration.gov.ng on that web site click visas/entry permit, Good luck |
ACCA 247, Whatever you do, don't move your money into somebody else's account. You will need to explain sudden lump sum into that account and the focus will be on that account, so be careful. Will follow up with you later. |
denio 215 You need Logistics, Material & Supply Chain management if you intend to be the chief clerk or supervisor when you come back. I know you are the best in that company now so you need MBA. As the heir apparent to the throne you will be managing people, the knowledge you have now can not be taken from you, don't waste your time and his money (your money too). Now to the consular officer question, yes he would ask you and here is another one he would ask - would you study engineering if your father ask you, at your age? Ssshhhhhhhh, don't answer it, from now on, lets keep daddy out of it, and I'm sorry if I sound too harsh. The point is, at the executive level, you have people working for you, you are making calls and getting the big contracts signed, you tell your managers your goal for the year, its either they reach it or reach for the door. Family issues are sometimes difficult to handle, be diplomatic and take a stand. Your chances are better when going for the MBA. Good luck. |
So far it's a registered and approved bank in Nigeria there shouldn't be a problem. |
Ioanna, Tell your boyfriend to give you the travel itinerary, may be we can make suggestions along with the plans. |
Ioanna, You have a travel guide and guard, if you can not trust his judgement on all the concerns you have, PLEASE DON'T GO. We can give you all info you need, he will take you to wherever he intended, and nice places of course but work with him. dell_net, I see you guide somebody from Lagos to US Embassy in Abuja, and I know you're in the US, I suggest you go on an all expenses paid trip to Nigeria courtesy Ioanna and her boyfriend. |
beejaei, I sent some info already. Have you seen it? dell net, Just trying to help as much as I can. |
