Check the date of next bid and then write an instruction to your bank stating your preferred bids for 364days bills........And check the result online for result of your bid.........Very simple!...Dont accept such meagre rates for 360days even from secondary market........Is too low.......

mikanju:
Please I don't understand where you guys get those rate from cos I went to first bank today and was given 10.5% on 2 million for 360 days which I refused,I went to fidelity as well and was offered 11% for 360 days from the primary market,I went UBA and was told its 11% too.So please where do you get your rates from cos I really need to invest my funds pls and I need a good returns. When I told them what I read online and even showed them, they said its not true.Am so confused right now!

I think you should complain because such conduct is unethical........Meanwhile have you @all heard about the plane crash in Southern France......Such a pity that 142 passengers and 6 crews had to die helplessly........May God grant their soul eternal peace.......Check the link below and give a serious complain and you should also mention the name of the officer............

Chillis:
Thanks.

Is there a body one can write to for such misconduct.
Clearly they don't give people their primary bids but go through the secondary option.

Even after collecting the tax and other deductions.
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 12:00pm On Mar 24, 2015
Seems like they manipulated your bid.......Maybe you had a successful bid and they decided to ration down your rate.........But next time stipulate clearly your bidding terms and tell them to acknowledge the receipt of your instruction so that there will no excuse after the primary bidding process.....Always submit your bid few days before the auction..........Also let them know that you will be checking the bid result on your own,as in let them know you are fully aware of the whole process.........

Chillis:
Thanks.

How did you get to bid for yourself. After the mails sent to some account officers, they said I could put in my bid which I did. They make it look like primary bid only to give you from their secondary market.
Gtbank
It's all good. That's the price I pay for now.
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 11:36am On Mar 24, 2015
Yes.....That must be secondary market price but not bad............

Chillis:
Pls I need to know if there is anything like 360days in the primary market.

Got 15% from gtbank for supposed 365days only to see 360days in the alert.

I'm guessing it's their secondary market that was sold to me. Might be wrong though

Don't be ignorant.........America is the second largest producers of oil and still they consume a lot......But mind you they still buy oil from some countries and they have since isolated Nigerian oil which seems more like a political move........So many experts have questioned why the hurry since they still buy oil from some countries...............They still buy from Saudi arabia, kuwait and few other countries...........Check this brief article for more clarity........

Are you on earth? America buy our oil? Where will they put it? America that has since cut their patronage of our oil. Our oil dont mean shit no more. America is producing more than enough oil nowadays. Why do you think oil price is falling? Oversupply. Naija oil dont mean shit to nobody no more. We lost the american dollars 2 years ago son
Politics › Re: Obama Speaks Directly To All Nigerians by angelo82: 1:56pm On Mar 23, 2015
The message is simple.........If you want us to buy your oil then vote out this present government and if you don't say goodbye to American dollars......His message is not a joke and it seems they know a lot that we don't know about GEJ government........This election will be dramatic for Nigeria........
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 4:54pm On Mar 19, 2015
I don't know about others but Access will usually fall down to that level before election and it will rise again....................

Born2berich:
With the sharp practice that happened on Monday, I doubt if they will allow it to fall down to that price again. However, nothing is impossible.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 3:13pm On Mar 19, 2015
I will like Access to come to 4.50k so that I can start my JIJO experimentation from there.........Is one stock that always go up and down within short period.................

ernie4life:

Very funny..........I just sent my instruction now and since I didn't hear any contrary opinion I decided to bid at 15.2% just to be on the safe side......Surprise that you propose the same rate........It means the bid will succeed.....lol........

ernie4life:

Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 6:35pm On Mar 13, 2015
This Access Bank result get as e be...........With their level and all the money they are charging their customers, they still declare below 1.00Naira dividend..........How are we even sure they are not manipulating the result just to shortchange the shareholders?..........
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 11:12am On Mar 10, 2015
Next auction will be on the 18th of March..............

Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 6:46pm On Mar 09, 2015
The funniest thing is bank will invest FD principal amount in Treasury Bills............Pre-crisis era a lot of people fell for that but now everyone knows better and i don't need anyone to tell me what to do.......The good thing about Treasury Bills especially for Nigerians abroad is that you can fund all local expenses from the pre-paid interest without spending from your wallet......Its very good investment..........

coderXO:
Oga, I'm sure you miscalculated. No bank will have rolled you over 4 times for a 40% p.a on your N5m.

No chance. ZERO!
Politics › Re: President Jonathan And Yoruba Oba's, Blessing Or Curse? (photo) by angelo82: 1:11pm On Mar 09, 2015
You should know this is the usual way of forcing blessings on someone who is not blessed......You will have to use Epe but that doesn't mean he won't get the positive result..........They can't bless him through the normal way because it won't work as the man might have committed a lot of atrocities unknown to ordinary human being.....So they are cursing him just to bless him by force..........
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 9:21pm On Mar 05, 2015
I just received alert for my other bills which mature today.............I hope this bank will allow me to bid for 364days also like my other bank........They are more sincere...............

myjoy08:
Their result might be released earlier before that date stated...!
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 5:30pm On Mar 05, 2015
This year will be the 5th that FBNH is formed.......I mean FBN as a holding company and its important to the management that they declare good dividend so as to allow pension funds in Nigeria to buy their stock as they are barred by law since FBNH is seen a new company on nose...........I think something good is coming them..........

presiade:
One thing is to make profit, it's another thing to be willing to declare juicy dividend; they may want to reserve a large portion of the EPS.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 5:27pm On Mar 05, 2015
I have followed some of their press releases and it hints towards a better dividend...........I believe that good news will come from FBN and negative analysis won't affect them........They made some positive stride last year and I don't think their exposure to oil and gas will cripple their profit...........28th is around the corner.......

myjoy08:
First Bank will not be underestimated in terms of what they paid last year. They might pay a little bit more of what they paid last year...or equivalent to last year if one can only ignore all these negative sentiment. Plz don't quote me...
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 5:03pm On Mar 05, 2015
I think they will pay 1.00K or a little more............Dont judge with the share price...........Business is not bad for First Bank,so lets be hopeful........They will announce their result on the 28th of this month...........

presiade:
First Bank? Naaaa! Though I am heavy on FBNH, I don't see them paying close to this.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 4:58pm On Mar 05, 2015
I hope First Bank can pay similar amount..........It will be so cool..................

myjoy08:
There is 1.50 (Naira) final dividend. Check the corporate action on the last page
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 4:56pm On Mar 05, 2015
Its very simple........Someone might be probably taking advantage of you knowing fully well that you are inexperience concerning T.Bills........Just mail the customer service of First Bank or call them and explain the whole situation.........Am sure they will sort things out for you........Express your situation/feelings just like you have done on Nairaland and everything will be alright............

Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by angelo82: 9:45am On Mar 05, 2015
Rates keep going up...........I am waiting for another T.Bill to mature today,so that I can lock that one in also for another 364days............The thing is if you don't invest your money with current tide of incessant devaluation, your money will definitely worth nothing in the long run.............So is smart to invest and get as much interest as possible and possibly when the economy is stable, you can reap further benefit with a valuable naira..........

kaptinphilz:
March 4 result from cbn site
91 days tenor=10.8%
182 days tenor=14.85%
364 days tennor=15.899%

I m still waiting for first bank notification. I don't know if thier bid is successful.

Why do you want to close your union bank account when they sincerely asked you to write a simple letter to bid by yourself.........Thats the most transparent way to invest in T.Bills..........Now its left for you to bid correctly........

htconeline:
i went to first nd i was not allow to place bid is d bank going to sell from secondary market.
Union bank ask me to write letter to bid.....am about to close my unionbank acc for these.
Is first bank TB branch depended or bank holder get desame rate.
Politics › Re: Tinubu To Sue AIT For Airing ‘Defamatory Documentary’ by angelo82: 7:14pm On Mar 02, 2015
Defamation is a serious case especially when Tinubu can proof that more than one person heard the injurious falsehood spread through the channel which is obvious in this case.........Its a permanent defamation since it was propagated via audio-visual media and Tinubu is right to sue..........
