I described NCCF Lokoja to Him. Meanwhile 4pm is our fellowship time. He was very punctual. He brought 3 fresh apples. He was asking where is my room I just said let's attend this fellowship small. He has been there since till 6pm, In a nutshell, baba is one our first timers. � � �. He later went out saying time has gone.

The scam was perpetrated in 2014 when preparations were already in top gear for the election. It is save to assume that the funds for the contract was diverted to fund Jonathan's campaign. If Buhari goes after those that perpetrated the scam, it will lead to the arrest and prosecution of PDP members and Jonathan himself. A former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu has made a rather startling revelation on Camera, admitting that when he was a member of the former ruling party, they 'used' to kill people during periods of crisis.

He admitted that while he was a member of PDP, he was aware that politicians eliminated their rivals and other
electorates so they can secure their victory during elections.

Kalu who was governor from 1999 to 2007, defected to APC in November 2016. He disclosed this while
addressing journalists in Abuja during the South-East APC caucus meeting in Abuja yesterday May 31st.

He said this while reacting to the peaceful APC congress that took place in the South East recently.
''In any democracy, there is always a quarell. In PDP, we used to kill people when we are doing all this
things(congress) which is not good. People used to die'' he said.

The Senate Majority Leader, Ahmed Lawan, says the issue of impeaching President Muhammadu Buhari has been laid to rest.

Lawan said the United States, US, President, Donald Trump’s confirmation that his country received $496m from Nigeria for fighter jets, has put the issue of impeaching Buhari to rest.

Speaking with Daily Trust, the Senator noted that impeaching the president holds no weight because “we didn’t lose money as a country.”

The lawmaker insisted that Buhari cannot be impeached for taking an “action to save Nigerians.”

According to Lawan, “I don’t know what the committee will report. I will rather guess but this committee is a representative of the senate and indeed the national assembly. So, since it has been confirmed that the money has been paid to the US treasury and President Trump has also confirmed it, I think this has laid the matter to rest.

“I’m not sure there was any serious motion for the impeachment of the President. If anybody did that, I’m sure the person misunderstood the entire process of parliamentary scrutiny

“My understanding of parliamentary scrutiny is to ensure that no public resources and money are lost. The release of $496m for the purchase of Super Tucano by the President has shown that no money was lost; more especially when the President of the US, Donald Trump, in discussion with the president said the American government is in receipt of the money. That goes further to confirm that we didn’t lose money as a country.

“So we really have not lost anything and I think this should give consolation to everybody because the fear will always be that someone took advantage and money was lost.

“How can we impeach the president for taking action to save Nigerians? It has been confirmed that the money has been paid to the US government.”

At this point, I would like to agree that president Buhari is just as clueless or as accused, divisive and insensitive. With statements like these, its no surprising the insecurity in the country doesn't seem to be getting any diminished. One would wonder if we are competing with the statistics for highest number of death or something?

If the president truly cared and is working sleepless on the issue of these nightmarish killings, one would think his response should be about how he has deployed military personnel to these violence prone areas, how members of these criminals have been caught in the act thereby proving or not whether they were herdsmen or not, how through intelligence gathering sponsors of the Bokoharam and Land grabbers in Benue have been arrested and made to face trial either within Nigeria or the International Criminal Court.

It is rather appalling and truly insensitive to imply that because people were killed in one state, its not a big deal if people get killed in another state. Dear Mr President, the protection of the lives and properties of the citizens of Nigeria is your responsibility regardless of their state, tribe or religion. A mischief to one is a mischief to all. #takeresponsbility!

Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has parted lips on the recent arrest of Senator Dino Melaye, Bello and Melaye have been at loggerheads for several months now with rumours that he has a hand in Melaye's current ordeal with the Police.

In the video monitored by PoliticsNGR, the Governor told newsmen that he read about Melaye's ordeal in the newspapers adding that "let the law enforcement officials do their job".

An account in Collins’ name @9ja_collins, however reacted to her Instalive video in which Nina was called a cheat. The Twitter user also told Nina to tell her people to stop calling him, as he recounted how he treated Nina like a Queen and supported her dreams financially, emotionally & in prayers, but got nothing.

LAGOS SCHOOL REFUSED TO ADMIT OUR MAID BECAUSE SHE IS NOT AN INDIGENE, MAN CRIES OUT


Europe based Igbo man has alleged that their maid was refused admission into Festac secondary school on the ground that they only admit indigenes of Lagos State.

Mr Arinze who resides in Madrid, Spain asked his wife to take their maid to the nearby secondary school in Festac so that she could get some glimpses of education. Getting to the school, he alleges that the school management told his wife that they only  admit indigenes of Lagos state.

You would recall that February this year the Governor of Lagos state, His Excellency  Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode formally signed a bill into law “to provide for the preservation and promotion of the use of Yoruba Language and for connected purposes,” thereby making it the first state to enact law seeking to preserve and promote its indigenous language.

The yoruba language preservation law made it compulsory for all primary and secondary schools – private or public – in the state to include teaching of Yoruba Language as a core subject at all levels. According to the government, violation of the law will attract a fine of N500,000 or complete closure of the school.

More also, candidates seeking admission into all tertiary institutions in Lagos state must henceforth possess credit in Yoruba Language.

However, whether the new law which  was trailed with mixed reactions has snowballed into discrimination of students in regard to admission or the management of the government owned schools are using it to deprive indigenes of other states is yet unknown.

A Nigerian man identified as Smart Christain has taken to his Facebook page to ask for advice from people because his boss threaten to sack him because he refuses the his boss’ wife request to send their housemaid of out the house.

According to him, the boss’ wife told him to send their housemaid out of the house without allowing her to take anything out of the house but he declined because he find such act inhumane.

“Some days ago before chrismas, my boss wife who was admitted in a hospital, called me from her hospital bed as early as 5.a.m and asked me to come to the hospital, that it was an emergency. I rushed to the hospital because her husband (my boss) asked me to check on her time to time. Only for her to tell me that i should go back and take her house maid to the park and send her back. Stating that i shouldn’t let her take anything along with her. Not even her own belongings like cloths and other things. That i should pretend like am taking her to the hospital, then take her to the park. Meaning, I shouldn’t let her know that she is going back.
I got confuse but i kept quiet. On getting to the house, I sat the girl down and i begin to question her. (she is not up to 16yrs)
I asked her if she offended her madam, she innocently said noo. I asked her if she wanted to go back? She said yes but after she finish her primary education.
I asked too many questions and i realised that there was no reason that i know, for the woman to send this girl away unaware by the the girl. At least the girl has every right to know that she’s been sent back.
So, I returned back to the hospital, gave madam her money and told her that i cant do it.she collected her money and didnt utter a word.
Days later, i found out that her reason to send the girl back was because her pastor told her that the girl is a witch and she is the one who is responsible for the bad happenings in the family.
Well, to cut the story short, my boss called me and asked why I refused doing what his wife asked me to do. I calmly explained to him thinking he would get my point. But all he did was to threatened sack and all that.
Yesterday, I went to the office. Gave the securities my resignation letter. Afterall the company are owing salaries of 5months. I told them they should drop it on the desk of the HR before work resumes. Work is supposed to resume next week Monday.
I cant be part of such stupidity and I don’t in anyway regret my actions.
