I would say within the UK... yes better than public health as it can sit more widely within NHS ,public or private sector

however with jobs after graduation, is not about just having a degree ............. you must ensure you work towards making yourself marketable by having relevant work experience
Okay.. thank you!!!

What the job prospect after public health in the UK is what Is key..... for those who plan to stay back.

Choose your course wisely, choose your career path wisely ... education is for a short time but the career path last a long time.

Be strategic cheesy .
Does biomedical science have good job prospects?

Personally, I would advice you to just go for Biomedical Science or Public Health because most schools take minimum 7.0 in ielts for nursing that was why they didn't give my wife pre nursing as she had just 6.5 in ielts. My wife did Microbiology in her undergraduate so she got admission for both Public health and Biomedical Science though she eventually pick Public Health
I thought IELTS is not compulsory, anyway I’ll settle for biomedical science cos nursing is expensive too.. which school is your wife? Thank you

1. Go and apply for your transcript and course description from your uni

2. Apply for MSc applied biomedical sciences (I think Leeds, liverpool and Glasgow offer this)
Applied biomedical sciences allows you to do placement while ur studying which gives u experience and will allow u complete registration portfolio to be registered with the HCPC.

3. Without HCPC registration YOU CAN NOT work in NHS labs. NHS is the highest employer of biological science graduates in the country.

Thousand of students graduate yearly without experience and hence finding it hard to get into the NHS labs for jobs. The smart ones are those that did the UNPAID placement while studying and was fortunate enough to be registered with HCPC.

Once u graduate with ur name on the HCPC register and of course the experience U gathered while studying chances of getting a job is 99.9999999%

Follow these steps and thank me later

Thank you for this.. will check it out!!!

Go for MSc nursing (pre registration). Its 2 years with hospital placement. But expensive.
Is it possible to get admitted without having any previous nursing degree or experience?

Please I would really appreciate your suggestions, what postgraduate course can someone with bsc Microbiology go for in UK, one that would make it easier to get a job while/after schooling.. I also need suggestions on the best cities with good availability of students jobs, any other cities outside of London.

Your financial aspect is weak and thus, that might be use to scrutinize your application esp with traveling with an accompanying dependent of 12months old. The cost of daycare or nanny service which normally is charged per hour might cost around $25 -50 CAD or higher depending on the province minus other miscellaneous expenses for you and your baby.

If you can get a reliable sponsor who would be financially committed, then you may likely not have too much financial scrutinization and relieve you of certain financial burden.

Good luck!

I don’t understand what you mean by my financial aspect being weak, I never said anything about finances.. I know the cost of daycare and all and I can afford it, what I asked was if I should enroll her first before applying for the visa.. my husband is my sponsor!!!

Answer to number 3. you can apply with your child if you have enough funds to carter, you don't need to apply to a school from here for the child, you can explain that you will enrol the child when you arrive Canada in your SOP .

Okay.. thank you!!!

Alright.. thank you!!!
Qudkom:

Hello;
1. You definitely need to account for all activities since you graduated from university.
2. You can always apply for a graduate certificate program nothing less in order to avoid issues relating to purpose of visit.
3. Once you figure out the province you're going and get an admission letter you can always look for the nearest daycare to enroll your child.

P.s: don't apply for any kind of certificate for the purpose of "entering Canada" it's important to apply for a program that shows progression in your studies and career.

Hi everyone, I’m applying to study and I have some questions please
1. I finished school since 2015 and I haven’t been working since then, how do I explain the study gap and will it hinder my chances of getting study permit.

2. I have bsc microbiology with 2.2, so I want to go for PGD/C. Which courses can I go for? Something related to microbiology, I have done some research and have been able to get food science or occupational health and safety, which one is good between the 2 as regards Canada. I’m open to more options.

3. I want to go with my 12months old daughter, do I need to register her in a daycare before applying, or should I apply alone first, get the visa and then apply for her before leaving. I can’t leave her behind please

I would appreciate y’all answers and contributions. Thank you!!!

Good day mama,
Kindly assist with your review on aptamil+frisogold, and or August secret for six month old.

Thank u Mamas as we await your response.
My baby is 6months and she’s taking frisogold, aptamil, cerelac and August secrets.. she has refused to take any other thing even fruits. When we started introducing solid foods, she rejected all the foods but the first time I introduced August secrets, she ate. I was speechless mehhnn, she likes August secrets to the point that even when she was sick, she stopped taking her cereals but she never stopped taking AS. She likes frisogold too and takes oatmeal sometimes. I’m sorry for the late reply.

Please mamas I have this 4moms mamaroo for sale, bought it for my baby but didn’t really use it. It’s still clean, looks new and in perfect condition. I’m finding it difficult to upload the pictures. Interested buyers should contact me. I’m selling it for 90k(negotiable).

I experienced same and was worried but what I did was to arrange the ear first before laying his head. Try it. But I'm sure nothing would happen to her ears, some of these things are just normal, sometimes we lie sideways with our ear folded but when we get up it falls back to its normal shape.
Would try that, see me already thinking of using plaster to hold the ear #smh.. thank for reply!!!
